So, I had gained that legendary evil spear and that energy symbiote and had currently forced my way into the tower after Evan and others had been damaged, ripping folks apart in front of me.

Indeed. If I remember correctly you blasted your way up the stairs, down the hall to your left, through a large ballroom type space, and into a side room where you met a large group of men wearing hardleather half plate and all in battle mage grab. Most are wearing browns blacks and dark purples, while the one in the middle is wear white. As you enter they all look at you, the one in the center slams his ivory staff into the floor and the blue orb atop the staff bursts into blinding light as a massive tent like barrier shields the 11 mages. The three mages infront conjure deathbolts and begin launching vallies. the two in the far back near the door (to the next room you need to get to) erect a barrier of red glowing smoke baring you way. Action good sir.

Xenocratis continues to use his prodigious speed and strength to evade the incoming death bolts and uses the power of the staff and his tower shield to attempt to power through the barrier and to the center man. If this happens, he will kill him quickly, take the staff and run through.

He slams into the barrier and it doesn't budge, or even wear down, wow nice roll 98 you notice some runes on the floor, suggesting the barrier is being fed by a layline. The massive tent barrier is also baring your way to the door. 3 of the nine bolts hit your barrier and boy crap they take alot out of you. You still have 3/4th of turn left.

You would attempt to feedback it and hope it pops but if its able to take the thousands of damage your dishing out under a constant effect it will either not work, or explode and quiet possibly kill you and everyone else on the floor and a few floors above you. Or Much Much Worse! You could feedback this layline node, and hae the discharge travel to each node and it could chain react. So yes you have a few tools to try this. The best would be Augment Energy Flows

Save and do what I can to take control of the lines. Typically spells that use ley lines have an all-or-nothing threshold: they need X amount of energy and if they don't get it they turn off. Xeno is generally pretty good at field effects and controlling mystic energy. Try to use the energy flowing through the runes to make energy stop flowing to some to change the meaning of the spell to something advantageous to mel. I have Spark of Life, so if I suicide bomb, I'm good.

Keep in mind spark of life only works if 51% of your body is still intact.
The field begins to flutter. Your hit by 4 more bolts, when the field drops. The mage in the center screams something in a language you've never heard before(I know tongues...but he only spoke one word). The other mages begin charging you, some of there hands are beginning to glow purple, others produce bone spears. The Central mage puts his knee into the center of his upright staff and break it mid-level. The energy surge from the staff is going to hit the runes after your first fourth stage of your actually turn after your parry turn. chances are its going to be a bomb.

Xeno will use his spear as a mental pivot point, moving only within the range that he could if the spear remained touching the ground and he was holding it. He uses his tower shield, prodigious strength and speed, and his spear (as well as backup forearm, claw, foot and shield bash strikes) to defend and attack, taking advantage of a strong core position and his size and bulk to throw around the enemies into each other, and, if he can do so without losing control of the energy flow (or, even more optimally, in synergy with the flow), creates an energy barrier. With his actual turn, he will introduce a geometric alteration into the bomb and rune surge such that it curls like a wave back at them.

Your parry works very well, one two are left standing by the end of the turn, you feel they have been endowed heavily, and are under possession, its a very unquie method of runing wizards. The bomb pops and the energy field works, but the problem is the floor is blown out, as is the ceiling, and the wall to the outside world. your covered in tons of granite stone. and in the main hall on the bottom floor again.

Xeno luckily can both teleport or lightning teleport: Do whatever is most feasible. Once he has done so, seek out whatever good resources his enemies dropped for a brief moment, or whatever enemies survived and are going to impede him. Once that check is over, begin to climb up the wall to where I needed to go. Xeno is glad that he has damaged the tower and has opened up a hole for his allies to get in.

Firstly, your mana is completely depleted, and I mean completely to the point you accually took physical damage...Im talkin in the 100k range for damage. You find nothing as the enemies were vaporized, even there souls were destoryed. Sadly for you, the barrier that stopped you from going into the next room still miraculously is perfectly intact.

If he can, he will use the leyline and/or ambient energy from the destroyed souls to replenish his mana. Did the explosion open up any new ways in, or perhaps a place on the outside I could go onto and then come back in through?

The leyline is gone...and the souls are gone as well, imagine a pure magic explotion, like an ultima bomb. What wasn't directly vaporized got shattered, and because all the people in the room save for yourself. got vaporized so did there essence, and as for the rules of magic go, when a combustent ignites, it devours its fuel, hense, the bomb was of a pure magic nature, it ate itself, and the mana in the room like a fire eats oxygen. The place is a mess and certainly not peaceful, so there isn't exactly a good source of ki in the room, and I do not believe you can feed off of psi energy, and on top of that there are no creatures to feed off of as everyone but you died.
As for you finding a new way in you crawl around the area theres a part of the castle that got shattered in the explotion on the outside. Into the next room. You can't fit, but you could try to break more of the wall out and make the enterence big enough if you'd like, or you could attempt to crawl up the face of the tower onto the roof and go down apposed from climbing up the stairs.

The ley line didn't dissappear, it exploded, imagine a current of water hidden under the earth, and it ruptures and explodes, causing a cave in onto the underground river. What happens to all that water if it isn't here. it went somewhere else. Same with the leyline, aspecially since all of these vains of magic are artifical.
You do so, and make it into the next room. Some stairs lead up, in a spiral staircase type manner, and they GO UP. You can hear people chanting at the top, but you can't see the top, its too dark everything just blurs, you'd estemate its probably 50 stories up.

You dodge the arrow easily enough, but the shield keeps getting caught going up the tower (I need to make this more clear, your more along the lines of scaling the tower from the inside, your two large in your current form to use the path, so your vertically climbing up the center of the tower.) You continue to block small arms(bolts and arrows), when you suddenly are hit by something way heavy and it keeps getting heavier, the dusty smell of rocks and earth hit you in the face. Risk looking around the shield?

there is no riding OVER the dust, your climbing literally up the spire, through the center of the twisting staircase. You'd have to fight through the 1000's of pounds of earth. plus, he still pretty far away, hense why its annoying because the fall is adding to the impact of the earth.
