Mace, wanting to learn how to become a Jedi, seeks holocrons, and also wants Dark Jedi training. He's more interested in the force powers than light saber combat.
Mace also wants to experiment with adedan crystals using cantomancy, seeing if he can enhance them in any way. Any suggestions?

I assume you're looking for a non-OGM Sith or DJ based on your request. Which one will you start with for now?

A DJ. Any good ones in mind?

Well, on the team, there's Baelstramus, Zenexoria and the Chosen One (CO isn't technically DJ or Sith). Outside of the team, they're inherently difficult to find. Mace hasn't heard of anything, but he could just explore the SWG until he gets somewhere.

Maybe go to Coruscant and head to the Jedi Temple?

Back during the Clone Wars, before Order 66.

Late Old Republic, gotcha.
Coruscant is as busy and labryinthine as it always was. Luckily, with both flight and teleportation, it's very easy to get around. The Jedi Temple is of course guarded: Which entrance wilL Mace go through?

Mace isn't planning on stealing anything. He'll pay for something, if he needs too. He's mostly considering just asking if he could study the Great Holocron in the main archives. Though there's always a chance...
Mace will go through the main entrance in the front. If there are any guards there in the front, he'll smile and ask, "Hello, would it be possible for me to check out the Great Holocron? I'm with Crashing Heavens."

They're not just concerned about theft. Droid/CIS spies, assassins, political intrigue, etc. are all valid concerns, as are the omnipresent concerns of the Sith.
Two Clone Troopers stare blankly in their Trooper armor, black blazoned for identification as a guard. "Hmmmmmmm...." It seems that CH's influence is stronger in the New Republic than the Old.

Mace turns his smile into a thin, 'Alrighty, what's the problem now?' smile and looks at the guard on the left. "It means I'm on your side. Have a thousand jedi around me, if that'll keep you satisfied, but I'm not going to take anything, kill anyone, blow anything up. The most I'll do is annoy you guys with how many questions I'll be asking."

"It's not our authority. Senatorial authority makes us keep all unauthorized visitors away."

"So who do I got to see about getting permission? The Senate?"

"Senatorial authority, the authority of a Jedi Knight or Jedi Councilperson, or a military pass."

"Where do I go to get a military pass?"

"The military authorities would need to authorize you. Now move along."
