okay first things first I need to go over a few ability scores of taklinn's before we begin specifically
Strength and Endurance are fucking obscene Taklinn is simply a 10th level warhulk and the rest Paladin translated, taklinn makes F2 whirlwind attacks as a regular attack as well as a sweeping effect whenever he uses a throwin' rock finally he uses his strength and not his dexterity when using his rocks
Dnd stat line
Str:82 Dex:20 Con:52 Int:18 Wis:26 Cha:26
power these up to CH level
Basic equipment his greatsword which is about as holy as the abyss is evil his full plate which is even more holy that his sword and his throwin rocks, taken form the ruins of many aincent temples
other than F2 power attack, cleave, great cleave, and a few F2 great smiting's (the efects stack) his three fold smite (three smites in one) positive energy aura, and planar turning, he's pretty much a standard paladin
he would have joined CH as soon as he possibly could and is one of the few people hack respects (one guess as to why)

I'd say H Forbidden Str and M Forbidden End. It sounds like to get very high attributes and Merits, you're going to sacrifice a lot of Fs and F2s, so maybe half the normal number of Fs and F2s? You'll probably have 150 or so CPs into Paladin, so except for trainer abilities and the free Classes you'll be all Paladin abilities (Diablo II and WoW lists will be damn useful). You also are clearly leaning more to the strength side of the Tree. Any Prestige Classes like Undead Slayer or what not?
Does the greatsword have special abilities, or what is its focus? Ditto for the full plate. I like the idea of special rocks, could even be your own quest... Come up with 10 or so either unique rocks or patterns of rocks with textures, shapes, etc. for strategic variety.
With that prodigious of attributes and basic skill as well as ethical qualifications, he would easily qualify for CH, of course. Helvena would probably have requested him, and most of the team, even Quion, will respect him.
Work him out a bit more, including making a full sheet with the communal abilities and so on listed, and you'll immediately get him playable.

by Dnd his sword was +10 holy and axiomatic power and speed, it was made of cold iron his full plate was +10 great invulnrability (25/+5) and made of adamantine his rocks were simply good aligned, although some were more brick like,others flat and frisbee like although razored edges, each weighing approxamately 2 million pounds (and yes by DnD standards he could LAUNCH these) acctually I may go with Hulking Hurler (complete woarrior) and traidic knight (champions of valor) most of Taklinn's abilities are acctually epic feats (positive energy aura, planar turning and what not) keep in mind Taklinn's Dnd Ecl is 52, and many Dm's have called him a game destroyer hell even in the game I did use him in, Overdeities were terrified of him.

1000 tons isn't SO much... Those babies will be FTLing like none other. Tonight I plan to have the Forbidden . Now, The full attribute spread will probably be: Str - H Forbidden End - M Forbidden Reflex - VH Godlike 5/20 Keen - VH Godlike 5/20 Int - VH Godlike P. Ability - VH Godlike 15/20 Charisma - VH Godlike 15/20 Will - VL Forbidden Yes, I count Positive Energy Aura, Planar Turning, etc. as Abilities, which is where Merits are distinct from Feats. But that is nonetheless represented in that most of your abilities are per-day or other discrete time period, practically costless, etc. So you won't be doing anything really spectacular, but you will be lasting awhile and hitting very hard each time. Your character has all the three stats for a main tank as well, and depending on how you structure your abilities and so on he may be a main tank there as well, which would only leave trainer abilities. Also, you could definitely get a TON of Auras. Just remember: Prestige Classes are just like any other Class and take CPs. In addition, if you want a Secret Paladin Class... Don't worry, Taklinn will be deadly, but Itek has decimated multiple All-Fathers and Kaioshin in the past, according to Tyrant. You currently have the highest Str of the team, even bigger than the 75-foot flame dimension! (His P. Ability ties your Strength). I can also enter Taklinn into the tournament, if you wish. (Do post there as both DI and Hack). Everything sounds okay so far, just give me some more meat...

