Alright, I need ideas for what I can do to get Mace as strong as possible. Goal: Become Omnipotent, maybe even OP2 like Fred has been considering.
Maybe I can get Mace into a war simulation, with him having to defend one point and fighting off masses of enemies all around. It can be based in a city built around my base. Every few days a teleporter can bring supplies in to help his units/familiars/summons/etc. in the fight. The occasional OGM joining in to add to the difficulty. There can be multiple enemy bases throughout the city that hold stockpiles of weapons/supplies/captured allies that raiding parties could go get, and fight roaming raiders. I think that would be fun.

(Note: Above post edited for double-posting. Try to avoid that in the future; instead, Modify.)
Post that concept to the War Games thread and see if anyone else wants to join in. Any ideas that fall more under the rubric of an immediate beef-up (i.e. finding artifacts or something)?

(Since I've seen you double-post, I didn't see the problem in it, but I'll remember that, sorry.)
Any quests that lead me to lost classes that follow along the trail of magic? Offensive magic, mostly.

(Yeah, I double-post for some appropriate threads, such as ones that are frequently played by multiple groups, such as Colossi, or for any update threads. When I can, I still try to edit.)
THAT is certainly possible. A Lost Class that would take advantage of his Mana Nexus abilities... Sounds like he needs to hit the books and do some research, or talk to some experts. He could possibly also strap himself to Yggdrasil like Odin did.

Wait, what about Yggdrasil? I think we need a weremagic class...I have no idea where that came from.

In Norse myth, Odin strapped himself to Yggdrasil. To quote the Wikipedia: "In the Rúnatal, a section of the Hávamál, Odin is attributed with discovering the runes. He was hung from the tree called Yggdrasill while pierced by his own spear. He hung for nine days and nights, in order to learn the wisdom that would give him power in the nine worlds. Nine is a significant number in Norse magical practice (there were, for example, nine realms of existence), thereby learning nine (later eighteen) magical songs and eighteen magical runes."

Sure, I could do that.

How will Mace replicate the feat?

Does Yggdrasil still exist? And if so, does the CH know where it is? If not, what about strapping myself to something just as strong? Maybe the Threshold that Boaz bound?
Maybe have someone replicate/clone my midi-chlorians? Turn me into a Midan vampire (or first generation, whatever we feel like calling them)?

Yes, and everyone knows where Yggdrasil is. Yggdrasil is a Worldtree that helps keep a number of dimensions stable and leads to many places, so its roots are filled with ancient goings-on and wisdom.
The problem with the concept of cloning midichlorians is a few fold. First of all, no one knows whether midichlorians are only a SYMPTOM of advanced Force manipulation or a CAUSAL factor (i.e. are the midichlorians there because someone has Force power or does someone have Force power because they have midichlorians); second, no one is sure as to whether adding more midichlorians actually increases force power; third, it is canonically quite clear that midichlorians at best only provide potential, not control or actual potency.
As far as a Midan vampire, THAT may be possible. The Empire pioneered a program of supertroopers, one of which was the CJP Stormtrooper (Counter-Jedi Protocol).

Alrighty, I'll strap Mace to Yggdrasil. And by the way, everyone has midi-chlorians. For without them, life simply can't exist. The more the merrier your potential is. And the more potential, the better.
Would Mace be obligated to work for the Empire? And what about a past life as an Atlantean scientist, who drank a concoction that whenever he grew old and passed on, he burned and was reborn from his ashes as a younger version of himself, though still having the knowledge from his previous life and continuing on with his research. Maybe about 3000 years of life maybe before the concoction stopped working...? Possibly one that specializes in magical diseases and Mace can help eliminate some of the more vile races of the galaxy who threaten the CH. Could work on a telepathic level between certain branches of vampires who are part of an organization or something...

I'm aware everyone has Midichlorians. Speaking more generally, virtually all objects, especially organic ones, are charged with slight amounts of positive Psi, Ki, Magic and Tech, and disrupting any of them can kill someone.
To pin himself appropriately, Mace will probably need to find runic nails to pin him up then find a way to pin himself.
The Empire is destroyed so that's a practical impossibility. Imperial troopers in the post-Rebel days trying to keep the Emperor's dream alive would often hide labs in Rebel-strong locations, hide where no one would look.
I suppose, but I'd prefer you not rewrite backstory to get abilities over and over. I would be cool with it if you got Positive Trait Tabs or spent your Traits on that (you got 10 from the Dark Tournament, maybe 3 or 4 Trait points on Powerful Past Lives).

Alrighty. So maybe start a quest to find runic nails? Like, go to the CH and ask for a runesmith?

Mace will go to the CH and go see Spira.

Spira is busily zooming around an obstacle course, making impossibly (literally) precise turns with his robot body emitting a constant stream of green jets, incredibly minute differences determining the variable velocity, his long curving plain scythe gathering the energy and velocity and devastating puppet obstacles while keeping "innocent" obstacles unharmed. All the while, he whoops and hollers.

"HEY!" Mace hollers, "Spira, I need to talk with you! Got a job."

Mace acts as if physically struck and his eyes widen. Mace turns his smile into a flat line. He wonders how long Spira usually keeps this up and wonders if he can wait that long.
