Where the hunt for Voracio can continue!
Last we left off, the group (Gluttony, Cisero, Felhame, Barney) were rushing into the Bone Eater Tournament. They had just met Voracio who was using his acid form to move past other demons and get into the tournament. They had to figure out a way to carve a path in and get onto his six man team...

Ok, Cisero uses his spear like a pole vault, I think Gluttony can use similar tactics that Voracio used to get through, and Barney is the NPC. I guess gluttony is too.

Sorry, I hadn't updated this. Cisero had miraculously leapt forward, jumping off many demons, skewering others. His Vile Dowsing lets him find a way through.
Barney fires his Garand into the air, and amazingly demons bolt away from him. Coming from behind him ninety-eight more arms appear, which begin to power forward with daggers, blasting aside demons.
Gluttony utters a horrific belch, releasing noxious fumes and a sonic attack that makes his foes collapse.
The group has crossed 70% of the space. There's one demon in their path who is actually neck and neck with them, a creature with straight sharp blades sticking out of his grayish-yellow skin and a long craning neck.

[Long neck=good for biting{it isn't vulnerable.]
Cisero takes a few jabs on any legs it might have, anything to decrease his mobility, also looking to try and find a weakness on the beasts neck.

Barney goes before them. He riddles the creature's spine over and over with blades, dropping it instantly. Cisero can now go.

O.o Ok. Cisero makes a break for the arena, jumping and floating rather than running, sometimes whacking a demon or some monster with his spear as he passes.

That wasn't an option, was it, ass? Last we left: You had planned on doing the Triple Tech. Want Felhame involved to make it a Quadruple Tech? Any plans on using your DIO elements such as the Tzemke or Red Shadow Ninja? [FN: 300!]

Then we need to work that out, since it is a vital part of character strategy. Basically, it's the sum total of your familiars, pets, vehicles, weaponss, abilities, or what not that give you an extra turn. So if someone has a dancing dagger, an ability that deploys every turn with a new unique effect, a bat familiar, and a dog, it'd go like this:
Som E. One Dog Bat Dancing Dagger Fire Effect
You at least have the Red Shadow Ninja and Tzemke Hive, since those are Communal.
Red Shadow Ninja: Master of creating and controlling new types of shadows (such as potential shadows or where a shadow will eventually be, red shadows, etc.), can do Jutsus that pin someone with these shadows the vast majority of targets are not aware of, infiltration and other ninja/rogue/thief skills, can assist in virtually all abilities characters can do especially with Ninja Jutsus or other abilities within his skill set, also can independently do Red Shadow Replications Tzemke Hive: Insectoid race, *Sonar Tzemke (assistants to the Diggers) *Manwalker Tzemke *Digger Tzemke *Fireflying Tzemke *Med-Bugs Tzemke (white and red bugs *Worm Squad Tzemke *Node Bugs Tzemke (smaller information gatherers and processors) *Carrier Bugs Tzemke *Turret Bugs Tzemke *Morphoplasms Tzemke (accomplish other jobs) *Scoutbugs Tzemke *Stardoom Tzemke
Aside from that: Cid may give the Highwind, and you'd have an X-Wing swarm from Wedge and Luke. Fred can give a familiar or auto-attacking item, and whatever you've earned or create during character play could have something (say, your spear could be enchanted for it). So your initial DIO probably will go:
Cisero Red Shadow Ninja Highwind X-Wing Swarm Tzemke Hive
Any ideas for what Felhame to do? I can send you his current sheet in your PM inbox.

Unfortunately, I have a few more ideas for cisero.
Cherry blossom (Spear) basically using the spear in an attack that uses the environment as a suplpement for speed (i.e. Smashing the ground to launch him towards the enemy, then taking about twenty jabs at it to stop him from moving forward, then a backward swipe that damages the enemy but more pushes to sent Cisero flying back to hit the wall.
Hyanzo-Summoning small ki dragons from his spear that deal spiritual damage as well as the physical damage taken from the spear thrusts.
Earth divide-Slamming the spear in the ground, it instantly begins syphoning the energy from the earth into it and if Cisero touches it, him as well. The purpose? Either a powerful healing spell, a way to cut off an earth elementals limitless power source and it also kills the earth around and can be used as a buff. Possibly covers the spear in mega dense earth to be used as a limit break type thing?
Spearcopter-Do the whole spinning it in front of me to the point where atoms are being split as Cisero spins it in front of him, blowign the explosions towards his target
Lo and Behold (FROM LEGEND OF MANA-PS1)- LEaps into the air reeeeeal high, then throws the spear from the heavens to slam into the enemy via vile dowsing and then land on the enemy with a kick or punch attack.
Thats it for now. Dude, Voracio should have a similar light void attack like poen. where he makes the guys body part shadow and then shines a beam of light though it.

Not sure why Voracio would have that, and you should Ctrl-C that into your Character Creation thread.
So what should Felhame do, and what should your DIO elements do?

