Notes:
Disposition: slightly guilt ridden
Appearance: this illithid stands a little over sixfeet tall with indecernable weight, his robes are a plain black, contrary to what is expected from a mighty wizard such as himself, if one can discern emotion on an illithid face his would be one of great sorrow for sins done in the past, he carries a deck of many things with him and will not draw from it under anyconditons, solely to remind him of what he has done

Distinguishing Marks: unlike other illithid zelen has six tentacles each are around three and a half feet in length

History: an unpleasant history, Zelen was as vile as illithids come through out his early years, enslaving creatures and having them do his bidding, all that changed the day he drew from the deck, he suddenly felt overwhelming remorse for what he had done and resolved to set out and atone for his sins
he was also a rare breed of illithid who instead of deveolping Psionic talents, trained in arcane magic and was forever shunned, this caused him to train ruthlessly in the art of the Anti Psion, and is highly proficent in the use of it's abilities
he met taklinn shortly after His rise and the massive giant was immedeately bewildered by Him, and illithid who wasn't evil who has heard of such a thing, Taklinn decided to help Zelen, partially out of pity, and from pride that so vile a creature could rise above evil, the two have been staunch allies ever since

Curse of Black Fate: This curse turns the forces of Fate against the target!
Curse of Flame's Antagonism: One's heat resistance is lowered to virtually nil, indeed turned into a massive vulnerability. Flame curls around the person constantly, ambient heat burning the person. Fires burst all around them spontaneously [some versions use this to make someone destroy the homes and towns of friends and family making them a pariah], and any existing fire will mystically stream at the person, whether from a lighter, bonfire or anything else. Fire elementals, spirits, etc. will assault the character. The character's own processes (say the production of methane) will ignite. Any fire attacks the victim will use will backdraft and strike them or allies. Uses are obvious: Disarm a fire specialist, etc. [Versions exist for cold and ice, water, electricity, etc.]
Curse of Following Storms: Constant storms follow the character. Lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, and other apocalyptic events will constantly strike the person. Mist will obscure around them.
Leech Seed III (Legendary because normally it's a beast or nature move, not a curse)
Curse of the Siphoner: Someone struck with this curse becomes a living source for the caster. Magic, psychic, ki or technique energy; stamina; Attributes; food, water, sleep... All of these can be constantly drained at the whim of the caster. The victim can be forced into MASSIVE negatives in all of these stats to boost the caster.
