A devastating taijutsu form in which the user releases air pressure from whatever limb he is striking with by keeping air flowing tightly packed close to the body. This allows for a much stronger force applied to standard strikes. Because the user must keep a tightly packed layer of air close to the body, this form also has high defense. At the same time it takes alot of chakra control and stamina to continually use this style.
This form does not have a specific stance. The user may stand however they feel. Because of this, it can effectively be added to other fighting styles as well. What makes the main style unique is it's combo based attacks. Every move will lead into another if the user so chooses. The air pressure releases allow for air juggles as well, keeping the users feet off the ground. Because of the layer of air constantly around them, they can release this against the ground to jump higher or run faster.
History
Ever since the Wind country developed ninjutsu using wind, a group stood in their shadow. This group sought out ways to use wind in taijutsu, seeing the distructive force of it firsthand. They knew they could have no seals involved, so their had to be a way to harness wind without molding chakra into it. Intense study insued, and nothing was found. The group stood heartbroken.
Harnessing the power of the wind in taijutsu was forgotten for a long while. Finally a decendent of one of the original studiers made a brake through. He had not refused to give up and finally his determination payed off. He realized that chakra could hold air in a confined space, and, comparing this with air compressing technology, he began to understand. When air is compressed it is just a bottle of energy waiting to explode. Because chakra could capture and compress air, it could effectively harness this explosive energy.
The next puzzle to solve was where to compress the air. This was an easy answer. Because the user would strike the enemy with their limbs, it was obvious the air had to be held close to the limbs. It was decided that the user would compress air against himself, readying it for release at any time. Finnaly, they had a way to harness wind in taijutsu.
The style spread throughout the sand, but success does not come without failure. Users of the style began to notice they were hurting themselves with every strike. Even though their opponents where going down, so where they. Most abandoned the style because of this. A few who refused to give up began to realize that the compressed air also exploded back into their limbs, hurting the bones and muscles. The learned that the only way to prevent this was to release in moderation, but this made the style weaker. Countless hours of study began until, finaly, they figured it out. The air had to be let out somehow, moderating the damage to themselves without limiting the style itself. They realized the could release the pressure at the base of the heel every now and then, this also gave a boost of speed.
With the advancement of other taijutsu, this style became weaker and weaker. Withering away in the desert sun. Finnaly another visionary witnessed the usage of the rasengan. He saw the force of the spinning chakra. He modified the style, spinning the air close to the body causing more force. This was the last major modification to the style. One thing that still needs to be solved is the longevity of using the style in battle. This style is now taugth throughout the sand village, but only to nin who have the stamina to harness it.

=====
Stage One
Stat Requirements: Stamina 4, Strength 4
Stage Bonus: Strength +1, Speed +5, Stamina +3
Training begins here. The user must already have a keen sense of chakra control. The nin is taught to keep air closely packed to the body by releasing chakra and drawing it back, trapping air close to the skin. The air builds up pressure being so compact, and is released upon striking the opponent. This release of air pressure is the driving force behind this style. There are dangers to be discussed here. The forces being released don't just effect the enemy, but the user as well. Followers of this style are taught to release the pressure in moderation, careful not to hurt themselves. Even with the moderate releases bone damage still occurs. Frequent users of the style will start to experience bone and muscle pain if the style is used to much. Because of the constant release and pulling back of chakra nin at this stage can become worn out within 5-8 minutes (7 posts) of using the style. The pressure adds 10 percent of the user's Power to their strike.
