Story: His family moved to America to avoid the collapse of Yugoslavia. Their family had seen enough hardship in Serbia and it was time to find a new home, thought his parents. They came to America and heard about the horrors going on in Kosovo and the NATO bombings and were quite worried about their family members, so they asked them to come to America to live with Pavao's family. His uncle and grandparents came. His grandfather was a renowned priest and pushed Pavao to become a priest himself. Pavao hated it but his parents thought it might be good for him. Pavao began training and would read and learn old church slavic while they travelled to book fairs. At these book fairs and through the stories in his books, he came across mystic tales that frightened him and awed him at the same time. Pavao wanted to learn more about these dark secrets hidden underneath his grandfather's religion and in the catacombs of the book fairs. He learned more and more about the occult and even began to wonder if these stories had truth to them. When dark day happened, Pavao felt something deep inside of him urging to release itself. At first he controlled it. He was nervous. He wondered whether some demon was living inside of him. And then after he saw a picture of his grandfather and remembered their arguments, it released inside of him! He morphed into a three-headed dragon and he felt a supernatural power pour over him. He was a hydra, a creature from some of the stories he had read, of Babylon and ancient demons. He could speak Farsi and Turkish, two languages of the heathens that the Balkan people had fought for centuries. He realized that he became his rebelliousness to his parents, his grandfather, and his people.
