Stage 1
Etai Souken (Nature Creation)
Requirements: Power 2, Tactics 2
Descripiton: Often the first jutsu that academy students of Kusagakure learn, this jutsu allows the user to 'create' a source of Grass or, well, anything in this list that they might require for a jutsu before peforming it. Naturally, this is incredibly useful for many to use. The range for 'creating' Grass [the only real thing they can create without having to use a technique] is up to 15 feet as a genin in a circluar range, 30 Chuunin, 60 Jounin, and Sennin can go as far as 120, while finally, Kage-rank shinobi can create it as far as 250 feet away. This can be used passively on seeds within the user's range, allowing them to grow faster then normal; as well as other plants.
Kusa Bunshin no Jutsu (Grass Clone):
Requirement: Control 3, Intelligence 2
Description: Rising quickly from the nearest plant or patch of grass comes a odd creation. The user's shape has been made from many stalks of grass, intertwined to look like the user. If the user had a sword, they will have a sword- made of grass. Shuriken, kunai..it applies to that, too. All these weapons are as strong as their counterparts. Naturally, this cannot copy the special effects of weapons or items. They wouldn't be able to pull out a nice little explovise note of grass. They have the 1/10th the speed and strength of the user, but have 1 Stamina when it comes to defence. For every four Reserves, another clone can be made, to a max of 8. A single hit is enough to cause a stalk to untwine and make the whole thing fall into a pile of grass stalks.
Kusa Maina-Hei (Grass Minor Wall):
Requirement: Power 3, Willpower 2
Description: A quick, defensive jutsu, at best. Making a single handseal, this causes a wall about three meters tall and three meters wide to rise arubtly from the ground infront of the user, made from deeply entangled stalks of grass. It is thick enough that small glimpses can be seen through it, but besides that, it would be hard to see what's going on behind it. One taijutsu hit is usually enough to rip through the wall, though, depending on the rank of the user, it can block varying levels of ninjutsu.
Genin: Stage 1 ninjutsu can be blocked.
Chuunin: Stage 2 ninjutsu can be blocked. Needs Stage Four in this tree.
Jounin: Stage 2 ninjutsu can be blocked. Needs Stage Four in this tree.
Sennin: Stage 3 ninjutsu can be blocked. Needs Stage Seven in this tree.
Kusa Ni-Doru (Grass Needles)
Requirement: Intelligence 3, Reserves 3
Descripiton: Either after creating a few small stalks of Grass in their hand or grabbing some from the earth, the user spreads a incredibly small amount of chakra throughout them, usually not bothering with handseals. Afterwards, the grass is thrown towards a target, and during it's flight, they become more circular in shape, with points like that of metal- much akin to metal senbon, allowing it to pierce the flesh and clothing. Four can be shot per hand, though Genin can only use one hand with this jutsu. One needle can be made per two Reserves, and for the fifth up, two Reserves becomes four past that [requiring twenty four].
Sueshijuu Wakai (Forever Life)
Requirement: Power 4, Control 4
Descripiton: Though lowly, this jutsu can be very potent. It does nothing offenvisely, sadly- however, it gives all of the plants in a certain range of the user, once activated, protection from things that would normally outright kill them- the plants will instead be charred by fire instead of outright burned, and they can survive perfectly in frost, or even after a splash of water, and even survive if planted in stone- as long as they have a constant, almost unnoticeable amount of chakra supplied. The user can turn this off on specfic plants at will. Of course, if a Katon/Snow stronger/equal then the user's highest Grass Ninjutsu is used, they might as well kiss the plant bye-bye. Plants can be burned by overpowering it: I.E, if a Genin wants to destory a flower with some fire instantly, but only had Stage Two and Stage One Katons, they would need to use the equivliant of the user's stage in Grass Ninjutsu, so Mr. Genin would have to use four Stage Two jutsu in order to defeat the ninjutsu of someone with Stage 7.
Genin: 10 feet radius in all directions
Chuunin: 20 feet radius in all directions
Jounin: 30 feet radius in all directions
Sage: 60 feet radius in all directions.
This does not work on any jutsu that creates a moving creature of plants.
