An NPC. So something like a large arena with some pillars or maybe floating blocks or maybe a Q3A arena? You can also use maps from Google searches.

Okay. Before you really duel, we should probably work out your DIO. That's all of your familiars, turn extenders, automata, etc.

Across from Derrick is a red and yellow snake, brilliant and scintillating in its coloration, its whole body moving and creating a constant hypnotic hum. The hum is combined with a seeming... mist, a lullaby and a miasma together, making the form of dreams palpable and real. The snake spends its time flexing, and the sheer force of its stamina creates a powerful field around it. (You estimate at least Mod Forbidden Endurance.)
A great and noble lion forms. Its roar begins to track Derrick, shaking Derrick's muscles. However, the roar seems to open it to "harm".
The red ninja shadow begins to circle, building up great speed.
A silver blade makes a thrust straight for Derrick's chest, moving as if held by some ethereal dervish.
Two golden robots begin to lay down monofilament around Derrick to prevent his motion.
And a great number of almost completely nude men and women swarm around Dalas and begin chanting, as if he were their god.

Your Spirit Cuffs? The one that keep your power down so that when you take them off you'll be buff? Sure, but it may hinder your chances of tournament advancement.

This is a tourney? oh well yes i will wear them, it would give me more sense of pride if i were to fail that at least i tried and if i were to win that i was handicapped

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Oct 17, 2006 3:41:59 GMT -5
And if you do win when handicapped, it'll have huge benefit.
What will Derrick do in response to that?

Give me some examples

OH...feel like a moron ha! Ok so the spirit cuffs cut off my forbiddens and what not, but my "physical" attacks are still cool im assuming
Derrick will shoot the monofilament with the Blackcat and fire a caster round into the Lion at the time of its roar.
tell me of the DIOs i have access to when it would be there turn, and tell me what i can do with the blackcats turn.

Sort of. There is a complex interplay between physical and spiritual anyways, and the cuffs completely pin someone PHYSICALLY unless they use their energy appropriately. Yusuke couldn't even move and fell over when the Cuffs were first attached. Your Cuffs would reduce Tech, Psi, Magic and Ki and thus impact even gun shots.
Unfortunately, Derrick's shot meets the roar directly and simply is cut into pieces by the sonic resonance. The strings disperse the roar and crumble the landscape.
You should have: Derrick TK Force Black Cat Exodus Black Hawk Red Shadow Ninja Archie Robots Sometimes Robot Horse Mount Tzemke Hive
Will any of them engage in defense or preemptive action?

|
Post by Black Fox on Oct 21, 2006 9:58:54 GMT -5
I want exodus to turn on and encase in full armor
I want the Red shadow ninja to make attacks on the Giant snake(im assuming is dallas if not attack dallas)
Archie Robots Attack the opposing Robots
Black Hawk orbital lasers on all enemies
Tzemke Hive concentrate defensively and heal the team maybe 1 of those Giant Hive bugs attack

Derrick will also use aimed shot on Dallas and attempt to disable his arms

Dalas is the giant snake, but remember, these are parry/evasive actions, not attack actions.

They aren't up yet. Dalas, by a miracle, seized initiative and attacked first.

oh ok.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 19, 2007 19:02:13 GMT -5
So how will you act in defense in response to the above attacks?
|
|
|
Post by Black Fox on Jan 29, 2007 22:19:24 GMT -5
Tzemke Hive will use a shield bug to protect derrick and the rest of the DIO's that have HP(all of them basically)
Exodus will move to power armor level
(i remember i had an amulet that protected me with the power of the sun so if i do that is up and roaring)
Derrick will use metabolism forbidden and keep that to increase healing and keen(for dodging purposes)
Black Hawk is going to continuasly bombard Dallas
Archie Robots are going to put up shielding
and the Shadow ninja i assume will hide in the shadows.

There were no Shield Bugs as of the time of this post, but I've made it as a new Tzemke style. How will it protect you: Maybe full frontal coverage, circular coverage...?
So Exodus is now a full exoskeleton?
That is the Amulet of the Sun from South America II, great item, and yes, it is up.
Remember: The attacks are a roar, a circling RSN and a thrust to the chest. Respond with that in mind, in particular, and give me a hierarchy of events (i.e. "First shield, if that fails...")
|
|
|
Post by Black Fox on Feb 7, 2007 12:33:29 GMT -5
First the circular shield from the tzemke hive, second derrick is parrying any attacks coming to him, The amulet of the sun is up, and Exodus is also allowing derrick for more parying any shielding from that, i think i have an energy shield with exodus, and yes it is the full exoskeleton power armor lvl 3(any higher is a robot/mech). The roar will be blocked by hiding behind a pillar etc. if needed using energy shields or magic barriers. The thrust i will use some of my built up metabolism to parry. If any of that fails just go down the line.
