The Planejump drug should be used by people! Within limit, you can leap to awareness of a new dimension: Mirror dimensions, time, spirit planes, hells, etc.

What plane, time, dimension (as in dimension of measurement), etc. do you want to become more affiliated with?

Im in too, my whole team. Jack a plane of timelessness. Jessica a plane of blissful quiet, and happiness. (Random, she has no clue which she wants to aim for, anything to escape her hellish reality she lives in now.) Wyatt a mirror plane so he could gain some self reflection, in how to better himself. Evan a plane of nature and peacefulness where violence, death and unhappiness doesn't occur, pure harmony.

Timelessness can be quite complex, but I have the first experience for your trip.
Jess may be looking for the dimension of Wonder, that exemplified by the Rising Dragon.
The Mirrorlands are quite extensive and complex.
Evan is looking to become a Bodhisattva; perhaps see the final evolution of the universe? Rather regrettably, I think it's beyond the Planejump's power. Though certain prerequisites for the bodhisattvahood, ala Ibogaine, might be possible.

I suppose everything is a go and I guess we can work something out for Evan's jump.

Jack takes the drug in his room. Outside, the birds are chirping; inside, Evan's metal is playing. Suddenly, everything becomes one high-pitched whine.
Jess imbibes the toxin. So far, everything seems the same.
Wyatt prepares a full ritual, circles and everything. Finally, the endless tumult of the liquid is downed. Wyatt collapses and feels a strange sensation to walk towards a point of black light at the dimmest edge of his perceptions.

Evan as of right now will go and check in on everyone once in awhile, make sure they aren't dead or destorying anything they shouldn't be.
Wyatt will goto the light.
Jessica I suppose will go find Evan.
Jack will attempt to make the whining stop.

How will Jack make the whining and screeching stop? It's emanating from everywhere.
The moment she stumbles into Evan, she sees a great mist about him, a tension that is palpable, indeed so obvious she wonders why she didn't see it before, especially given her heritage. The field begins to soften. Evan, on the other hand, sees Jess wandering out, becoming softer and softer in appearance. He begins to feel himself warming to her.
Wyatt goes through the light and awakes in a feathery bed. A girl's voice whispers down at him, "Wyatt?"

He'll try everything from humming to chimes and harmonics, to banging his head againest the wall, once all that fails he'll run out of his room to Evan and Jessica and scream "Make it stop, the sound make it stop!"
Evan will move towards Jessica "Jess....I...um...are you..um..." Evan will squirm a bit hopefully not too noticably. "How's the trip....?"
Jessica "Thats....so weird....why...I..." she'll point at the softening field around Evan.
Wyatt "What the....whats going on?"

None of that works. When he walks outside to see Evan and Jessica, the door fails to open, as if some great force was keeping it shut.
The two stare uncomfortably, and Jess "sees" a wounded heart's defense mechanisms. Suddenly, all that which is around her is quite palpable, indeed sickeningly so; it's like too much data, too much emotional content, is pouring in.
Wyatt turns to the side and sees an incredibly beautiful blond woman, seemingly pale and fragile yet somehow with a great inner strength. All around her is canvas, canvas, canvas. Strangely enough, he recognizes this as... the attic of the Halliwell Manor. "What do you mean what's going on?" She leans over, smiling, and says, "Did I rock your world that much?" Blue bubbles float in the wind outside.

Jack will blink and stare at the door for a moment, pondering, then spin around to look behind him...if nothing's changed behind him, he'll go sit down on his bed, and take a nap.
Jessica "I..I can't take this....it to much...." Evan "Jess are you ok, let me give you a hand." Evan will reach out to comfort her.
Wyatt will beat away at his mind and think "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS CHICK!" "Where am I, this is way weird."

"Where are you? Oh, come on. You're in my apartment." She strokes Wyatt's chest. "Last night, we had some wine... you helped me paint that..." She points to something that was obviously painted drunk, yet the freedom of form benefits it, not harms it. The core is a tall man embracing a somewhat shorter blond woman, a white corona around them. She seems still a little shy, like the coyishness and playfulness is deliberately put on and very hard to get out, but still quite sincere.
Jack sees nothing has changed there, either. The window is slightly open, enough for him to squeeze through. He tries to go to sleep, but the ringing is simply constant, and now it's coming from everywhere. The concentration of going to sleep makes it worse, as he starts hearing smaller and smaller sounds from greater and greater distances. His godlike perceptions for once are a pain in the neck, as he is now hearing and feeling everything stuck in a small moment for miles around.
Jess feels every pore, then every cell, then every molecule, then every atom, then every quark; she also feels Evan's and her's bodies united with the air, with the world, with the universe itself. All of it is a great interlinking machine with only a few truths behind the myriad truths, and they are both glaringly obvious and disturbingly complex. Her instinct is to find some place to run to, to turn off the data flowing in.