Stage 2
Shyushi Karamari (Seed Entangle)
Requirements: Power 5, Control 4, Reserves 4
Description: By hyper accelerating the growth rate of a seed, a user will concentrate the chakra into the seed and shoot it at a target. Once the seed hits the target no matter if it was the intended, the seed soon unravels and many vines wrap around the arms and legs of the opponent thus restricting the opponent greatly. However, adepts of taijutsu and higher rank ninjas can break free easily. (Those higher rank than the user can automatically break out, while those with taijutsu break as follow: Against a genin: level 1 taijutsu, Chuunin: level 3, Jounin: level 5)
Gosunkugi Kusa Tama (Spikey Grass Balls)
Requirements: Intelligence 5, Tactics 4, Willpower 4
Description: The user creates two handseals, before making a gulp-like motion, as if he was about to spit a loogie. Instead, what comes out are tiny, golf-ball sized green balls, quickly soaring through the air.. They fire forward at the enemy. As they go through the air, they can grow up to three times their size- nothing really amazing. Of course, it doesn't stop there, either- at the user's whim, during their flight, each ball will sprout several thorn-like mini-spikes on it that can easily rip into the skin as easily as regular metal does. One can be made per four Reserves.
Hinsei no Senrigan (Nature’s Clairvoyance)
Requirements: Intelligence 6, Tactics 6, Control 5
Description: This amazing yet simple technique is surprisingly one of the most useful jutsus in the arsenal of Grass ninjas. By simply infusing chakra into a living thing, usually a plant/tree, since it will always stay in the same position, the user is able to make it responsive to chakra changes around it, whether it is from the user, allies or enemies. Acting as a detector for the user, it allows Genins utilizing the technique to ‘feel’ the chakra of an enemy, if the latter doesn't conceal it. Mostly used when trying to know the location of an enemy when being pursued, this jutsu is extremely useful to prepare ambushes and avoid surprise attacks. At Chuunin level, the user can link his own chakra to that of the plant on which he has used the technique and eventually ‘see’ what the plant would have seen had it possessed eyes. Used on animals, this technique could provide a powerful spying tool but any untrained creature wouldn’t be very useful in the end. Besides, should the user know Kai, the Hinsei no Senrigan can make a plant act as a ward to ‘detect’ Genjutsus within a radius of ten feet around it. Of course, when detected, the user still has to cancel the illusion using his own means.
Kusa Hara Hitonakase (Grass Field Annoyance)
Requirement: Power 7, Control 7, Intelligence 6
Descirpiton: Seeping chakra into the ground under them, the user makes a single handseal. Suddenly, grass sprouts up from the ground, if there is a lack of it, but otherwise, it gets a little longer and bigger. They'll even sprout under water, and reach upwards the top of whatever surface it is part of. The field can be as big as the shinobi's Chakra stats added together in feet.This does nothing to the Kusagakure shinobi, however, it's a hindrance to the enemy- the grass stalks will try to wrap around their ankles and hinder them. Naturally, it's a very weak hold that anyone with five strength can break out of. It isn't very often sucessful, however, but as the enemy brushes past them [something certain to do while moving in it], the grass will quickly grow thorns, each one about two inches. Depending on how tall the enemy is, they may end up scracthing their shins, knees, or even their chest. Not very useful, but it can prove to be a hindrance. It lasts one post for every two Control, with a base of one, and a max of four posts. The grass is two feet upwards from the surface.
Genin: 15 feet radius in all directions

Stage 3
Tsukene Yari (Root Spear)
Requirement: Power 8, Control 8, Reserves 6
Descripiton: Making a single seal, the user focuses a small bit of chakra to a single foot, before stomping it down on the ground. Nearby roots- or, say, in a area made of stone, those made by Etai Souken, rise from the ground quickly and violently at a desired location in sight of the user, usually under the opponet's feet. They can be angled diagonally or merely go up straight. The tips are as strong as metal, making this a useful technique for Genin.
Genin: The roots can go up three feet from the ground. One spear per two Power, with a maxium of three.
Chuunin: The roots can go up six feet from the ground. Can peform while in air. One spear per two power, with a maxium of five. Needs Stage Four in this tree.
Jounin: The roots can go up eighteen feet from the ground. One spear per two Power, with a maxium of ten. Needs Stage Five in this tree.
