Back in times when sorcery was abundant and a strong sword arm solved more problems than all the bureaucracy in the world. There were the four twins all of whom had different fathers. The Goddess had been lonely and so upon the realms she had fed. Her lust never quenching until her four twins were born. Two males and two females, all destined for the greatness that only the sons and daughters of the immortal Goddess could possibly achieve. Yet than disaster struck, with war on the outbreak amongst the gods, The Great Goddess couldn't keep an eye on her children and soon they fell into the decadence of sin for having a Goddess for a mother when she's never there to set you straight from a path of unlimited power, left opportunity for her children to reek havoc in this strange and distant land so far from their own. With time their reign of tyranny slide away and than finally disappeared from the view of the mortal planes. So it went to be told that they went their separate ways letting peace try and rebuild once more on the chaos they had made. Once gone and unable to see that their opposing twin for whom they would always bicker with, was for sure still alive they each began to plot anew their conquest of the mortal realms.
As the years grew on the children of the Goddess were forgotten from history and they became a myth to tell new young generations of children about why they should be glad they have a family who is there for them. Yet even while the myth carried on through the children of the realms. The Goddess' own children are now lying in rest so the legends say.
Now here in the current atmosphere of the great nations as it seems to be anything could happen at any moment. Yet now with mayhem and chaos so wide spread through these our native lands. It seems to some that the winds of Prophecy past are readying blowing for change, Which for sure will soon to come.
In Thermopile a thorp outside of Castle Thornsvale the winds of change have been blowing fiercely.

Cresting the rise of the last hill there comes in to view a village of small size, surrounded by hazy mist covered fields, the air around the village feels sticky with the humidity seeming to rise with every step as the air seems to be getting thicker and a retched stench of something gone bad starts to slowly creep up into your nose.
What these invigorating aromas are coming from is the large area ahead on which the mud farms of the Thermopile plains lie there in action. Nothing is quite like the smell of raw sewage mixed with mud, brown moldy water, and hundreds of men’s sweating bodies to take the breath right out of you. Standing next to you on the hill is a wooden post with a sign saying Thermopile 1/2 mile, Castle Thornvale 20 miles.
This road which you've been following leads down off the hill into a canyon pass with a bridge spanning over it, the village Thermopile is right on the other side. Beyond this you can faintly see the glimmering keep of Castle Thornvale in the distance outlined by the rays of the sun as they reach down, to sink into night's cold embrace.

Standing next to you on the cause way are two fellow travelers.
One a tall human with weathered skin and glossy brown hair, wearing a collection of hides sewn into armor with a large circular wooden on his back, a mace at his side and a heavy coat that's seen better days. He excreates an air of nonchaluantism that permiates down to the large dog at his side, that seems to highly resembles a timber wolf. The other man a rotund elf with black skin, fiery red hair and eyes which seem to flicker like a camp fire in the night. Is almost a polar opposite to the hide covered traveler. Wearing a suit of armor that combines padding, carefully placed steel reenforcements, and a series of mirriored pannels to create a piece mail suit that appears most arcane. Over this he is wearing a black embossed leather coat and expensive leather shoes. With a heavy leather bound book at his waist, an engraved longsword at his hip and an ebony bow on his back, he breeds suave confidence yet in the process seems to bring a loathing into your spine, like the arrgant bastards that drive the BMWs that cut you off at the light.
As you motion your horse forward to continue into the town, you hear a muttering from the wearied traveler saying "Mud farmers, Great, this isn't going to go well." And at the same time the other elf loudly states "Well these peasants look like they could use a little fire to get things started, and lucky me I get to be the tinder." After which he lets out a little chuckle.

OOG: Hommie give me a moment to write up the entrance to the town or you can call me and I can give it to you while I write it up so you can take a few minute break so we each can have a smoke or something.

As you arrive in to Thermopolie proper the stench is quite palpable, and seems to stick in your throat. The town is mostly shut down for the night, but from what you can make out in the dark, in the settlements courtyard there is a large fountain and tile florring in terms of stuctures it has one large stone building about four stories tall, and aprox. four hundred feet long, its door is ten feet wide and about fifteen feet tall, with only one window that you can see. In addition there is three smaller buildings that appear to be workshops of various sorts, with the last building in the square looking as close to derelict as possible yet still being standing.

Ok as you look around you notice that all the buildings are locked up tight, and the tiles that make up the courtyard have scratches in them that probably came from some sort of beast. Also from the way things are setup the guard (if there is one) finds you in all probability you'll be breaking several laws.
Would you like to investigate any of the buildings more closely if not either way you recall that the homesteads are all spaced at least 200yds from this courtyard
