The recovering of Ashkalen the Segmented has opened an interesting question: what other Pheonix Lords of what lost Aspect Warriors of the Eldar and Dark Eldar are still out there to be found? What eons of experience are dead or nearly so?

Where to start looking?

A reasonable place would be the Eldar Craftworlds or the Warp itself.

The Warp sounds fun!

The Warp is a truly terrifying place, a realm of pure thought where the demonic and vile typically rule. Though safe places have been formed by the fighting of the Old Guard (the most vital was the defeat of Slaanesh), it is nonetheless not a place where one would want to go...without a guide. Swaggard's skill and affinity with chaos creatures would be appropriate, but if you four do not want to burden him, there are always the NPCs of the team, or seeking out a new guide.

Mace and everyone will go on their own to the Eldar Craftworlds. Any taverns they can go to that they can ask around for a guide?

Craftworlds don't really have taverns, per se. The Eldar are generally very spiritual and ascetic. But they do have cultural areas.

Alright, we'll go to one of those and ask around for any guides that know anything about the Phoenix Lords.

Biel-Tan has elite troops, so I think that would also allow for some growth strength-wise if we chose to fight them. We'll teleport there and go to a cultural area in the capital city.

Teleporting into an Eldar Craftworld without permission may be unwise.

Alright, we'll contact the capital city's running management. Visual communications.

An armored face, apparently an assistant armor rather than a formal military armor, appears on the visual communication. "Biel-tan Craftworld. State your function."

"Mace Parshath of Crashing Heavens. We'd like permission to teleport to your capital city to search for Phoenix Lord Armours."

"No Phoenix Lord Armors are on Biel-tan Craft World, certainly none we'd share with... outsiders." There is a strange hiss and emphasis on 'outsiders', as if that was the most diplomatic word he could conjure.

"Then we'd just like to come and visit then." Mace puts on a more relaxed, comfortable smile and seems to convey an aura of tiredness and need for relaxation. "The cultural areas seem to be of interest to my friend Brent. Would you allow this?"

"Yes. We will allow you full access upon the request of the Exarchs."

Wait, did he say we have to wait for permission from some head guys name the Exarchs? Or can we go in already? o.o;

OOG: No, he said, begrudgingly, that you have full access now. And the Exarchs are a group. Basically, Exarchs are commanding officers of each Eldar Path or Shrine.

Alright. Mace and crew teleport to Biel-tan, into a cultural area if that's possible. They'll walk around, asking for any guides knowledgeable of...how to be discreet...hmm...military history. They'll ask for one who knows about battle sites and such.

The Eldar tend not to have cultural areas, at least not areas open to the public. They begin right outside the space docks. The Craftworld lives up to its name: Austere, beautiful, a whole world encased in glass. [Not literally encased in glass, I'm being metaphorical].

(Ah, okay)
Mace and his team look around. Laura will access the databse to look for any guides in the local area, Jerry, Brent, and Mace go around asking people for guides on military history and battle sites.

She'd have to hack in - the Eldar, if you can't tell, are very xenophobic, even now. The ordinary people aren't too likely to share for the same reason.

She'll call Brent over for a joint hacking effort. He'll slip into her body and work with her system, seeing what she sees.

Main problem with that plan: No easily identifiable public terminals. After a bit, Laura perceives what is somewhat like a regular terminal... in plain view.
