Have you ever sat at your desk, gameboy out playing pokemon, and something just doesnt seem right? A level 100 Charizard misses a level 3 Rattatta with Fire Blast, and recieves DAMAGE from a tackle?
Ever look at the show and wonder WHY Ash's pikachu can kill a golem with a "thundershock"?
Ever wanted to become a gym leader? An Elite Four Member? A pokemon master? Even a member of Team Rocket?
Now is your chance. A glorious collab between Esura and myself has enabled YOU, the rper, to finally have a charizard with sky attack, and at level 100, the ability to squish or eat low level pokemon for bonuses. The pokemon creation process is quick and easy. Choose the version of the game (Esura's campaign or mine) you want and either IM or post on character creation the pokemon you were thinking of using. Pending our approval, it may be used.
A new addition to the mindless trainer game, you may select one pokemon as your "best". What is this you may ask? Refer to Ash's pikachu. Pumped up stats, stays out of pokeball and contributes to storylines, and is badass when in battle to some degree.
Example. Blaziken. A truely kickass character, no pun intended. Want it to know more than four moves, be unhindered by game mechanics, be able to use it's pokedex heralded jumping skill to say, get off a focus punch or to kick someone higher in the air? It can be done.
There are no rules or statistics to the game other than what Esura and I apply to them.
You cannot start out as a gym leader or elite four member, you must be approved by one of us.
Elite Four: Just like the game, can't get in until you prove it. You'll get in by password only. Believe us, guys and girls, you want this.
Trainer battles-ah, the infamous trainer battle. Any two trainers can hit it off, to be judged by gym leaders, elite four members and us, of course. Fred can also step in if noone else is available. Upon winning or losing a battle, your pokemon also get special powers and abilities.
Oh, smething I should have mentioned before.
Pokemon is a realistic game set around unrealistic settings. How can Mew be found in South Africa when there is no south africa on that world? Anyways, no forgetting moves. Pokemon like machop and makuhita will automatically know base level normal moves like tackle, take down, karate chop, bite, etc. But Machop's bite isnt as powerful as say, a gyarados's. And Machop has to train with a fighter to learn other moves quickly and battle to learn other things.
A Charizard's arm attack wont be as strong, a Geodude will be more accurate with rock throw than an Onix, etc.
Just create your character, choose your pokemon (ALL pokemon can be looked through at serebii.net/pokedex-rs/ so choose wisely.
One more thing. No fourth gen (Pearl and Diamond) pokemon, please. And don't choose a one of a kind pokemon unless you're a REAL good friend-we wanna give you the chance to catch one
That's all I got. Esura will add anything if needed.
