Okay,I don't know how all of you will like this, but stick with me on it, okay?
I'm assuming that most of you have seen X-Men 3 already, right? Well, if you haven't, I'll tell you. Professor Xavier classifies Jean Grey as a Class 5 mutant, and apparently, that's pretty high-level.
Now, what I'm doing for my game is basing character levels on that kind of thinking. Depending on how well you do in the Danger Room scenario, you will be given an assessment rating, which has a numerical value from anywhere between zero and twenty. You progress by the prowess with which you use your abilities, including your mutant powers, leadership, teamwork, strategy, speed, fighting skill, energy projection, mental projection, strength, and intelligence.
Characters can then progress from numerical values to alphabetical values. F being the lowest, and X being the highest, with variables being added after that (XX, XX, X4, etc.) with X5 being the highest.
So, there you have the character creation thingie. I'm not sure about gameplay, because I want it to be failry freeform, but this is what I have so far. Remember, I just made this game two days ago. Ask me if you need anything, and I'd be glad to answer any questions.