Wyatt..."I...yeah! YEAH now i remember..." he'll look around wildly, and try to see if anything at all looks familar, he'll run his fingers down her back to help support the fact he's trying to look as if hes not insane. Then look at her and ask "hey...what was in that wine? I honestly can't remember a damn thing...did i hit my head?...."
Jack will scream "STOP IT! STOOOOOOP!" then rush for the window and squeeze through.
Jess would mostlikely, fight to keep herself from buckling under and vomiting from the feeling. "Kill me...oh god...let me be numb!"
Evan would let his mouth fall open at these words "...As you wish" Evan will rapture her. Send her into a place of sensory isolation. Then he'll speak into her heaven "Ill come back for you in a few minutes, i just need to check on Jack and Wyatt."

Not one thing is remotely familiar. She seems hurt. "You think I did something to you?!"
He rushes outside. He sees below him some of the cities of Twanchena. All things are stopped. In the air, an airplane's engine is seemingly stuck. Music is playing one note. Cars purr, people yell, Milky punches a rock...
As Jess falls over, she feels the causal forces that push her to do so, feels the vomit trying to come up from her stomach.
Sensory isolation does nothing: she is seeing the wonder in nothing. It is again sickeningly complex.
Do you really want to leave three drugged out people with no one to monitor them?

Not aspecially, but Ive done it irl before, oh well, the moment Jessica collaspes Evan will rush to her aid, pick her up, and bring her to her room, rest her on her bed, and sooth her if he indeed can.. maybe hold her hair back while she looses her lunch.
Wyatt "I don't mean anything by it, I just honestly can remember anything....please don't be hurt...." Wyatt will relax a moment, "Aww screw it...the joke wasn't very funny anyhow" mentally *dear god i hope i can slavage this one* He'll smile at her and reach out to her, "I really like the painting, the free flow and form really gives it life."
Jack will take this moment to let the world stop around him, try to ignore the buzz of sound, and look at himself, examine his hands, arms...maybe cut himself to see what happens then..Try to bring back or delve farther into his drug doom.

Luckily, Evan is able to get her out of sensory isolation and detect her difficulties. She finds herself able to sleep somewhat easily: though the information is mind-boggling, much of it is quite comforting, such as the bed's softness. But her dreams are that much are more incredible. She falls precipitously down plumes of color, while below her is the whole universe, unfolding. When the blood begins to fall from him, it floats in the air. He has not changed his position.
He is able to cut himself, hold his arms, and so on. Nothing is preventing change to his body.
In Evan's eyes, Wyatt stands up and says, "Where am I?"
She smiles. "Of course. We made it together."

Evan is going to use mentalic powers to monitor the where about of all three of the other memebers. And if need be join in each of there trips in a small way.
Jack will look at Milky punchin rocks "Hey...leave my rock alone boooooy!!"
Wyatt will smile back "Mind rubbing my head some more?" he gets more comfortible, and snuggles closer to her.

So will Evan respond to Wyatt?
Milky isn't moving. His fist is stopped in front of the rocks. The sound of the shards cutting through the air is also constant.
She rubs his head with a calm, soft touch. The two snuggle for some time until she looks at a grandfather clock and says, "Oh shit! We have to go!"

Nobi is gonna search for higher awareness....plane of trancendance? Mosho is kinda blindly stumbling towards the most chaotic plane he can find Furax wants to go to a mirror plane...

Spira is gonna take this drug in an attempt to reach the primordial elemental realms.

All of these drugs provide higher awareness. Does Nobi want to become one with awareness or information itself? There is the Plane of Chaos, where (among others) the Chaos Pheonix resides. The Plane of Chaos trails off and is linked to the Demon Realms (but not Hell, which is Lawful but Evil). I see that Furax wants to join Wyatt. There is a "place" from which the elements did form which might be attainable by the drug. Will anyone be babysitting you guys? Oh, and BTB, Keith: start including your Haze Magi in some of this action!

Fair enough.
The first problem Spira encounters is that he is like a rainbow in a midst of pure, white light: Since he has "gone back in time" (not precisely, but that's the closest analog) to before the elements diversified and became distinct, his own nature as an elemental being of that nature proves to be a problem. He's going to have to find some way to avoid being expelled from the realm, blowing up, causing a singularity to emerge, etc.

how about turning into the classic deus style elemental vortex?
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 11, 2006 0:20:49 GMT -5
Hmm. You might absorb a stable ball of the indistinct energy and use that as an "anchor" using that vortex. It's risky, since you're expanding your essence out further, but your self-contained god apparatus gives you a relatively stable core. Wish to try?

Evan will respond to Wyatt "Your in your room buddy, how do you feel, can i get you anything, please sit down and relax."
"When the blood begins to fall from him, it floats in the air. He has not changed his position."
pardon me? what do you mean? Blood from who?
Evan will continue soothing her.
Evan will go look for Jack with is psi, and try to rain him in.
Jack "nifty shit, I think im going to go for a swim in the clouds"
Jack will take off in fleight, he'll keep flying until something happens.

"I.... feel fine." He smiles and looks at his arm. "Excellent, in fact. If you need me, I'll be in San Francisco." He orbs away.
Jack cut his arm. Please scroll back a few pages when confused, though I should probably be better about quoting.
Jess is still suffering. She's not finding how to deal with this.
Nothing happens. At all. Yet Jack seems to become accustomed to this. Yet something besides accustomization needs to happen...
Wyatt is still in the studiom by the way.