Techniques
Sorrido Taiki: Taiki Assaku (Solid Atmosphere Style: Atmospheric Compression)
Requirement: none
Description: The technique that allows for the pressure releases in this style. The user must go under heavy training to be able to use this, and some nin can't even get to this point. Because its so hard to learn, it is broken up into stages which will be discussed. The first stage is learning to release the chakra out of the body without losing it. The second, drawing the chakra back in to the body. The third is learning to draw air against the body with this released chakra. The forth is keeping the air against the skin while drawing in more air, this is the hardest step to learn. The fifth and final step is simple yet complicated, the user is taught to release the air when striking. The basic idea is that compacting air close to the nins body using chakra will store energy, which can be released at the time of a strike or to deflect attacks. This is what makes the style so potent, all that energy released in the attacks. This is also it's downfall though, the nin cannot protect themselves against damage that would be done to themselves when releasing this energy.

Stage Two
Stat Requirements: Stamina 7, Strength 7, Control 6
Stage Bonus: Strength +1, Speed +5, Stamina +3
The next stage teaches "charges". Charges are like the build-up of static ellectricity, the longer it's held the stronger they become. This delves further into the moderated release of pressure, teaching to constantly release small amounts as to prevent large build-up. At this stage it is common for the users bones to ache during battle. This is where the speed boosts come in. Air is transfered to the heel when it becomes too compact and released in spurts to create boosts of speed. Charges may also be used in dire situations to create "kill-strikes" These are extremely dangerous to the user and they are taught not to use them. Without moderated releases, the pressure just continues to build before finally releasing it in massive amounts. Though this can cause extreme damage to the enemy, it can also shatter bones and tear muscles of the user. At this level, the nin becomes able to keep up with the style longer, do to stamina increases. The style can now be used for 10-13 (12 posts) minutes at a time before rest. A strike adds 25% of the user's Power into the attack.
---
Stage Three
Stat Requirements: Stamina 11, Strength 9, Control 8
Stage Bonus: Strength +1, Speed +4, Stamina +2
At this stage, the user is profecient at keeping a constant layer of air around them. They can keep up the style longer now so a new stage of learning is ushered in. This stage is known as the power stage because of the turning point in the style. Users go from being taught to release small amounts of air to releasing larger amounts, creating a huge leap in the strength of strikes. At this level, it is taught how to swirl air close to the skin. This increases energy do to common physics laws, the faster moving an object, the more energy it has. When the user releases this fast swirling air, it has more force. Because of the chuunin level of the nin at this stage, the air is swirled relativily slow. It would take way to much chakra to spin it fast at this stage. Because of the larger releases bones begins to harden. This causes an almost constant ache while using the style. The ache doesn't stop the nin from fighting, far from it, but it does cause some serious distraction. There is no jump in longevity in this stage because of the change in style. Pressure strikes add 40% of user's Power into the attack.
Techniques
Sorrido Taiki: Houmen Tei Ekusupuro-jon (Solid Atmosphere Style: Releasing Air Explosion)
Requirement: Taiki Assaku
Description: The user gathers more and more air around the body, compacting it thoroughly. Using themselves as a bomb, they get close enough to the enemy and release all the air. The air explodes outward with huge force. The longer the user "charges", that is gathers air, the more powerful the explosion.
Charge one post: 1 explosive pouch
Charge two posts: 1 explosive note
Charge Three post: Can blast a few trees
Charge four posts: Can blast a boulder
Special Techniques
Sorrido Taiki: Tei Tensou Kujiku (Solid Atmosphere Style: Air Transfer Crush)
Requirement: Taiki Assaku
Description: The user must come in contact with the enemy to perform this move. The user grabs a part of the enemies body and releases the air pressure onto the body part grabbed. This puts the part held under extreme pressure, causing pain. Mostly used on limbs to immobolize the enemy nin. The longer the nin is held, the more damage that is done.