Sage: The roots can go up thirty six feet from the ground. One spear per each Power, with a maxium of fifteen. Needs Stage Seven in this tree.
Kusa Kusari Baito (Grass Chain Bite)
Requirement: Intelligence 8, Tactics 6, Willpower 8
Description: Out of some plants- doesn't really matter which- the user creates a automation of sorts. At the top of it is a rather big ball, relatively hard; the plants that made it have taken a black hue. It has two large, almost cartoonish eyes on the front. Attached to the backside is a chain, once again made of grass stalks. It's about eight feet long, and strong as it's real-world comparison, but at the end is a handle. Sir and madam, you have yourself a pet. The head contains a row of sharp thorns shaped to be like teeth. It could probably even bite your hand off. Each one is exetremely light, however, it's possible to make them weigh about fifty pounds at any time nesscary. One may be made for every four reserves. They may move by hopping. Their stats are 1/4rd of the user's physicals, each, not including taijutsu bonuses.
Osore Kusa (Horror Plant)
Requirement: Power 9, Control 9, Intelligence 7
Descripiton: A terrible jutsu as its namesake suggests. With a single handseal the user causes a small flower - in this case a rose - to bud on the chosen victim's forehead, after touching him. Ah ha! You say, this jutsu is trying to hippyfie the enemy, but how wrong you would be. As the flower bobs up and down it deposits pollen around the victim's face and once it touches either exposed skin or becomes inhaled the true affect appears. It gives them a headache. Or, in this case, perhaps it could be better described as the evil migrane from hell. A trained shinobi should be able to fight through even a distraction as severe as that, but it is enough to disrupt absolute concentration. The flower has thorns on it so it might be painful to pull it out and trying to remove it causes the headache to worsen considerably. Nevertheless, by spending one entire post removing the flower it can be done. Usually sprouting on the forehead where it can dangle down and disrupt the victim's vision, it will fall off after 3 posts if left unattended.
Kusaki Kengeki (Plant Weapons):
Requirement: intelligence 9, tactics 9, Control 7
Descripiton: By utizling chakra into almost any plant the user can find and hyper accelarating the growth of it, it has become possible for him to create his own weapons. A rose could become a long, spiked whip, while that weed over there, once grown to a big enough size, would make a nice cleaver sword. Maybe that piece of grass could be a fine katana- it's all up to the user's imagination. Naturally, all weapons are as deadly as their normal counterparts, but special effects and the like are useless- sure, you can create something that looks like an exploding tag, but it'd be useless when it comes to exploding. The weapons resume their normal, natural look when they leave the user's hand. As a natural side effect, they're a little more brittle as well as a bit flimsy.
Stage 4
Keiryu (Thorn Dragon)
Requirement: Power 12, Control 11, Reserves 10, Intelligence 12
Description: Making a few quick handseals, the ground before the user rises into a cross shape: roughly six meters across and three meters long. Then! A mighty european dragon formed from a mass of vines and thorns bursts forth from the ground. With a body 4 meters and a wingspan of almost double that this fearsome best is armed with two long pirecing horns, razor sharp claws and a lash like tail that ends in a trio of wicked spikes. Its body and natural weapons are as hard as steel like such dargons of ledgend though instead of breathing fire this plantlike replica is capable of shooting out huge, two feet long thorns (up to 5 at a time). It lasts three posts. Whenever a katon is used on it, the dragon loses (stage of katon) duration posts, thus a stage four, five, or even seven katon will instantly incinerate it, should it hit. Stage 3 Katon will merely set the thing aflame, and it will be reduced to cinders at the end of the user's next post. Only one may be active at a time.
Kusa Hayashi Hara (Grass Forest Field)
Requirements: Intelligence 12, Tactics 11, Willpower 10, Power 12
Description: Once again raising a field of grass, this time, we make a 'forest' of grass. The grass begins to grow larger and larger until each strand is almost a meter wide and ten meters tall. This can be done in a twenty-five meter raidus. The user is able to stand upon the top, allowing him to see all that goes on below him while those inside will have a considerably harder time. After two posts, the sides of the grass grow several thorns, making it almost virtually impossible to escape uninjured. Each thorn is two centimeters long. This lasts five posts.
