When we last left off, Mace and Brent launch Ultima IIIs at the magical node closest to the North Pole, and Laura fired her Angel Tears round, causing an attack similar to X-Meteor.

Do you remember what you were looking for here, for starters? Ancient spirit of some kind?

Wasn't looking for anything, the encounter was just to raise some stats and just have a challenge to fight. Though I guess I could go looking for some Burning Legion artifact for Mace. Anything of interest on the planet we know of?

Yes, you were looking for something, originally a skull of an Orc leader or something. Could you check your MSN log again? I had a really good idea and I don't want to lose it.

Since we already talked about the orc lord spirit, I'll just sum it up:
Mace's Skrine is flying through space on a gigantic axe, the Tzemke are retrieving him, Brent's U3 is still being delayed by the black claw spell, and now we're considering the idea that maybe fighting our way through isn't such a good idea. Mace will teleport the team back the CH to see about finding someone who can dimensional hop the team past the Infernal Barrier and on to the planet to get the skull.
What is the value of this skull anyway? I mean, why are we going out and getting it?

It's not actually a skull, but a spirit, and it's apparently important enough to the Burning Legion to set up a full scale blockade of a planet.
The difficulty is that now that you're here it might be harder to escape. A regular teleport might be counter-productive.

Maybe....can we make communications with the CH and make any ally roll to have someone who knows how the Infernal work, and knows something about dimensional space hopping come to us? Someone like a Dread Lord or something like that who has turned to good and joined the CH. The DSH thing may not be necessary, just someone who knows how to get in and out of the barrier.

You could try to summon an ally, yes, someone who could try to suppress the anti-magic field, provide enough bombing support to tow you out, or similar strategies. The team does not have a Dreadlord, Pit Lord, or any such thing - perhaps could be good for NPC recruitment?

Yeah. We'll call the CH with Laura's communicator and ask for assistance getting the hell out of there to regroup with a stronger team and a much better strategy.

Where we were in MSN, I believe you had tried to call in help but had your communications silenced. Now what?

The infernal barrier is only anti-magic, right?

We talked about this in MSN: It will alter the space-time power of the Avatarhood.
