Where Mephiasu (and possibly Sandro) can eliminate those genocidal maniacs who believe in killing sentient beings just because their flesh is rotting and they are unsightly.

mephiasu will work his way from the bottom to the top working off his undercity contacts (the scarlet crusade is actually not that hard to find and the forsakens intelligence is very, very good).

Well, in this climate, there are very few who are overt and alive. And starting literally from the bottom would be to slaughter some Normals . I suppose you could destroy a training camp, though, that may hav someone who can at least try to give you a challenge. Your contact asks to meet you underwater in the undercity. Will Mephiasu bring anyone along?

No problem. This contact is a long-limbed Undead given to a long drawl and the finer things. He's one of the few contacts Mephiasu could easily retain given his new access to said finer things.
As Mephiasu enters the undercity, people stare at him. Some raise cups or nod, some simply look away uncomfortably, and some openly snarl. One Orc warrior comes close to blows but backs away at the urging of his Troll companion.

Mephiasu nods at the friendly ones and glares at the orc who threatens him he walks past all of them and to the water that circles the undercity bank, jumps in said water and mentally informs his contact of his arrival.

The contact immediately comes along. He procures a cigar. "Mephiasu! I did not even believe it was you, that is why I chose this place to meet to clear for an imposter..." Mephiasu notices that there is an obvious bulge in his tweed suit pocket. His entire attire of course does not remotely stain in the water, and he speaks and "breathes" easily. "You are still rather persona non grata, I fear."

"What do you mean unaccetable and I thought this was my home nation" mephiasu replies motioning around to undercity. He continues "I dont think you can send me any more home than this for I am here".

"You were sealed for a reason, Mephiasu. Many still fear you, and now that you are freed, allied with the Rangers, and far stronger, fear may transmute itself to hate by the order of things."

"however i still do not see why that has to do with you giving me information about the scarlet crusade" mephiasu will say wanting to get to the reason he came here.

"I am trying to explain why I may not be able to give you as much assistance as I would like to, and why you may detect a decided cold shoulder. Now: I have compiled all the intelligence the Horde and other organizations have that my various agents could acquire. I have a scroll, but..." He seems to be both hesistant and gleeful.

It appears Mephiasu is correct. "I hate to do this, but this must unfortunately be a quid pro quo of some kind. I provide you something from my organization, the Horde, I think it not unreasonable to expect a reciprocal contribution..."

mephiasu will make a small sign before saying "of course its not unreasonable how much do you need old friend?"

"well as you know people of my profession excel at ubtaining those to that you speak of I can obtain whatever it is you seek or better yet how about this offer you give me the information I seek and I will get you the high scarlet officers blade the ashbringer" mephiasu will say hoping to spark his interest, he will then continue on "its a rare blade that im sure many of the horde would love to get there hands on".

The contact thinks. "...I was thinking something from Crashing Heavens, as that is the most unique resource you have to offer me. I could sell a product of Mauler, or Zeradin, or others for quite a lot just for collector's value. And you also have information I could use..."

The contact is coy. He clearly wants Mephiasu to offer something so he can gauge what is there. "I want an item from your technologists and artificers, and some information of yours..."

OOG: what information does mephiasu have that he thinks this man might be interested also if you can tell me what we might have item wise that he would want.

OOG: Check out the Unclaimed Loot thread, cotgrpg.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=cotggroupresources&action=display&thread=1143331116. In addition, Mauler can forge powerful technological or mystical items with his Cosmic Forge; Zeradin can create biological weapons, armor, or other genetic constructs; Yayoi can make Caster Shells; Archeus and Duuz can forge and design technological and scientific items and apparatuses... You'll have to repay the team for items you take or get made for you, but that shouldn't be too hard with Mephiasu's roguishness. Speaking of, want a thread for Mephiasu to steal and hunt for items for the team? Information wise, the team's knowledge about Itek might be juicy AND get some allies from the Horde...

mephiasu will say to the man "I have knowledge of the itek woman that you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else" mephiasu will wait and gague the mans reaction, "as for items I might be able to get you something".

The man raises an eyebrow. "Itek?" Now his attention is caught. "I can pass anything along, weapons, armor, guns, vehicles, mounts, scrolls, potions, ammo..."

Mephiasu returned with scrolls, a book that Ash has a spare of (complete with his invaluable crib notes) and some data about Itek. "Ah. This is more than I anticipated. If you keep funneling me information and items like this, I can promise that your former exalted position in the Horde will be eclipsed by your new contributions. After all, you could very well become viewed as the Martyr to the Burning Legion, as your sealing kept Bennerax off our backs. Now. I have two pieces of information for you in exchange for these boons.
First: There is a Scarlet Crusader camp that the Horde and some Alliance volunteers, among others, have been seeking out. They kidnap the young of many races, mostly of shamanic or priestly lineage and blood, and turn them through a process of what they would call discipline and holy instruction and what is commonly called brainwashing or indoctrination by those of us with civilized taste and values." [Mephiasu undoubtedly notes the irony of this particular contact calling himself civilized.] "I believe that only someone who can cloak themselves like you can will be able to find it. We know that the camp is hidden in Northrend.
Second: There was an Orcish Blademaster who retired to contemplate the wind and achieve a new level of enlightenment, something he rumored could be used to make the Blademaster a greater contributor to our alliance. However, he has no returned from Deadwind Pass."

Mephiasu will say with certainty "thank you this information will be rather useful" he will then turn to leave and head towards northrend looking for the area disguised as a scarlet crusade officer (I hope they havent changed there uniform over the last few thousand millenia).

It actually hasn't been that long in time vis-a-vis the Horde conflict, it may only have been a decade and a half. The relativistic effects of being inside the Maelstrom extended Mephiasu's imprisonment. However, it is likely that they have acquired new uniforms or means of identification. Further, it appears that to even get into the base will require something else...

Mephiasu will check crashing heavens database to see if he can find out there new uniform or what else he might need to get in. If he cannot then he will ask around on the team see if anyone has had any dealings with the scarlet crusade as of late. Starting with Ta'zo (sp?) and the other troll who's name I cannot remember for the life of me.

Jangadan.
The problem is that there is no certainty. However, the computer does attempt an extrapolation. Noting that organizations like the Scarlet want to keep certain color patterns and insignia, it retains the color and hidden Scarlet Crusader symbols. However, it assumes that there will be both a base regalia for interaction with known cells and cellmates and a civilian regalia to go to and from meetings. It assumes that all Scarlet Crusader members will have a fourth symbol, an amalgam of previous symbols but new so that casual interlopers cannot use commonly-known data. It produces a few options, the one it feels most likely to be used being a combination of the Scarlet's Symbol of the Light combined with the Bloody L. That will be used as an identifier. In addition, the base regalia is a more subdued red, light enough to possibly be white and therefore quickly gain cover and camoflage. The computer produces two sets of clothes in accordance with the expected parameters. Of course, Mephiasu will need to gain a powerful disguise that masks him as human as well, both in appearance and in aura.
Jangadan just shakes his head when questioned. "I've been wit' Epitaph an' CH too long, mon."
Ta'zo just cackles. "Ther' were some red men. I burnt em. Some more of them wer' in that Rathi place."