Shoukaku Kusaki (Grasping Plants)
Requirement: Power 14, Control 13,Reserves 11, Tactics 10
Descripiton: The user makes a single seal, before slamming a hand to the ground. Behind the enemy, two vines burst out of the ground, suddenly grabbing their ankles and injecting several thorns, to keep them from moving. They can be removed with a post of pulling. Elsewise, they last two posts.
Kusa Shunshin (Grass Instant Relocation)
Requirement: Intelligence 14, Tactics 13, Willpower 11, Control 10
Descripiton: Creating severalm stalks of grass around them, they suddenly spiral up arroud the user, removing the user from sight. They suddenly shrink down, disappearing back into the ground. The user then appears in a area of his choice up to a mile away that he has been to before.
Personal Grove
Requirement: Power 15, Control 15, Reserves 13, Intelligence 14, Grass GM Approval
Descripiton: One of the higher level Chuunin jutsu for a Kusagakure shinobi, a Shinobi 'inscribes' a part of the forest with their chakra, and can esentially claim it as their 'grove'. Now, by simply slamming a hand on a unrolled kanji-filled scroll, they can summon their grove anywhere- where it was originally will seem to be like a nice little patch of grass, but the grove will appear anywhere, unharmed by the new climate. The Grove, however, must be described in the character sheet. It can be trapped, full of poisounous animals, and other things. Any jutsu that would benefit the area of the grove that are on it when it is summoned MUST be specified. The grove will regenarate at the end of the thread/when cancelled.
Chuunin: The Grove may be up to 15 meters.
Jounin: The Grove may be up to 20 meters.
Sage: The Grove may be up to 40 meters.
Stage 5
Kibaku Kusaki (Exploding Plants)
Requirements: Power 17, Control 16, Reserves 16, Intelligence 15
Descripiton: The user makes a single handseal, before touching any plant. Afterwards, they quickly get away from it, and usually stay away. The next post, the plant will explode with the force of one exploding notes if chuunin, and two if Jounin.
Pirania Kusaki (Piranaha Plants)
Requirement: Power 18, Control 17, Reserves 17, Tactics 14
Descripiton: Certainly an odd jutsu to see in action. This causes the area in a up to 100 feet radius to suddenly bud small, greyish flowers. Like weeds, they are hundreds in number- but in the end, there's usually only three or so. The next post, they suddenly sprout up, growing at speeds that defy nature. The stalks become five feet long, able to retact to a measly two feet or even shoot up another two feet to be seven. The bulbs, once a simple red, become spotted white, with a most unpleseant surprise. Usually around the exact top of the plant is what appear to be a pair of giant, white lips.
However, when opened- and believe me, they can open and close as if it was lighting- they reveal two sharp rows of teeth, capable of biting chunks even out of metal. Anything they eat seems to be destoryed instantly- a saliva-like substance in their mouth merely acts as a incredibly strong acid, making whatever they chose for a meal into something edible for the plant in seconds. They love nothing more then a good meal, though they will not attack the creator's teammates. They can walk around at their creator's [Control] speed after the second post by uprooting themselves and using their four roots to stand.
One can be made for every six Reserves, with a maxium of 5 for Chuunin, eight if Jounin- for Sennin, a glorious ten. They only last two posts, not counting the growth stage, and after they take a bite out of something, they'll usually find themselves content and sink into the ground. Merely ripping them from the stem (requiring a base of 25 strength) will kill it. Using a katon on any stage lower then five will merely set them aflame- two will incinerate, while Stage Five and above incinerate instantly.
Kusa Kinezumi (Grass Squirrels)
Requirement: Intelligence 17, Tactics 16, Willpower 16, Power 15
Descripiton: Up to seven of these may be made, one per ten Reserves. This jutsu utizlies some foilage, grass, plants..whatever is avaible, to create relatively large squirrels, each one the size of a human man or smaller. They have an incredibly keen nose, long, thorn-like teeth, keen hearing and whatnot. Used as a tracking tool, they have the user's physical stats, but only 1/3 of the Taijutsu Bonuses, if the user should possess some. They may use Grass Needles, shooting them from the mouth or paws. Finally, if ordered to track something, they will follow it endlessly. The user will know where they are and if they found someone.
