Outbreaks are when the virus spreads out and infects alot of people. These zombies then turn on any available food source including animals, who turn into differant mutants. They can rot or even turn into forms of B.O.Ws that where later used, but they are outbreaks if the infection was un intentional.

Zombies point value:10 hp:250 packs:2-10 attack types: bite (10-30), punch (20) exp value 20
A zombie (in the Resident Evil series) refers to any person that has succumbed to the T-Virus(either, through contaminated water supply, airborne exposure or via rodents) and has been turned into a reanimated corpse that feeds on human flesh. Zombies are the cannon fodder of T-Virus bioweapons. The incubation period for the virus varies depending on the circumstances. A human will eventually turn into a zombie some time after the initial exposure to the virus, this can be a week in some cases though it is generally within a few hours, sometimes even minutes. This is usually after being heavily injured or killed by a T- Virus carrier. The most notable symptom prior to mutation is the itchiness that results from the carrier's increased metabolism.
A zombie has lost any sense of reasoning and is driven completely by instincts. A zombie will pursue its prey, until it has lost enough blood or through decapitation or complete destruction of the head. A zombie can resist several gunshots from a typical 9mm handgun before falling down, but can be easily killed with either: a well-aimed shotgun blast to the head or a high-caliber magnum handgun. However, there are also rare hyper zombies (not to be confused with "Crimson Heads") that will approach its prey very fast and are resistant to shotgun blasts.
A zombie will continue to pursue its prey even after losing its limbs or lower half of the body. Zombies that have lost the use of their legs (either through deterioration or a well-aimed gunshot) will instead momomanically crawl towards its prey until they can bite their prey's leg. They can easily be stopped with one good stomp or kick to their head. Other zombies will lay dormant on the ground due to their lack of nutrition, but will bite anything that comes to their direction. Some zombies will pretend to be dead on the ground, only to rise up after a determined period has passed. The only way to determine a zombie's death is by checking whether there's a pool of blood under their body.
Crimson Head Zombies point value:40 hp:500 packs:1 attack types: bite(20-60), slash(50) jump slash(90) exp value 500
A Crimson Head (or V-Act) is a type of zombie. After the T-Virus infects a normal human being, it rapidly initiates a brain cell decline, but should the new zombie be knocked out. After a time, the zombies cell tissue regenerates and is more fresh, making it able to run. The T-Virus gives a little more intelligence to the monster, causing deeper necrotizing effects and terrible blood seeping, giving it a crimson skin, small claws, heavy resistance to common firearms, and a more aggressive attitude. Capable of a crouching sprint, clawing attacks, and limited jumping, a Crimson Head presents a significant threat to all but a heavily armed combatant. Essentially rendering sidearms useless if you do your doomed, engagement with anything but an explosive or shotgun is highly discouraged.
Cerberus point value:15 hp:200 packs:2-5 attack types: bite (40), draging bite (40+5 every 3 Seconds) exp value 25
A Cerberus or zombie Dog is a Dobermann that has turned into a bloodthirsty hell-hound as a result of the T-Virus and now attacks any living thing that comes into their proximity. They're faster and more aggressive than a regular human zombie. These dogs have parts of their internal organs and rib cage partially exposed. Although, the terms Cerberus and Zombie Dog are usually used almost interchangeably, there's a huge difference between a Cerberus and the average Zombie Dog.
A Cerberus was used as a test subject by Umbrella to test the effects on the T-Virus. They were given the code number of MA-39 and were named Cerberus after the mythological three-headed guardian of Hades. The Cerberuses were seen in the Arklay Research Facility (in Resident Evil) and running amok in the Arklay forest area (this pack was the one that killed Edward Dewey and Kevin Dooley, as well as Joseph Frost). Of these, most present some internal weakness, which points to a weakness in their viral strain. A few Cerberi were also being transported within the Ecliptic Express (in Resident Evil 0) inside the train's Freight Car.
A Zombie Dog on the other hand, was created through accidental exposure to the T-Virus as a result of a viral outbreak. The Zombie Dogs seen in Raccoon City (in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis) were police dogs that ate contaminated dog food and became zombies. The Zombie Dogs in Rockfort Island Military Training Facility (in Resident Evil Code: Veronica) were military dogs used by Umbrella's Special Forces. Still, of these, most only experience slight skin necrotising effects, rendering their muscles in a near-perfect state. Aggression level is also increased, making them exceedingly dangerous.
Crows point value:1 hp:5 packs:5-20 attack types: bite (5 per hit (5)) exp value 1
During the initial viral outbreak in the Arklay Mountains, as well as in the later outbreak in Raccoon City, most of the crows were immediately infected with the T-Virus after eating the dead meat of an infected creature(alive or dead as zombies are immune to pain). An infected crow might resemble a regular crow at first, but will immediately attack any living creature that wander into its territory with their sharp beaks. Also, an infected crow is not as sensitive to loud noises as their regular counterparts.
