Adamantium:
Arkhon Cerasteel: The Arkhons of Rifts: South America 2 produce a metal-ceramic combination that is most well known for being somewhat weak to conventional weapons but fantastic against energy weapons. This is surprisingly useful: Cultures typically choose one or the other to research and develop when they begin to be able to make energy weapons, especially with such intense discoveries as the Tri-Beam. Further, in space combat energy weapons are very much preferred.
Eternium: Eternium is a crystalline stasis metal, producing raw "HP" but not resistances.
Excelsium: The main source of excelsium items is Mr. Excelsior. It is a rare leftover from the second universe, raw material that was never broken down by the Big Bang completely. Small amounts of it have been synthesized as well. Excelsium is an incredible material in that it is malleable and easily accepting of enchantment or Affinity imbuing in one state with more extended crystals, then when more dense it is resistant. It is flexible, easily enchantable, and capable of being made very thin.
Kinestite: Kinestite is distinct from kisentite. The material is nearly invulnerable to physical assaults, but it offers no special protection to most energy abilities. It is hard to alloy, but modern technology incorporates some kinestite into most military alloys.