Stage 6
Kyuukyoku Kusa Bunshin (Ultimate Grass Clone)
Requirements: Power 21, Control 20, Reserves 19, Intelligence 17, Tactics 15
Description: This time, we take a deeper dive into the Kusa Bunshin. Only one may be active at a time. Plants are used once again to make this bunshin; easily recongized for that, too. Tightly entwined, it is a perfect copy of the user, in a sense: they have 'muscules', they 'bleed' sap, etc. It has the exact Stamina, Strength and Speed of the user. However, there's a added bonus to this: they're bodies are manipulatable. Naturally, they can't become more then they are, but they are able to turn arms into axes, swords..kunai for a tounge, etc. Likewise, they may use any Mokuton/Grass jutsu, stage six and below, that the user knows. However, each clone may only 'know' two of those jutsu, something that is declared when they are created. They may use their jutsu three times before dissappearing.
Boubi Kusa Tentou (Defense Grass Counter)
Requirements: Intelligence 21, Tactics 20, Willpower 19, Power 17, Control 17
Descripiton: Grass has always had a large dominon of plants and such under their control; but against other elements, it was incredibly weak. Snow would bury it. Earth would rip apart the roots. Sand would..well..do something, and even the very air it thrived on constantly could turn against it with a simple wave of a hand. Oh, how the tables turned. A single seed is embued with a mass of chakra, before being flicked at something- it does not matter what happens then. Fire will not effect the tiny seed, and blades will be devestated by it's effect, even after slicing it in two. Once a target has been hit, the seed bursts open to reveal a similar sight akin to Shyushi Karamari; many vines wrapping around the enemy. Usually used to defeat defensive jutsu, the vines 'search' the armor/skin of the enemy for a weakpoint, before exploiting it. Earth will be ripped apart by the vines edging through narrow cracks, metal will be pried off, snow is drilled through..after the armor has been removed from the enemy, taking one post to do so [or in some cases, not] the vines will twist around the enemy, growing prickly, one centimeter thorns- obviously hurting a lot. Another post after, and the vines fall off.
Shibousha Kusa (Death's Grass)
Requirement: Power 23, Control 23, Reserves 22, Tactics 16, Willpower 15, Grass GM Approval
Descripiton: With a wave of their hand, the user causes nearby plant matter write and spring into life. Shooting out from the ground or nearby flora, long whip like tendrils quickly wrap themselves around a chosen victim - covering them from their toes to their neck in vines - and leaving them bound and hopefully immobilized. On their next post, after a successful capture, the user forms the handseals for the second part of this jutsu: all of the tendrils suddenly grow one millimetre barbs into the enemy's flesh and with a sudden burst of movement all of the vines twist one foot counter clockwise…flaying the enemy. Of course, they can escape this if their Physical stats [base, mind you] are higher then your Chakra stats, added up together.

Mostly used when trying to know the location of an enemy when being pursued, this jutsu is extremely useful to prepare ambushes and avoid surprise attacks. At Chuunin level, the user can link his own chakra to that of the plant on which he has used the technique and eventually ‘see’ what the plant would have seen had it possessed eyes. Used on animals, this technique could provide a powerful spying tool but any untrained creature wouldn’t be very useful in the end. Besides, should the user know Kai, the Hinsei no Senrigan can make a plant act as a ward to ‘detect’ Genjutsus within a radius of ten feet around it. Of course, when detected, the user still has to cancel the illusion using his own means.
Kusa Hara Hitonakase (Grass Field Annoyance)
Requirement: Power 7, Control 7, Intelligence 6
Descirpiton: Seeping chakra into the ground under them, the user makes a single handseal. Suddenly, grass sprouts up from the ground, if there is a lack of it, but otherwise, it gets a little longer and bigger. They'll even sprout under water, and reach upwards the top of whatever surface it is part of. The field can be as big as the shinobi's Chakra stats added together in feet.This does nothing to the Kusagakure shinobi, however, it's a hindrance to the enemy- the grass stalks will try to wrap around their ankles and hinder them. Naturally, it's a very weak hold that anyone with five strength can break out of. It isn't very often sucessful, however, but as the enemy brushes past them [something certain to do while moving in it], the grass will quickly grow thorns, each one about two inches. Depending on how tall the enemy is, they may end up scracthing their shins, knees, or even their chest. Not very useful, but it can prove to be a hindrance. It lasts one post for every two Control, with a base of one, and a max of four posts. The grass is two feet upwards from the surface.