---
Stage Four
Stat Requirements: Stamina 15, Strength 14, Speed 14, Control 14
Stage Bonus: Strength +1, Speed +5, Stamina +3
The combo effeciency of this style is learned on this stage. In light of the ability to knock the opponent into the air with waves of air, mid-air combo's are taught. No change in the style of air compression is discussed here, but the constant use of swirling air hightens the stamina of users. A new technique learned is the further enhancement of the heel releases. Because of the mid-air combo's being taught the user must be able to jump high. To do this air is released at the heel when jumping, but it has to be altered to fit the jump. Air is rappidly spun at the heel, creating larger force. This said air is released just before the jump allowing the ninja to leap further and higher. Bones at this level have become condensed, and the nin becomes heavier. This causes for a loss in speed naturally. Also, the bones ache constantly while in battle. At first this ache is rather painful, but after awhile the ache subsides to a more calm pain causing distraction in battle. The constant growing of stamina shows here again as the user can now use the style for 15-18 minutes (17 posts). Pressure adds 55% of user's Power to a strike.
Techniques
Sorrido Taiki: Chikara Nami (Solid Atmosphere Style: Force Wave)
Requirement: Taiki Assaku
Description: The user slaps their hands together, releasing the air pressure outwards in a wave towards the opponent. This knocks back the opponent violently. Mostly used to ram the opponent into a surface such as a wall.
---
Stage Five
Stat Requirements: Stamina 21, Strength 18, Speed 17, Control 16
Stage Bonus: Strength +1, Speed +5, Stamina +1
At this stage, an in-depth increase in all areas of the style is learned. The previously slow-spun air is spun faster now creating yet more force. Speed spurts are increased, allowing for huge bursts of speed. For a few steps the user can release the huge air pressures to give a leap in speed when dodging or rushing the opponent. This speed cannot be kept up at anywhere near a constant rate do to air having to be re-pressured. Air time is longer, as the spun air around the heal becomes faster and holds more force. There is only a small increase in time able to use the style at this stage, 17-20 minutes (19 posts). Pressure strikes add 65% of user's Power to an attack.
Special Techniques
Sorrido Taiki: Kiri Ude Dageki (Solid Atmosphere Style: Drill Arm Strike)
Requirement: Taiki Assaku
Description: The user spins the tightly packed air around their arms, effectively turning their arms into drills. With the tightly packed air spinning the "drills" are able to peirce metal of up to half an inch thick. They may then use these new "weapons" however they like. This takes alot of chakra to keep the air constantly spinning and tightly packed so its mostly used for a one shot attack unless the user has alot of stamina. 1-2 uses per 30 posts.
---
Stage Six
Stat Requirements: Stamina 27, Strength 24, Speed 24, Control 19, Power 17
Stage Bonus: Strength +1, Speed +5, Stamina +3
The force of the air pressure is nearing it pinnacle of the true realization. The tidal forces it creates can now be seen which are only comparable to the user's increase in ability and power. The user is starting to seemingly float in the air as they spin. Air is visibly distorted with each movement causing a blurring effect around the user. Pressure strikes add 80% of user's Power to an attack.
---
Stage Seven
Stat Requirements: Stamina 35, Strength 33, Speed 31, Control 23, 19
Stage Bonus: Strength +1, Speed +5, Stamina +1
The air pressure being held by the user literally kicks up around the body and concentrated while prepared for use. A spin when worked upon literally causes the user to disappear in a giant blur of air disturbances from sheer concentrated force of air pressure. Every movement causes cracks in the wind as the force of normal air comes in contact with the manipulated air. Pressure strikes add 95% of user's Power to an attack.
Special Techniques
Technique Name: Kouzou no Kuchiku (Destruction of Structure)
Requirements: Sorrido Taiki: Tei Tensou Kujiku (Solid Atmosphere Style: Air Transfer Crush)
Description: Using the pressure able to be compressed, the user pushes it into the user's sternum. Once hitting the sternum, the air pressure explodes, causing both to fly back. The user may be able to stop themselves after a while, but the opponent cannot. Using this air pressure, the sternum has shattered. With the sternum's shattering, the pulse moves into the ribs which crack. The explosion breaks them off, and the entire upper body structure collapses. At this point, it is beyond healing to save this one. The bones stab into the organs, killing the opponent even faster than if they were simply unable to move their upper body. Opponent permission is required.
