What would Knives and Legato be without their own organization of maniacs to take care of them? Well, who knows, but Xexilia and Furax sure could use a new group.

The scary/cool thing is I had a character I made for a Trigun fanfiction I made!! Sorry, I've been role-playing dead as of late...

Why do people feel the need to apologize profusely to me? Anyways: You could earn this character by finishing the Heaven/Hell Seed, the Colossi missions, earnign with Awards, or finding them as part of this quest.

Would finding them as the quest be alright?

They would be weaker and I may NPC them depending. What's the character?

Staccato Graywinters--she's seven or eight, and her senses are so extreme that it's painful to her, but she can turn it against other people. I gave her the nickname of Staccato the Razorsense. It's the most obvious thing that I liked Legato way too much, ehehe...

That'd be apropos for the first Gung Ho Gun found. So would she have been sealed by a Colossus, will you earn her, or just find her?

Hmm, earning her sounds better to me!

Well, you've done a TON in the Darth Maul thread... Just have her. Same rules as for Xexilia, and she'll come complete with some ideas as to the rest of X's GHGs.
So, now what's the strategy?

For finding the rest of the Gung Ho Guns? Probably make use of Staccato's senses and have her point out any less/more-human-than-human people while they're traveling. Staccato could probably have some preferences to whoever they find; whether she likes them or not, but Xexilia would have much less of a closed mind.
As for their purpose...I have no idea.

To protect you and advance the causes of good and love? Or cheese and pickles?
Staccato has heard of an interdimensional ronin, Stargrim, who is a master cyber-samurai and has pledged to serve the first person who defeats him as his daimyo.

Ahaha cheese and pickles! Maybe to preserve Plants, including Vash and Knives, and keep them from dying or being stressfully used to power a city.
Xexilia manages to discover a relative area of Stargrim's whereabouts, and travels via a smaller version of the skull wagon Legato had once used.

That is true, fighting for the rights of your race not to be involuntarily turned into power sources would seem to be an appropriate thing to do, and there are indeed organizations that either specifically or generally defend the rights of Plants.
How will she find where Stargrim is? He travels from dimension to dimension through space, probably in a spaceship of some sort.

Would a transmission of some sort work?
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 7, 2006 22:45:09 GMT -5
Transmission of what? You, ala Instant Transmission? A broad-band challenge across dimensions hoping to get his attention?
Oh, and post a Staccato thread to Character Creation.
|
|
|
Post by sithofmacabre on Mar 7, 2006 23:04:10 GMT -5
Right! And I meant some transmission of communication, like contacting his ship via dimensional...radio. Aha... Or a transmission of her thoughts summoning him that hopes to reach him across it.

That's possible, but it's cry in the dark at best, and getting it so you attract him and only him could be quite difficult.

I have a feeling a screaming transmission of "Stargrim, get your ass down here" would fail miserably.
...
Shut up, I'm hyper right now, at 1:17 in the morning...

It may, or it may catch his attention. What message you going to send? I forgot that you have Staccato, hehehe. Largely because you never posted the thread to Character Creation . So do that so we can make your third character! Again, same rules as Xexilia.

Calling all Stargrims or the one and only Stargrim XD Uh...Staccato could reverse her senses to track him, and Xexilia could send a telepathic wave of "Stargrim, get over here!" or something to that generalization along it...or...something. It sounds like it works to me!

Reverse her senses into Stargrim's? Going with both plans?

Yeah, that should get his attention.
...
Or a huge migraine.

Staccato can't target Stargrim, unfortunately.
The message attracts some attention, however. A letter appears in Xexilia's hand, "Where do you wish to be confronted?"

|
|
Post by sithofmacabre on Nov 8, 2006 0:51:03 GMT -5
"Uh...here? I guess?" Xexilia looked at the letter in consternation.
"..." Staccato looks up at the sky, wincing from the bright blue and the glare of the sun, her voice little but a whisper--making even Xexilia kneel down to hear her. "Why not right here?"
"I don't think he knows where *here* is," She pondered, re-reading the letter, as simple as it was.

Any particular arena you will order in the WGR?

Whatcha got?
Perhaps something that has a neutral environment, so Staccato can stand it.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Dec 7, 2006 19:04:26 GMT -5
Will Staccato be the one engaging Stargrim? I figured it'd be Xexilia.
The WGR can produce virtually anything: Colosseum, swamp, forest... Stargrim is a cyber-ronin and therefore may appreciate something like a Japanese bridge over a middle-depth river, a Japanese castle, maybe a junk (Chinese ship), etc.

The bridge over a river sounds nice.
Well..uh...Staccato will be covering her ears and watching them them >___>
