Please do not read this unless you are Mace.
T'Deer, Robert and Mapkus had camped out in the Canadian wilderness. After having three roomies for some time, they had become alone again and realized they needed supplies such as food, basic toiletries, staples, etc. It was time to come to town.
Along the way, they had been harassed by quite an unusual pair: A Hubologist by the name of Mr. Wallace Kernsey, apparently a local man who had acquired a machinegun, and a Floateye Mr. Wallace had apparently been able to either import or find. All the two had were a wallet with a few thousand dollars, ID and various personal paraphenalia, the machinegun and ammunition for it (Robert's computer identifies the machiengun as the SIG SG 550), and the Doctrines of Hubology.
Now as they moved, despite it being a clear day in a not especially snowy part of Canada, the snow was coming down in sheets...

Ta'Deer will turns his shields on to a minimal level to keep the snow off his person. Robert's fine in his armor, but Mapkus will have to pull his long coat up over his head a bit. As they go, they'll all reload their weaponry, Robert showing Mapkus how to load the machine gun they just acquired, and having him keep it in the bag so it doesn't get damaged by the cold.
Seeing the snow as a bit weird, Mapkus will use Presence Sense.

Mapkus detects one presence, but it is not supernatural, not necessarily evil, and he can't get a lock on its proximity or direction.

Mapkus alerts the others to the presence and to keep on their guard. Just because something isn't evil doesn't mean it won't attack. Robert draws his assault rifle and keeps it pointed to the side, staying to the back of the group. Ta'Deer and Mapkus stand shoulder to shoulder (Mapkus on the right), Map with his pistol in a left-handed shoulder holster, unbuttoned for easy access. Ta'Deer holds his bow at ease. The three stay close. Robert keeps his cloaking device on standby, ready to be clicked on by his AI at a moment's notice so he can keep his focus on the surroundings.

A voice rings through the thick coat of snow. "One minute".

All three of the men stop and look around, trying to track where the voice came from. Mapkus asks, "One minute till what?" A random person in the woods saying 'one minute' is a little unnerving. Robert begins to look around slowly, cautiously, as if he was preparing himself put a bullet in the voice, as intangible as it was.

At this point, the snow buckles underneath them. For a brief moment, Robert sees what must be the result of staggering skill. In some areas, the snow crumbles into snow, while elsewhere it is packed. The result is all three trapped in ice up to their necks. "Yeti's Trap!", a voice calls out through the blizzard.
Robert, Ta'Deer and Mapkus can now act. They are thoroughly trapped, indeed finding it hard to even breathe. Ta'Deer's shield is something that apparently the assailant didn't anticipate, giving him a very thin area within which to move; meanwhile, Robert does have air filtering and other utilities in his armor that also give him some mobility. Mapkus is not so lucky: He may drown on snow soon.

How much can Mapkus lift with his telekinesis? Robert will reach for the plasma sword grip on his right leg and turn it on /away/ from his body. As much as possible, anyway. The plasma should melt away lots of snow right when he turns it on so he can move it away. Since the plasma will melt the snow so soon, it most likely won't have a chance to damage his armour before he can move the weapon away. He'll be very slow and deliberate with his weapon, making sure not to hurt himself or his companions as he melts the snow around them all. Robert will keep his sword above the pool of water that develops around them from the melted snow, so as to not superheat the water and scold them all.
Since there is more mass when the water is frozen, once it melts it shouldn't be high enough to drown any of them. Ta'Deer will draws back his bow, forming an arrow and Mapkus points his gun towards the edge, both preparing to shoot to kill at first chance.

In raw lifting force, Mapkus can probably pump enough when not driven by spirits beyond his normal level to lift around 200 lbs, but remember, it's not just how much force, it's how fast that force can propel an object, how precisely it can be applied, etc.
How will Robert reach for it? Remember that despite the armor he is pretty much covered in solid compacted snow leaving him maybe a millimeter to work with.

