The team can battle Organization XIII here!
So far, with great difficulty Joe, Mario and Fred managed to defeat Xajnus, #6 in the Organization and a powerful foe. They also managed to find out about the past and background of Xingel, the founder of Organization XIII. It seems that the group has two primary objectives:
1) Produce more Nobody by making more Heartless. Aulpax indicated that this objective was not about being evil for the sake of it. It seems that the Nobody are terribly alone. They feel that if they had enough of their kind, they might be able to have solace in company and thus start to develop a real community. They argue that they have a right to exist.
This might have some openings. Some may not mind fusing back with their original forms, but some undoubtedly will, viewing such a move as an insult and an end to their independent existence. Worse, for some this may not be an option: The originals may be unwilling, or dead, or unreachable.
2) A secret objective apparently held by Xingel but not known about by the rest of the Organization.
Nigel Hartsley became a Nobody after his wife died. He did so deliberately, hoping to understand the soul. In his research, he had come to the same conclusions as Ansem and Xehanort about the heart, soul and body. But he reasoned that, while the heart is an essential element in life, the essential spark of the soul is what matters to stave off death and preserve health. To understand this element, he became a Nobody and is attempting to see what happens when Nobodies reach a critical mass.
Some of the Organization members are apparently quite malevolent. Inakx, for example, was arrogant and brutal. Xajnus was treacherous and manipulative. Xefas was unimaginably brutal. But Aulpax was generally pleasant enough. And by all accounts, Xingel is not a terrible person. There may be room for compromise with the better members.