I'm thinking this is how the quad tech should stack
Red Shadow Ninja Highwind Tzemke (attacking variety) Pestilence
If that isn't what you wanted, I've prepared a backup. Voracio uses that weird string thing that he used on me, then Gluttony does some kind of toxic belch that I guess would either cause poinson or at least lower resistance. I want Barney to stick to what he does best. Cisero should use Cherry Blossom (spear). I just think that at this point thousand spear strike would be ineffective, and if he uses that tech, he won't have to really breathe in the toxic fumes. As far as Felhame, he really seems like a guy who wouldn't really credit my suggestions anyway. If you need a suggestion, without knowing much about him I'll go through my list on needs right now. 1. Mad Buffs 2. area damage 3. small area damage 4. fast single-target damage 5. a cheerleader.

...Pestilence? Who's Pestilence? Do you mean Gluttony? That's not what I mean. What do the RSN, Highwind, Tzemke and "Pestilence" DO in this quad tech? What weird string thing? Magic Net...? His primary powers are to turn into acid, absorb opposing bio-masses, consume mass amounts of food or inanimates and derive energy from them, move at sonic speed, cast a variety of spells (unique and standard), turning into an intangible draining form, expelling cold blasts (and other energy blasts but his cold is especially potent; he must eat a lot and only can digest when he turns into acid or if the food is cold). Felhame actually would listen to your suggestions. Pranax wouldn't. Right now Pranax is in Prominence, but Felhame curtails his more annoying characteristics. ...So you're not going to do a Quadruple Tech. Are you getting the plan I'm talking about here?

Problem is I still don't have enough data. Cherry Blossom on what targets (focused on a few, maybe, or all equally?) Barney does plenty best: Roguing, stabbing, shooting... Pranax can buff, I suppose. We talked about something on the phone: Wish to keep working on it?

to your last question yes and to your first, to all enemies.

Well, we'll work on it on the phone, but unless the Cherry Blossom is integrated into the Quad Tech the former and the latter are contradictory questions

Why not, lets put cherry blossonm into the quad tech.

So: So far it appears that Ten Thousand Spear Rose is having lightsaber blades added to it. If Pranax Mimicked you at the exact same time, you could get two clashing roses; alternatively, he could throw large balls filled with propellant everywhere, that you would strike and thus release, combining your velocity with spewing water and air. If you wanted something REALLY powerful, he could put a Disintegrating Spiral into the center of your spear push, using Chosen One's lightsaber/Force power as a combination. Voracio could go onto your spear, making your spear attack covered with his acid form, making it mass punching, then rocketing off with the last blow into the enemies with accumulated power.

Continuing where we left off.
The jedi guardians form a triangle around the Chosen One, lightsabers drawn and activated. They gather the force around them, mumbling requests from the force as their skin bristled with life energy.
Reed Richard's robots create a triangle around chosen to complete the shape to a circle. They drew in the force around them and threw their hands out, firing energy blasts at the jaw and anything else that came close, their loyalty to their master unwaverable. If the jaw roars as they shoot it, I would like the ship to lift off the ground just enough to fire a few concussion missiles into it's mouth.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 22, 2007 22:54:29 GMT -5
As noted before: The blasts from Reed's robots blast the jaw backwards, tearing holes into it and delivering a brutal blow. The Reed robots get two more actions, the Jedi Guard one. The jaw doesn't open it.

|
|
Post by zeebedee on Mar 26, 2007 16:44:48 GMT -5
Have the robots gather electricity and discharge it at the jaw to try and paralyze it, and have the jedi guardians try and pry the jaw open like an oyster with their lightsabers
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 26, 2007 22:29:09 GMT -5
The electricity arks around the heavy bone of the jaw, seeming not to stun it. The jaw opens its mouth selectively, sucking in the lightsabers and snapping them in half. However, the crystals seem to explode inside of it, making its mouth smoke. The Jedi Guard have another action, Reed Robots still have one more.

I'll have the jedi guards force push the creature into the ground, and the reed robots latch on and self destruct. Of course, any shrapranel will be force pushed back into the creature :)

The conjunction of force telekinesis and traditional explosives seal the jaw's fate, as it is brought to total unconsciousness immediately. (Had the Chosen One not been an acolyte of the Light Side, the creature would have died).
Now that the woman has been revealed, she decides clearly to go for an illusion. Projections of her begin appearing haphazardly, clustering most prominently where she is making targeting difficult. Some of the images are protecting the remaining allies (the cycloned needle demon and the demon mist ninja), making it hard to target them. These images settle in and bash away at all of the team [FN: 183, 90]. Dame Insurmountable, for whom these attacks are merely an annoyance, adds, "These will do some damage! Be cautious!" Does anyone bother to respond? (Of your characters; Pranax, Voracio, Gluttony and Barney all have ways to mitigate enough damage not to want to respond, fearing a trap).