"Rob, I'm going to lift your sword into your hand, feel for it." Mapkus will use his telekinesis to lift the grip from the shin holster just enough to be clear of it. Once he's managed that, he'll make it stand straight up, then slowly spin up to push the snow aside and up into Robert's hand.

Mapkus finds this process very difficult. Operating by the very muffled sound of their struggles and by memory of where Robert keeps it as well as having to guess where it is incurs them a massive penalty. The blade clears the shin holster... but stops there. Mapkus could not get it into Robert's hand. [Hint: You incurred a -10 penalty because Robert wasn't communicating back, giving you guidance and hints.]

With the plasma sword off the shin guard, Robert will try pulling up on his leg to rub up against his sword's grip, possibly activating it. Though his prefered tactic at the moment would be to knee/knock it up to his hand and turn it on. Ta'Deer will use one end of his bow and the room he has to start stabbing at the snow and break it apart around him.

Robert manages to not only scrape out a small area for his leg to work but activates the plasma sword. The ice is amazingly cold and amazingly packed, but Robert does manage to finally get the blade activated and can grab it if he so chooses. Aside from that, he has no more action.
Ta'Deer, on the other hand, finds his efforts to be counter-productive: The bow is actually compacting the snow more, though it does give him a bit more breathing room. He has more action.

Robert will grab his sword's handle. Ta'deer will draw his bow since there's a bit more space, and though it may not be much space, the bow isn't completely reliant upon his physical strength. He'll fire it straight away from him as possible. No one should be at risk of being hit.

Robert has his sword now, though not a lot of room to move.
The arrows begin to cut large chunks of the snow, freeing Ta'Deer's feet and causing the snow to break up around him. Robert and Mapkus' snow is also weakened.
Unfortunately, Ta'Deer's focus on firing and his eagle eye honing leave him vulnerable. "Yeti's Claw!" There is a streaking rush of snow that first blinds Ta'Deer then smashes his shield down to almost nothing. Ta'Deer then sees a rushing blade coming at his stomach. He can't even see his attacker amidst the snow and the sheets.

Robert will activate his sword, which should melt the snow almost instantaneously. He'll sweep the blade up to cut away and melt snow between him and Ta'deer. With his helmet on and various sensory input, is he able to see the attacker?
Mapkus, if he can see the attacker, will try and pull his arm and pistol up out of the snow and try to pull himself up.
If Ta'Deer can defend, he'll try and bat the weapon away with his bow, praying that if that fails his armour will protect him enough to make this a less-than-lethal blow.

Robert is melting the snow rapidly, but it is not at all instantaneous. For some reason, the snow is compacted quite intensely. [FN: 273 on next turn]. It is not anyone's attack yet, only Ta'Deer's dodge.

Ta'Deer will attempt to bat the blade away from him with his bow, from right to left.

The last thing that happened last night on MSN: "OW! Christ..." Mapkus starts clawing his way out of the snow, waving off any further attempts at Robert or Ta'Deer's help with their weapons. Ta'Deer helps Mapkus with the digging while Robert draws his gun and keeps watch."
Mapkus amazingly finishes the job but is still stuck in the pit. Robert due to spending so much time assisting Mapkus does not notice the boot kicking him into the pit with Map, pinning both at least until Robert can push up through the crumbly snow or Mapkus can push past Robert's heavy armor. Now that Ta'Deer is leaning down, a blade comes down from behind and removes his head in one clean stroke.
OOG: You can load if you'd like, but it'd be back at the cabin before the Hubologist. Or you can hope to get Ta'Deer revived.

(...Would it be possible to change Ta'Deer a bit? Frankly I just don't like working with a character like him. Not my style, really. I'm thinking more rapid-fire and lanky than large and slower. I'm willing to start over if that's possible. But I just don't see him fitting in well. May need to develop them a bit better as well, I really didn't prepare my characters well for any situation.)

OOG: Yes, I suppose if you're loading, but you don't have a really good tank without Ta'Deer.
