Style Type: Ninjutsu
Availability: Universal
Requirements: The user must be able to form clones that can attack such as the elemental village clones or shadow clones; genjutsu bunshins such as the standard clone and mud clones as well as the beast clones of the Inuzuka Clan are inapplicable to this style. The user also requires some sort of instrument unless they are a Sound ninjutsu or elemental specialist, in which case they have enough experience with sound that they can make the necessary changes in pitch and tone with voice inflection alone.
Style Description: Though often viewed as complex by those who have never used, the "Bard's Ninjutsu" is actually quite simple. Bunshin are simply mindless bodies that carry out their creator's commands. These commands are given by some sort of chakra link between the clone and the user, an almost subconscious system like that of blinking. This style, in addition to using these universal signals, expands into giving additional commands for more complex attacks. These commands are given through the notes of music. The commands require no ability to manipulate sound, however, simply the ability to charge chakra into the hands or mouth and the ability to play an instrument. The chakra charged notes then resonate with the target clone or clones, each note carrying a different chakra command.
Special Note: A jutsu with a number next to it requires all jutsu of the same sequence in order to learn it. For example, a character can not learn Ballad of the Clones IV without learning Ballad of the Clones I, II, and III.
