I seek the Atlantean Android, who specializes in healing, sensory spells, and pre-cognition. Actually, what's the name for someone who can see the past, present, and future? I think if Mace discovered this kind of android, he would try to build a tower with the ability to enhance the pre-cognition like in Minority Report, and allow the android to sense the affinity of anything. Totems, materia, weapons, enemies...but not strong enough yet to track down Itek.
Could help find items for us or potential allies. The android could use a Dimensional Vein System (I'll explain over MSN) to send healing spells over long distances if needed. Like, have a black mage connect themselves to the system and the android can send the BM's spell to the vein connecting to the heroes, so they can be healed directly, can call in "Air Strikes" of sorts, or just get info on enemy. Could be very helpful.
And eventually once I get Mace ready to advance into science, I could also program the android to send magical diseases to pin-point targets. Or have one programmed to destroy the android if he's ever possessed or something. Because he could be a VERY devastating weapon if captured...

Really, the latter part of this should go in a new character creation thread. The dimensional vein system seems pretty interesting, sounds like a fine concept for a unique power given the caveats I noted over MSN.
The Colossus was alongside Poen and Colin's paired android, locked away in the bowels of Ur-Katal. You were dealing with the symbolic trap (i.e. the trap having to do with symbols, not the figurative trap... I'll hush now).

What were the symbols and representations he saw while trying to figure out the language?

You had finished that and with Glenn had gotten down to fighting that demon, and were dealing with the balls of flame being sent at ya.

Mace used a Diamond Shield, I believe, to protect Laura and Brent, including himself, but I'm not sure. If he didn't, Mace will do so, and Brent will flatten himself to the ground, since he is only a bunch of symbols floating in the air and all. Laura will just rely on Mace for protection.

Would you like to continue with or without Glenn? I believe he had just attempted to use the spearcopter.

I don't mind either way, but I guess I'll do it alone.

Fine with me, or we can change the characters for this thread, or move it to the public colossi.

Let's hold a little, I think Glenn may just get Poen and then I'll write him out.

He did indeed! Now I'll write out Cisero's role. Mace's Diamond Shield takes two of the six fireballs before shattering, leaving four for Brent and Laura to deal with.

Brent will solidify his essence into a hardened, yet, malleable substance to protect himself against the attack. The spell, while having no name I'm aware of, will just be like Protect but for elemental attacks. It's ki-based.

Laura will use her built-in cooling system to cool the outer surface of her body while holding up the back of her forearms, two metal plates on them, to press together and take the brunt of the blows.

I should point out that her nano-tech virus can allow her to do a lot more: For example, alter thermal mass to make the fireball less intense and her body more able to resist being damaged.

We had completed this! The demon was defeated, unconscious, below them, and the group was recuperating. Considerations were being made as to whether to head back or trudge forward.

Being cautious, Mace will put his hand on the petrified demon and teleport him back to the cliffs of the cantomantic community. He'll deliver the demon to the guards so they can find a way to keep the demon in permanent hibernation. Part of their spells are turning things to stone, so they most likely will have a chamber to keep him in and crystallize him, find ways to rehabilitate him, and eventually release him. Mace will teleport back with CH emergency rations for the team and distribute them appropriately.

OOG: The demon turning to stone was an unconscious survival mechanism. It's NOT forever and it's NOT really stone.
