All of you are gathered in the massive colleseum, thousands of people lining the stands and cheering their hearts out. "The champions of pokemon, these five trainers have accepted a battle we'd all not sooner forget!" Suddenly a pokemon walks through the closed iron gates, it's body assembling and dissasembling to do so and morphs into a sleek dark caste form. Pokedex data-communal from Fred. Deoxys- A supernatural being capable of instantaneous morphing and massive destruction. Four forms recorded in Pokedex. Attack form Defense form Speed form ? form All forms put most of their points into their specialized stat and have psychotically weaker attributes. Current form-Speed

well, seeing as my pokemon is smarter than me by a few hundered I.Q.... i believe Chulu is able to make his own decisions in battle, just alert him when there is a danger that is unforseen ( mostly to save time from having to post my actions)

Randy smiles and fingers her newest Pokeball. So: It's a Deoxys. Probably a new shape, better be ready for it. Right now, though, it's a speedster... So I think my webs should surprise it and hurt it quite a bit. She throws out her new Spinarak, making sure to keep a careful eye on it so it doesn't bolt. "Okay, Spinarak, I know this is a hard first battle, but I promise if you just hold on we'll come out of this okay and then I'll make sure to get you all the bugs you can eat. Show me what you do to a fast-flying prey!" Spinarak is undoubtedly slow to respond, but she hopes that it will spread the webs thinly and quickly so that the expected fast motions of the Deoxys run through the flame and the webs at high speed and therefore either cut it or cause it to suddenly stop like a clothesline against a track runner. She also hopes the Spinarak is smart enough to erect the webs in such a pattern that there is an even and mutually reinforcing distribution of heat so that the Deoxys begins to suffer burns irrespective of its location.

Thunderbolts rain down from above a central location in the sky, however none seem to connect with Deoxys. Hitmonchan however, lands a glancing blow with his thunderpunch. The crature was moving at such a high speed that it spun out of control into Spinaraks web, which for some reason Fred decided should be on fire. The burns hardly affect the Deoxys, and after a moment of seeing it on the ground the team sees it wrapping tetnacles around Hitmonchan. It boosts up from the ground, high into the air and plummets downward, letting go of the hitmonchan at the last moment, causing it to land harshly on the ground. Deoxys itself hit the ground running for the Spinarak.

now, i'd hope that maybe i can use confusion or hypnotize to make the enemy think that there are multiple spinarak, and if not, try to telekenesis trip it or some such

Randy orders the Spinarak to leap into the air, blasting as much flaming web as it can. By firing it in a spiral pattern, it hopes to get the Deoxys to step itself up into flaming web as well as keep itself away from the charging Deoxys, hopefully using that to trip and hurl it.

The Deoxys gets confused, trips at the high speed it was charging, and flails about as it rolls on the ground. Dust whipped up into the air, and when it settled, the pokemon seemed to be completely different. It had long, thick arms that were planted to the ground and a thick impenitrable hide. It roared and began launching random balls of energy everywhere.

Randy was aghast. A new form of Deoxys? Not good. Spinarak now goes into full defensive measures. Scuttling around as quickly as its arachnid self can handle, it uses its webs to propel itself ala Tarzan, form impromptu shields, and use the flame to keep Deoxys' aim from it. Randy yells, "Spinarak! Keep up the defense until it lets down its guard!"

if Chulu is sure one of his allies is going to be hit by even a single ball, he'll teleport over to the ally and teleport them to a safe location

One of the energy balls slams into the small pichu and cause it to faint almost instantly. Another scathes hitmonchan's chest right as Chulu teleported it away. Spinarak seems to be the only one that managed to avoid them all.
Deoxys' arms open up to reveal small gleaming eyes that erupt colored lazers that pan around the room. Each one eventually finds Spinarak [lock on] and follows it wherever it goes, not removed by teleporting it or returning it to your pokeball (a bad idea, btw). another glasslike eye, bigger than the rest manifests on the creatures stomach, and suddenly the mana in the area is ripped from the air, coalescing around the eye.

Randy tells the Spinarak, "Try to repel the balls!" Continuing to leap around, Randy tells the Spinarak to form webs with its fire that function as giant catcher's mitts, then pulling back on them to throw the balls backwards. If the balls will rip through the web, the Spinarak can just disconnect from it and fall to the ground.

A massive beam erupts from the massive central eye and sears through the spinarak, a flimsy last second suboncious barrier the only thing from keeping it vaporized, but it's fainted, bro.

OOG: Well, at least now the balls won't kill it inside the thing... Do we have "summoning sickness" like in the games?
Randy growls. "Go, Steelix!" She recalls the Spinarak then throws out Steelix.