Bats point value:1 hp:5 packs:5-20 attack types: bite (5 per hit (5)) exp value 2
The infected bat is a large-sized T-Virus infected vampire bat seen inside the cathedral in Umbrella's Management Training Facility. It goes after its prey by calling out the assistance of other regular sized infected bats. There were also infected bats in Rockfort Island during the viral outbreak, but these showed no sign of size increase and could be easily deterred by light, an element they're so vulnerable against even a lighter is effective as a deterrent. Leech point value:1(100) hp:5(500) packs:15-30 attack types: bite(5 every Second), acid (200) exp value 2(200)
Leeches infected with the T-virus become increasingly aggressive. They also seem to possess a collective intelligence, and often seem to act as a single entity. When a large enough brood of leeches come together, they assemble into a humanoid form. Named Mimicry Marcus due to its tendency to secrete an adhesive fluid in the shape of James Marcus, its arms and limbs can extend to strike at targets at a long distance away. If it can manage to grab a hold of a victim it will soak it with an acidic secretion. It is so resilient that it will survive having its head torso and arms completely blown away. In doing so, it will swell to an enormous size, back the hero into a corner, and explode causing a phenomenal amount of damage.
Leech Man point value:1000 hp:infinite packs:1 attack types: random exp value 2000
A leech man is created when a massive amount of leeches in Raccoon Hospital (not related to the leeches spawned by the reborn James Marcus) attach to a dead human. The leeches took control over the host and controlled it like a puppet, chasing and feeding on any living humans or blood supplies to gain sustenance. It can go into any room by the ventilation holes on the ceiling in rooms of the hospital to find blood, so it is advised not to stay in a room for more than 30 seconds unless necessary.
The leeches that covers it allows the Leech Man to be invulnerable to bullets because of the numerous targets that cannot be all hit at the same time, meaning that if he is shot only a stunning effect will occur. When it is tackled it will also have a stun effect. The Leech Man is only susceptible to very high heat as found in the high/low temperature experiment laboratory in the basement of the hospital.
Black widow point value:20 hp:450 packs:2-4 attack types: bite (200+poison) exp value 40
The Black Widows were B.O.Ws that were developed based on data collected from the Giant Spiders in Raccoon City and as their name suggest, they were developed by implanting the T-Virus into black widow spiders. They were sent to Rockfort Island (in Resident Evil Code: Veronica) for training purposes. However, one of the Black Widows was transferred to the Antarctic Facility and evolved into the Giant Black Widow as a result of the environment change. Like Web Spinners, the Giant Black Widow will release its offsprings (referred as Little Spiders) from its abdomen after destruction
Giant Spider point value:25 hp:500 packs:2-4 attack types: bite (200+poison), when it dies it makes 100 baby spiders (bite 5+poison 1pt each) exp value 40
There has been several spider-based B.O.Ws and irregular mutants created as a result of Umbrella's experimentations with the T-Virus. Common characteristics between these creatures are their abnormally large size (almost to human proportions) and their ability to spit venomous acid that can only be treated by blue herbs.
The first were the Web Spinners, born in the Arklay Research Facility (in Resident Evil). Ironically enough, these spiders lost their ability to spin webs due to their large sizes. However, they still retain their ability to crawl over walls and ceilings and will leave behind a swarm of Baby Spiders from their abdomen when killed.
Black Tiger Spider point value:1000 hp:4000 packs:1 attack types: bite (500+poison) exp value 200
The Black Tiger (seen in the facility's Underground Tunnels) is a type of Web Spinner that has underwent further mutation. It's twice the size of a regular Web Spinner and has its ability to spin web restored. Yawn point value:100 hp:18000 packs:1 attack types: bite (700+poison) exp value 250
The Yawn is a snake-based B.O.W. that was originally a specimen that escaped from the laboratory and grew to large proportions as a result of exposure to the T-Virus. It got its name from the lab's researchers due to the fact that it appears to be yawning before swallowing its prey. The Yawn's most distinguishing characterisitics is the inconsistency between its width and length. Its movement and attack patterns resembles a regular snake. However, its fangs are coated with a potent venom that can only be treated with an unusually powerful serum found in the mansion's medical storage room. If the wound is not treated in time, the victim will be immobilized and eventually killed by the poison.
Crocodile point value:100 hp:4500 packs:1-2 attack types: bite (350) exp value 130
These are a very vicious species and are mutated. They are huge and they attack with massive jaws. No escape unless you trap them in the sewer pipes and fry them with the flamethrower or rocket launcher. Grave Digger point value:100 hp:2500 packs:1 attack types: bite (250-400) exp value 350
A huge, heavily armored worm-like creature in the Resident Evil series of games. Apparently exposed to massive amounts of the T-Virus, the worm has mutated to enormous size. It retains the ability to burrow underground, and it prefers a subterranean environment to above ground areas, although it will surface if hunger overwhelms its natural instincts. It has also developed four long mandibles, which it uses to drag prey into its gaping, tooth-filled maw. It usually attacks prey with lunging and/or biting attacks, using its huge bulk to force its prey into a corner, where it can trap and devour it.