Genin: 15 feet radius in all directions
Chuunin: 30 feet radius in all directions
Jounin: 60 feet radius in all directions
Sage: 120 feet radius in all directions.
Stage 3
Tsukene Yari (Root Spear)
Requirement: Power 8, Control 8, Reserves 6
Descripiton: Making a single seal, the user focuses a small bit of chakra to a single foot, before stomping it down on the ground. Nearby roots- or, say, in a area made of stone, those made by Etai Souken, rise from the ground quickly and violently at a desired location in sight of the user, usually under the opponet's feet. They can be angled diagonally or merely go up straight. The tips are as strong as metal, making this a useful technique for Genin.
Genin: The roots can go up three feet from the ground. One spear per two Power, with a maxium of three.
Chuunin: The roots can go up six feet from the ground. Can peform while in air. One spear per two power, with a maxium of five. Needs Stage Four in this tree.
Jounin: The roots can go up eighteen feet from the ground. One spear per two Power, with a maxium of ten. Needs Stage Five in this tree.
Sage: The roots can go up thirty six feet from the ground. One spear per each Power, with a maxium of fifteen. Needs Stage Seven in this tree.
Kusa Kusari Baito (Grass Chain Bite)
Requirement: Intelligence 8, Tactics 6, Willpower 8
Description: Out of some plants- doesn't really matter which- the user creates a automation of sorts. At the top of it is a rather big ball, relatively hard; the plants that made it have taken a black hue. It has two large, almost cartoonish eyes on the front. Attached to the backside is a chain, once again made of grass stalks. It's about eight feet long, and strong as it's real-world comparison, but at the end is a handle. Sir and madam, you have yourself a pet. The head contains a row of sharp thorns shaped to be like teeth. It could probably even bite your hand off. Each one is exetremely light, however, it's possible to make them weigh about fifty pounds at any time nesscary. One may be made for every four reserves. They may move by hopping. Their stats are 1/4rd of the user's physicals, each, not including taijutsu bonuses.
Osore Kusa (Horror Plant)
Requirement: Power 9, Control 9, Intelligence 7
Descripiton: A terrible jutsu as its namesake suggests. With a single handseal the user causes a small flower - in this case a rose - to bud on the chosen victim's forehead, after touching him. Ah ha! You say, this jutsu is trying to hippyfie the enemy, but how wrong you would be. As the flower bobs up and down it deposits pollen around the victim's face and once it touches either exposed skin or becomes inhaled the true affect appears. It gives them a headache. Or, in this case, perhaps it could be better described as the evil migrane from hell. A trained shinobi should be able to fight through even a distraction as severe as that, but it is enough to disrupt absolute concentration. The flower has thorns on it so it might be painful to pull it out and trying to remove it causes the headache to worsen considerably. Nevertheless, by spending one entire post removing the flower it can be done. Usually sprouting on the forehead where it can dangle down and disrupt the victim's vision, it will fall off after 3 posts if left unattended.
Kusaki Kengeki (Plant Weapons):
Requirement: intelligence 9, tactics 9, Control 7
Descripiton: By utizling chakra into almost any plant the user can find and hyper accelarating the growth of it, it has become possible for him to create his own weapons. A rose could become a long, spiked whip, while that weed over there, once grown to a big enough size, would make a nice cleaver sword. Maybe that piece of grass could be a fine katana- it's all up to the user's imagination. Naturally, all weapons are as deadly as their normal counterparts, but special effects and the like are useless- sure, you can create something that looks like an exploding tag, but it'd be useless when it comes to exploding. The weapons resume their normal, natural look when they leave the user's hand. As a natural side effect, they're a little more brittle as well as a bit flimsy.