Well, that doesn't mean Taklinn has never learned from others at any time. After all, even Magis, so rare they almost never encounter another of their same type, can learn from their experiences. And if Taklinn was a champion of the people, many would work to train him. But yes, you can note that under a Trait: Self-Trained. It means your abilities are largely your own: Disadvantage is the half Fs and so on, Advantage is the attributes you have (can always substitute with advantages) and that the abilities you do know you are uniquely gifted with and know like the back of your hand, which allows Combination and Cooperation Tech bonuses among other things. You still get the 10 OGM trainers, though.

alright Taklinn is H aulk of a giant standing almost fifteen feet tall and weaighiing nearly a ton, he wears shining adamantine full plate the craftsmanship of which is envied by even the most skilled of cosmic forges, he carries a great sword so Holy that it hurts a corrupted soul to even look upon it, his eyes shine a brilliant topaz and two birdlike wings of the purist white erupt from his back, even the most cowardly feels an overwhelming sense of courage when in his midst, and one can clearly see that beneath his stone grey skin is an overwhelming muscle mass, Taklinn dosen't combat evil, He Anhilates it
Desctete ablities, well there's the half celestial spell like abilities (which always rock) his ability to use his phenominal strength instead of dexterity even when throwing an object at a specific point

Give those names and add it. I'd add all the Diablo II Paladin skills plus list all your powers you had in D&D. Make me a sheet in the format given and go through all the directions listed that I gave you earlier. Have at least half your F2s from your trainers and your Fs (i.e. Wind Scar III, Backlash Wave II, Blades of Blood III, Ironreaver Soulstealer III...)

Half celestial spell like abilities, they we basically things like bless magic circle against evil aid cure moderate wounds ressurection summon monster 9(celestails only)
positive energy aura is like turning undead without the turning part (they simply are repulsed 10 feet from him)
and I dont really know how the sheet go's so I'll type a few thing on his experience
knowledge religion,history,nobility and royalty and the planes are maxed ride and handle animal are next on the list, he'd probably ride some celestial dire dinosaur athletics and intimidation are the only class skills of the warhulk of his paladin spells he prepares only healing spells
F2's great smiting(3) power attack endurance diehard (as the Dnd feats but much better) smite evil remove disease remove poison Lay on hands unarmed strike (lethal or subdual, my choice)
F's Holy aura holy smite (as spell) Holy light (searing ligt basically) magic circle against evil bless (self plus all allies in 90 ft) consecrate Aid
affinities: ki: med magic: high psychic: low tech: high

Many of those sounds like Merits, which if you took the spread you listed would be Power Attack, Unarmed Strike, etc. Lay on Hands, Remove Disease, Remove Poison, Smite Evil etc. (all of which would be Lay on Hands IV, Remove Disease IV, etc.) would be the abilities. Remember that you only get three or so innate F2s, the remaining ones are trainer inspired, which means you'll probably get things like Backlash Wave IV, Supernova II, etc. To be clear: Unarmed Strike is not an ability. Futae no Kiwami Infinite Render is an ability.
Do you want higher Affinities than Hack did? Most of the team ranges from 2500-3000 distributed among the four Affinities. You still need the four trainers left. Dekar, Aguro, Maxim and Guy from Lufia would be great for the ax and greatsword training. I'd give you 2500 for your current attribute spread unless you take more Negatives. Do remember your 5 Positive Trait Points.

It's far more than +5 in CotG, but yes. That sounds fine. If you have any additional questions, shoot. If you can find a full list of all the Cleric spells in D&D, I'd add them to your sheet at at least Normal levels.
Erdrick from Dragon Warrior and any D&D or Warcraft Paladins would also be good sources for trainers.
EDIT: Don't forget the Communal, Job Gem and Tome Jobs.

See the Group Resources thread, it lists the Job Gems, from which you pick one Class from each. The Tomes include a class at 6 Class Points having to do with (one of EACH of the following):
*Martial arts *Flame *Psionics *Engineering, science, forging or enchanting *Magic
The Communal Classes are:

Cata's talents are all wonky so I'll improvise.
fill ret completely to start
then for half talents in prot we'll start with 3/3 divinity 2/2 seals of the pure 1/2 eternal glory
2/2 judgements of the just 3/3 toughness
2/2 hallowed ground 3/3 sanctuary 2/2 wrath of the light bringer
2/2 reckoning
1/1 vindication
Holy
2/2 arbiter of the light 3/3 protector of the innocent 3/3 judgements of the pure
2/2 last word 2/2 blazing light
2/2 denounce 1/1 divine favor 2/2 infusion of light

I put roughly double the normal cata talent points into him, and gave him a retribution focus but he can still take a punch or heal an ally. I can only imagine how beastly his guardian of aincent kings will be.
Still debating the Diablo paladin build that would be best, for him.
Possibly an Auradin to add some versitility to his considerable "use swords to kill stuff" skill.
