Those who either use or inscribe mystic tattooes have only scratched the surface. Millions of tribal races use tattooes of various potency and symbolism, and since each one of these races may have hundreds of distinct ethnicities, the number of possibilities are mind-boggling. Of course, most of them are Normals or Legendaries, but still might have a distinct philosophy. Then there are ancient Chiang-Ku, Yakuza and other masters of the craft. Any interest? Explore here!

Laura will switch over to her close-combat Shell and use her contact Shiata in the Yakuza to set up a meeting with a master for Brent and Mace. She only wants tattoos that help increase her power output and Brent needs them to store spells in when he's in a physical fighter form but needs spells as well. Mace, well, obviously he's in it for the power, so, any recommendations? If it helps, Mace can shapeshift into a more fitting look, so can Brent.

Is Shiata undercover or a CI?

She actually works for the Yakuza, but alsobecame a friend of Laura's for anything that won't have a damaging effect on the Yakuza.

Okay, so not a criminal informant, then. Mace and Brent could just accompany Laura for now.

Alright. Also I have a possible character that could join the CH through this mission, so if it's at all possible, could I attempt to convince him to join the CH? : ) And also, we'd need to head to Tokyo, so Mace will teleport the crew there to begin with, and will meet Shiata in a local ramen shop. I don't have a real character scheme for Shiata, so you can play her as you wish. She's generally pretty laid back and the honor-strict type.

Okay, I'll do so. At the ramen shop, Shiata orders a large beef and eel ramen with a variety of bizarre delicacies. She smiles as you four walk in. "Jerry! My brother!", she speaks in the low-class Yakuza dialect. "I ordered something nice since you're paying, Laura."

"Hiya, Shiata. Go right ahead, Lord and Savior know I got enough to throw around. I don't need THAT many guns." Everyone takes a seat, Mace ordering a large bowl of cayenne chicken ramen, Brent a bowl of asparagus ramen, Laura beef ramen, and Jerry just sat with a pack of cigarettes, obviously waiting for something. Mace remembers earlier Jerry saying something about it being more polite, in his eyes, that friends are served first, putting himself lower on the food chain and waiting for them to be served. When they're served, he'll order beef ramen and eel, like Shiata.

Shiata laughs. "So I hear you have this new gig at CH. Sure you don't want more guns than Jin has swords?" The server is surprised by this woman's flawless use of Japanese, not in the Yakuza tongue. "Who are these two jokers?", she asks.

(Surprised by Shaita's use or Laura's?)
Laura flicks a thumb at Mace. "Powermongering leader. Apparently raised by Fred himself. Cantomancer/Wannabe Mage." She grinned at Mace, who stared at her with a side-ways glance that left little to the imagination as to how much he hated her at that moment.
She nodded to Brent. "Some guy we picked up after kicking the shit out of a Colossi. He keeps talking about levels, affinities, ranks and some other bullshit." She smiled at Shiata, deviously in fact with a quirked brow. "I think I got enough guns for Mace's frickin' battlestar to need a U-Haul."

(Laura's).
"Ah, I see. Heard a bit about him, had big money on CH in the DT, got plenty from it."

(Who is Shiata referring too? And yes, Laura does speak Japanese, seeing as she can download it straight from the Net and from the LAPD database.)

(And you probably have the Omniglot Merit, and... The server, though, doesn't know that, but is also surprised a non-Yakuza is talking to a Yakuza so openly. She was referring to Mark first.).
