Alright. I'll take all them and we'll teleport to the point I specified earlier.

The group teleports in. The earth rattles ominously, and from above comes a humongous war club! Brent, Jerry Krane and Quion can dodge.

Jerry will lean to the left and leap to dodge. Is it coming straight down from above or at an angle?

Straight down. Odd how that's happening.

Yeah, he'll leap to the left. He'll leap as far as he can if there's nothing obvious like a cliff or anything he's jumping into, and if there is something like a cliff, he'll just make as much a leap as needed to dodge the war club.

He'll turn incorpreal and sink deep into the ground.

Mace leaps to the side. Hurling rocks erupt and strike him, throwing him into the ravine itself! He sees glowing reddish energy down below, a massive scar of it. Meanwhile, Brent becomes incorporeal in the ground. The club does nothing to him.
Krane simply turns to the side, shifting to a sort of bluish shield explosion, and lets Thorns damage whatever is coming. Quion transforms into a tarrish-like form and slips into the ground, using Brent's power to pin the creature.
Everyone else (Hel, Laura, Felhame, Mace) gets direct damage. Luckily, Hel absorbs most of this damage.
Now that the attack is over, the attack's source is clear. Coming from below is a massive red hand, gripping a club, holding onto the land, crumbling it in its wake...

Jerry tries to grab the side of the ravine with his hands. Brent well float up from the ground and throws a paralyzing bolt of psionic energy at the hand. Laura, once she's ready to get up, will aim her hidden arm cannon at the club's handle, wanting to break it off from the heavy head so as to make it less useful. The cannon shot it just a heavy explosive round.
Mace will try and recover his senses and use the training he got from Zedd to analyze any spells that may be producing throwing clubs magically for the hand. Like when the hand throws a club, a new one appears. He's looking for that and hopes to implant a flaw in the spells structure so as to either disable the spell or cause repercussions.

OOG: Oops, called Jerry Mace.
Mace is the only one with actions before the creature (which got surprise) goes again. This change your strategy?

Well, everyone will do what I said they'd do once it is their turn. But Mace, given this chance, will use his mathematical skills to coordinate a sharply angled cantomantic energy shield, solidified and given the properties of diamond around the group. The sharp point is angled to connect where the club is most likely to come at them and will hopefully break right through the club.
