Evan rushes forward, not getting a grab but getting a colossal tackle instead. He has more turn and Wyatt has an opportunity to go for the stab (Wyatt's choice happens before).

Wyatt stabs the octoman in the ribs. Excalibur does not kill but it does subdue... but not in this case, as the Octoman remains acting, even getting a stranglehold on Wyatt! The octoman and Evan struggle, but the octoman somehow is exerting more force and Evan is losing a grip.
The octoman now swings its weapons at the two. Parries.

Evan will roll off the octoman at the last second in hopes to cause the octoman to hit himself.
Wyatt will use Excal to parry the blow.

Evan manages to leap away successfully, and the poor creature does impale itself. Unfortunately, Wyatt is caught off guard and struck with critical force. His barrier takes a noteworthy hit. Evan and Wyatt's turn, the octoman 's tentacles are now spread out.

Fight enemies of different styles (luckily there is a dojo somewhere for this) until your own unique combat style becomes formed. When your Secret School is reached, you not only can teach it, but you can combine abilities from Forbidden up to some eligible Ts, form Transgressives from composite Forbiddens (how Chronanova was originally made), and it actually becomes considered a school, much like Kung Fu or Kenpo Karate!
I should note: Laura, Jerry and Brent would already have it. Mace needs to acquire it. However, all four can play it out for Awards.

Huh. Alrighty. Why would they already have it? And I'm still trying to figure out what Mace's general strategy is for combat anyway...just seems to be the kind to blow everything up and be done with it. I figured Brent would've been the best for a style.

Because when they were earned, that was standard. This is for martial arts certification, so you have to be doing at least partially martial art stuff. I think Jerry and Laura are actually more likely for a unified martial arts style than Brent.
