ok, take a look at our new charachter sheet 3.6, got some new things on there that should prove usefull for you getting your char under way...
and sinse you chose reaver, you can wear up to chain armor and use large sized shields, you also get the skills sprint, intercept ( to 'take a bullet' for a party member), and tireless (so you regenarate endurance much faster)
and since your level one you get one skill point in all of your stuff, which gives you
Soulrending: Vigor Siphon (life drain, 70% chance of sucking life from target when you make a successful hit) Spirit Wrench ( a damage over time or DoT, its instant cast)
you get weapon styles if you have 2 points in any of your weapons (fyi, flexable weapons mean you have skill with whips/flails)
and the ++ and -- means that you get a 25%bonus per + and a 25% debuff per - and the only skill cap you have is the skill level can't go over the levels, and you have 600 stat points to spend

...So what level are we? Because if I'm level 1 then I can't spend anything. And what equipment will we start with? I want a massive ball and chain and a tower shield.

well you can get a large tower shield( large for a large creature so essentially a huge tower shield) and yes, you are lvl 1 and can you put next to all your skills a little 1 so we can track your progress easyer (and its not flexable shield, its flexable, and then shield) and a ball and chain? sure thing, i got no problems with that it has a +1 to soulrending and +1 to flexable...
and your magic resistance is massive, bring it down to 0 unless you have some sort of chain clothing that ups your magic resistance and your armor factor is also, quite large, for starting oiut chain armor without any bonuses each piece of equipment is like +2 to +3 to AF with a 5% absorption factor (dont worry about it)...at level one anyway

You should note AF and MR aren't boostable by points. All altered, so then what do I do with the 30 points? Spend them as I level up?

30 extra stat points? put them into your stats, you'll get more stat points as you level up and that AF is HUGE i just made a character, look at him and see what your af should actually be, or near what your af should acutally be
and intercept and tireless arent things you can put points into, they're just skills you get at level one

Further lowered. I mean the skill points.

no, you dont use skill points at first level because if you could, then you could go over the level cap, and i'm sorry, nope only enhancement bonuses can go over the level cap, but that doesn't mean that you actually have that level it just means that your use with the weapon or the way you wield your spells is better, as if it would be those levels above
APPROVED
now i'll have you chose one of three places to start out (there is no real difference) Anniogel, Caifelle, or Gothwaite Harbor

So then when we get the levelup, do we have 30 stored skill levels that we'll want to budget over time?
Gothwaite Harbor.

no no no, that 30 skill point thing, that was just an example of the skill point system(besides, since your a support class you get 3 skill points to use per level... i think that was said under the HUGE letters)
and you level up, when i say you do

Ah, okay, coolio then.
So start me up, captain!

well, i WOULD, but i'm stuck between choices... put you in a private campaign to start you on your own quest and meet up with others if that possibly happens, or start multiple characters on one public campaign
i dont want you in a private because then you might become much more powerful than the others
and i dont want a public because then one person may become inactive and that'll throw us all off
screw it! if your overpowered.... they'll just join you soon enough, so private campaigns it is

Yeah, there's no problem with rewarding activity.

I added the 8 stat points (to Quickness) and a skill point to Soulrending and Crush.
I'd like some options for equipment, since I noted Ash had some good equipment. What could a Reaver with my level of funding, stats, etc. wear? Since I don't have any other equipment, can I get some enchantment to my tower shields?

your only level two, sorry though later on enchanters CAN enchant your stuff, they just need equipment they can work with, equipment thats way too expensive for a lower level characer, and you can't put points into tireless and intercept, please get rid of the (1)'s there
oh, and by the way... you have one more skill point to spend
Crushing weapon Daze (does extra damage but costs more endurance)
Soulrending Bashing aura (damage aura that pulses pain and damage to all immediate enemys in area)

Then sign me up for some ragged equipment all around! I spent the last one on Flexible.

and for flexible weapons...
Blacksnake (raises damage at cost of more endurance)
