Amdalus says, "I apologize, I find it hard to summon interest in weapons per se. The archaeological, work, THAT I'll find fascinating."

"That's alright...But you could take me there then?"

"I could, in Laura's or anothers' ship."

"Whatever gets us there, I'm all for it!"

Amdalus shrugs. "It depends on how large of an op you want. If you just want our little selves to go, then I will get a transport."

"Sure, just the two of us can go." Xexilia nods.

Amdalus begins to walk down the hallways.

Xexilia follows, rather excited for the possibility of better sight.

Amdalus leads Xexilia to the group's ship and mech yard, down long branching hallways until the two hit a massive door. It truly is a spectacular sight: Spaceships, mecha, land vehicles, sea vehicles, air vehicles, underground vehicles, even beasts are all stored, repaired, and upgraded. Amdalus takes the two to a small individual spacefighter and says, "I'd prefer to use this transformable one, but there are other options..."

"Anything you want, just as long as it can get us there." Xexilia smiles.

"Every one of them can", he nods, as he enters the ship. "Pilot or gunner?"

"Um...Gunner, I suppose."

"That would make some sense. But you are also a better pilot than I am. If I use my wing or propulsion, though, I can pilot well myself." Amdalus steps into the pilot's seat and smiles weakly. "You sure?"

"I'm sure." Xexilia grins lightly. "I don't think we'll really run into anyone."

"I would not be so certain..." Is Amdalus just depressed, as always? Lethargic and melancholy and thus overestimating the dangers? Or might be right, speaking from superior wisdom?

"Perhaps not, but what's life without a risk?" She shrugs gently, sitting down in her own seat.

"Why, life. Survival, y'know." Amdalus can be a party-pooper, it seems. The engines kick into gear, and the two head out into space...

"Well, an uneventful life's alright too." She adds as they leave.

Amdalus laughs. "Finally! Someone understands!" (Xexilia has heard the stories: Amdalus wanting to read instead of fighting Spira in the Dark Tournament).
OOG: What kind of area in space do you think would feel good to Xexilia? Feel safe? Could be a planet, black hole, etc. [FN: RE 273.]

OOG: Black hole would probably be comfortable to her.
Xexilia grins lightly. "Of course! I'd prefer to relax over quite a few things."

As the group moves along, an incredible burst of energy radiates across sub-visible spectrums. Microwaves like this are endemic of black holes. There's a micro-singularity nearby.