Stage 4
Keiryu (Thorn Dragon)
Requirement: Power 12, Control 11, Reserves 10, Intelligence 12
Description: Making a few quick handseals, the ground before the user rises into a cross shape: roughly six meters across and three meters long. Then! A mighty european dragon formed from a mass of vines and thorns bursts forth from the ground. With a body 4 meters and a wingspan of almost double that this fearsome best is armed with two long pirecing horns, razor sharp claws and a lash like tail that ends in a trio of wicked spikes. Its body and natural weapons are as hard as steel like such dargons of ledgend though instead of breathing fire this plantlike replica is capable of shooting out huge, two feet long thorns (up to 5 at a time). It lasts three posts. Whenever a katon is used on it, the dragon loses (stage of katon) duration posts, thus a stage four, five, or even seven katon will instantly incinerate it, should it hit. Stage 3 Katon will merely set the thing aflame, and it will be reduced to cinders at the end of the user's next post. Only one may be active at a time.
Kusa Hayashi Hara (Grass Forest Field)
Requirements: Intelligence 12, Tactics 11, Willpower 10, Power 12
Description: Once again raising a field of grass, this time, we make a 'forest' of grass. The grass begins to grow larger and larger until each strand is almost a meter wide and ten meters tall. This can be done in a twenty-five meter raidus. The user is able to stand upon the top, allowing him to see all that goes on below him while those inside will have a considerably harder time. After two posts, the sides of the grass grow several thorns, making it almost virtually impossible to escape uninjured. Each thorn is two centimeters long. This lasts five posts.
Shoukaku Kusaki (Grasping Plants)
Requirement: Power 14, Control 13,Reserves 11, Tactics 10
Descripiton: The user makes a single seal, before slamming a hand to the ground. Behind the enemy, two vines burst out of the ground, suddenly grabbing their ankles and injecting several thorns, to keep them from moving. They can be removed with a post of pulling. Elsewise, they last two posts.
Kusa Shunshin (Grass Instant Relocation)
Requirement: Intelligence 14, Tactics 13, Willpower 11, Control 10
Descripiton: Creating severalm stalks of grass around them, they suddenly spiral up arroud the user, removing the user from sight. They suddenly shrink down, disappearing back into the ground. The user then appears in a area of his choice up to a mile away that he has been to before.
Personal Grove
Requirement: Power 15, Control 15, Reserves 13, Intelligence 14, Grass GM Approval
Descripiton: One of the higher level Chuunin jutsu for a Kusagakure shinobi, a Shinobi 'inscribes' a part of the forest with their chakra, and can esentially claim it as their 'grove'. Now, by simply slamming a hand on a unrolled kanji-filled scroll, they can summon their grove anywhere- where it was originally will seem to be like a nice little patch of grass, but the grove will appear anywhere, unharmed by the new climate. The Grove, however, must be described in the character sheet. It can be trapped, full of poisounous animals, and other things. Any jutsu that would benefit the area of the grove that are on it when it is summoned MUST be specified. The grove will regenarate at the end of the thread/when cancelled.
Chuunin: The Grove may be up to 15 meters.
Jounin: The Grove may be up to 20 meters.
Sage: The Grove may be up to 40 meters.
Stage 5
Kibaku Kusaki (Exploding Plants)
Requirements: Power 17, Control 16, Reserves 16, Intelligence 15
Descripiton: The user makes a single handseal, before touching any plant. Afterwards, they quickly get away from it, and usually stay away. The next post, the plant will explode with the force of one exploding notes if chuunin, and two if Jounin.
Pirania Kusaki (Piranaha Plants)
Requirement: Power 18, Control 17, Reserves 17, Tactics 14
Descripiton: Certainly an odd jutsu to see in action. This causes the area in a up to 100 feet radius to suddenly bud small, greyish flowers. Like weeds, they are hundreds in number- but in the end, there's usually only three or so. The next post, they suddenly sprout up, growing at speeds that defy nature. The stalks become five feet long, able to retact to a measly two feet or even shoot up another two feet to be seven. The bulbs, once a simple red, become spotted white, with a most unpleseant surprise. Usually around the exact top of the plant is what appear to be a pair of giant, white lips.
