RegiOmega Mark II. Think of a dragon with no head, and mythril armor naturally grown on his body. Created by me for you. I know, I'm a giver. Really.

Steelix is Binding the creature, trying to begin to work it down through slow manipulation of its joints, but more importantly setting itself up so that it can perform two functions. First, its grappling will combine with Hitmonchan's skills to begin to use grappling, wrestling, locking and throwing techniques against the RegiOmega, thereby turning its superior weight and durability against it. Second, the Steelix is slowly amassing a great resonance, turning itself into a carrier for sound waves.
Randy is issuing something almost like orders, but they amazingly sound like suggestions. She apparently has some experience dealing with a variety of independent, skilled Pokemon trainers. "All right, listen metal fans. To rock this piece of crap, we need to turn its power against it. Takeshi! Try getting your Hitmonchan to grapple with it, it doesn't have enough punch to just strike. Ruben! If you can, try to get it in the chest with something strong, same spot I hit it. Then distract its fire since you're probably the fastest here." (When I know who else is fighting, I'll offer more suggestions - Fred).

Each seem to coordinate with Fred. The Hitmonchan leaps at RegiOmega, grappling with it while Eevee uses skull bash against the spot, using agility to quicken it's movements.
However, if this fight were easy...you would have not been fighting so long....
A sudden massive explosion causes Steelix to fly back agaisnt the barrier and hitmonchan to roll to his eventual stop on the ground. The RegiOmega's vents sear hot gas and some unknown smoke and then close up again, it's core seeming to quickly rebuild itself. It lets out a cry and starts charging up again, the light of the energy accenting the ghoulish appearance of it's rapidly reconstructing central area.

Steelix slowly and painfully gets back up in response to Randy's insistent urging. "Discharge the sound, now!" She has the Steelix rush again at the same spot that has been attacked, attempting to discharge sound into the energy core directly.

The Steelix charges and discharges the sound waves. The powerful inner core waned for a moment...then faded.
RegiOmega Mark III Defeated!

A shitload of experience, another revive, and because you beat it within one page, a speed bonus for all pokemon involved. Also, as per usual, an item of your choosing as long as it isn't a colt (horse OR gun)

I want something that the Steelix can equip to amplify its sound powers.

I can't see what would do that. Perhaps a salve that would lubricate the junctures of the rocks?

I was thinking basically an amp that it'd strap on.

i'd like a comic relief character to follow me and be... a comic relief character, maybe a no talent singer, or a cowardly theif , or maybe even a midget with height issues
