Any Questions about the game itself can be answered through the Q&A portion of the boards. This basically entails it all. The trainer you choose doesn't really matter, but it must be original to you. This is more where we soften out issues with which pokemon you want to use. We're going to start out with one, because Esura and I are just starting this.
Esura and I are partners in crime, but until he's up to speed, you can note me or post on the Q&A thread if you need information.
Thanks much, Zeebedee

i like that idea... it seems inovative, but you'd be suseptable to being captured as a pokemon too

I'm not sure about that. It's not magic that makes a Pokeball trap Pokemon. Pokemon are just organisms. I'm sure a Pokeball could capture a human being. The fact that it can capture Mew and Mewtwo, both of whom are sentient beings, and other Legendaries, would seem to support this hypothesis. Rather, what protects trainers is a code of ethics and I suppose some sort of technology that prevents a Pokeball, even a Master Ball, from trapping a trainer OR his Pokemon. The code of ethics is the same thing that keeps a trainer who has beaten you, say in the wild, from robbing you blind, taking your Pokeballs, beating you up, or killing you.

but what about in that one pokemon movie, those master balls took the already in use pokemon... and i'm sure that someone somewhere got thier ass handed to them through human fists...
i mean, i dont think the Japanese ash would just murder the trainers after the battles, i might if i didn't want them retelling the story of how i beat them

To answer your questions: 1) You cannot play as a pokemon unless Fred would open up a new thread for people playing as pokemon-meaning you can't (YET) interact within the stories, unless through Trainer battles thread. 2) You can use a Marowak, however you'll need to keep his violence against humans to a reactionary state. Unwritten rules apply within here, and if a Trainer begins to attack another trainer it would be ok, but if he engages through pokemon the Marowak would only be able to pwn the other pokemon. 3) I would LOVE to have a Marowak trainer BTW, I think he is a cool pokemon. You could have a crass trainer to go with it and suit it's abrasive personality. 4)Wouldn't everyone wanna catch each other....sounds nice, but that's a slippery slope I don't wanna go down yet XP

well it's kinda oxymoronic to be a poke'mon and poke'mon trainer at the same time, i was refering to being more like meowth to team rocket than mewtwo in the first movie, i just wander about bonemeranging trainers who try to capture me perhaps traveling with a few humans who managed to earn my trust

You know what to do, then ^^
Also, I was hoping to request someone do a FF12-ish rp. I've always loved the whole "Rebellion-against-the-empire-as-a-small-group-and-become-so-strong-that-guards-that-have-trained-their-whole-lives-are-beaten-by-my-thirteen-hours-of-training" kinda thing.

My next boss fight is lvl 30.
I'M LEVEL FUCKING 60! <Edit: I'm level 65> I circumvented the story arc and got the BEST WEAPON IN THE GAME before I was even supposed to.
XDXDXD I filled up the liscense board. I have the best armor in the game. I have over half the summons when I'm supposed to have like, two.
It's fun.