However, when opened- and believe me, they can open and close as if it was lighting- they reveal two sharp rows of teeth, capable of biting chunks even out of metal. Anything they eat seems to be destoryed instantly- a saliva-like substance in their mouth merely acts as a incredibly strong acid, making whatever they chose for a meal into something edible for the plant in seconds. They love nothing more then a good meal, though they will not attack the creator's teammates. They can walk around at their creator's [Control] speed after the second post by uprooting themselves and using their four roots to stand.
One can be made for every six Reserves, with a maxium of 5 for Chuunin, eight if Jounin- for Sennin, a glorious ten. They only last two posts, not counting the growth stage, and after they take a bite out of something, they'll usually find themselves content and sink into the ground. Merely ripping them from the stem (requiring a base of 25 strength) will kill it. Using a katon on any stage lower then five will merely set them aflame- two will incinerate, while Stage Five and above incinerate instantly.
Kusa Kinezumi (Grass Squirrels)
Requirement: Intelligence 17, Tactics 16, Willpower 16, Power 15
Descripiton: Up to seven of these may be made, one per ten Reserves. This jutsu utizlies some foilage, grass, plants..whatever is avaible, to create relatively large squirrels, each one the size of a human man or smaller. They have an incredibly keen nose, long, thorn-like teeth, keen hearing and whatnot. Used as a tracking tool, they have the user's physical stats, but only 1/3 of the Taijutsu Bonuses, if the user should possess some. They may use Grass Needles, shooting them from the mouth or paws. Finally, if ordered to track something, they will follow it endlessly. The user will know where they are and if they found someone.
Stage 6
Kyuukyoku Kusa Bunshin (Ultimate Grass Clone)
Requirements: Power 21, Control 20, Reserves 19, Intelligence 17, Tactics 15
Description: This time, we take a deeper dive into the Kusa Bunshin. Only one may be active at a time. Plants are used once again to make this bunshin; easily recongized for that, too. Tightly entwined, it is a perfect copy of the user, in a sense: they have 'muscules', they 'bleed' sap, etc. It has the exact Stamina, Strength and Speed of the user. However, there's a added bonus to this: they're bodies are manipulatable. Naturally, they can't become more then they are, but they are able to turn arms into axes, swords..kunai for a tounge, etc. Likewise, they may use any Mokuton/Grass jutsu, stage six and below, that the user knows. However, each clone may only 'know' two of those jutsu, something that is declared when they are created. They may use their jutsu three times before dissappearing.
Boubi Kusa Tentou (Defense Grass Counter)
Requirements: Intelligence 21, Tactics 20, Willpower 19, Power 17, Control 17
Descripiton: Grass has always had a large dominon of plants and such under their control; but against other elements, it was incredibly weak. Snow would bury it. Earth would rip apart the roots. Sand would..well..do something, and even the very air it thrived on constantly could turn against it with a simple wave of a hand. Oh, how the tables turned. A single seed is embued with a mass of chakra, before being flicked at something- it does not matter what happens then. Fire will not effect the tiny seed, and blades will be devestated by it's effect, even after slicing it in two. Once a target has been hit, the seed bursts open to reveal a similar sight akin to Shyushi Karamari; many vines wrapping around the enemy. Usually used to defeat defensive jutsu, the vines 'search' the armor/skin of the enemy for a weakpoint, before exploiting it. Earth will be ripped apart by the vines edging through narrow cracks, metal will be pried off, snow is drilled through..after the armor has been removed from the enemy, taking one post to do so [or in some cases, not] the vines will twist around the enemy, growing prickly, one centimeter thorns- obviously hurting a lot. Another post after, and the vines fall off.
Shibousha Kusa (Death's Grass)
Requirement: Power 23, Control 23, Reserves 22, Tactics 16, Willpower 15, Grass GM Approval
Descripiton: With a wave of their hand, the user causes nearby plant matter write and spring into life. Shooting out from the ground or nearby flora, long whip like tendrils quickly wrap themselves around a chosen victim - covering them from their toes to their neck in vines - and leaving them bound and hopefully immobilized. On their next post, after a successful capture, the user forms the handseals for the second part of this jutsu: all of the tendrils suddenly grow one millimetre barbs into the enemy's flesh and with a sudden burst of movement all of the vines twist one foot counter clockwise…flaying the enemy. Of course, they can escape this if their Physical stats [base, mind you] are higher then your Chakra stats, added up together.
