Same questions as everyone else: Special settings? Arena? Etc.

just a standard arena works for me

Yeah, that probably works for R too.
Brunnengus and his minions go first. (None of your Ranger or other allies). The arena is a sand-floored one that has borders that expand outwards conically for miles and miles up, giving a large area to fight in. Across from him is a purple and green mist.

Brunnenges will create his Transgressive Armor of Possession, and begin transforming into the Ultima Dragon.
The mirror defender will spend his turn observing R and trying to get a better clue on how to wapr its body to defend against it.
Have my Xroads wrap my claws in a massive cluster of horrible spirits so my attacks will cause status effects.
Fel gren will spit out a shitload of reality mines that react only to concentrated ultima energy. Dal Gren will start off by peppering the ground near R with concussive blasts.
The red ninja will go for a shadow pin.
My dreadnaught will do a big attackk designed to blow smoke and dust towards Brun and all the comrades and conceal him for the next attack.
Uther will begin stealthily laying sealing traps on top of the mines so when they get triggered it will be harder to get away.
The drain ghost will try to drain R's magic affinity, the defense one will just make the Pall on all of us. The third will try a mana burn dragon breath
Werewolf will do A Thousand Voices
Voidwalker will just go into the mist, see whats up.
The shark will fire off a shitload of missiles to aid in the dreadnaught's attack.
The beetle will try for a touch of the unweaver
Werebear will shelter of the earth
Abomination will swing a chain sideways thorugh the mist to see whats up.
the diamond spider will rip a hole in the ground quietly and start digging under the arena and laying eggs.
the daemonix will place vicious circles in different places, but will have them appear to be weaker because he is having them feed energy into the spider eggs(the spider will use the circles are markers for egg placement)
the rest will hold turn for parries, FOR FUCKS SAKE

I don't remember the AoP's effect: reminder? And more turn on Brunny's part. Brunnengus chants away, a mysterious effect engulfing him, and then begins to gracefully spread out, his energy form turning into a purple and red dragon with two great almost anchor-like spines coming from its back, an array of smaller spines further helping to channel a constant arc of gleaming magic along its back. The arena is lit up with a festival of clashing lights.

the AoP was an armor that provided incredible spiritual and magical protection and gave a chance to possess on any blow taken. Brun will wait to see if the mist and fog and dust and smoke effects work to conceal him, and prepare for a Grapple tooth rush attack.

Brun has more turn. He believes that the smoke effects do conceal him. The purple prismatic effect of the Grapple Tooth is created. (FN: OpRl Bn 285 R 288).
The Mirror Defender is out of its league in that regard. Luckily, it has more turn.
The mystic red blasts of Kaymat fire away, leaving crater after crater in ground that could withstand a sun's heat. The energy seems to be deflected everywhere, and R seems scarcely harmed. Fel Gren does what it can to synthesize such mines.
The red ninja fails to target R, but R's catastrophic field does not harm the ninja. It has more turn.
The dreadnaught's attacks do nothing, but they do form a colossal smoke screen.
The magic of the ghost's attacks slips away into the no-man's land that is R and have an unknown effect.
The illusions of the Thousand Voices have unknown effect.
The Voidwalker steps forward into the mist. Immediately visibility becomes nil... or more precisely, it feels that it is slowly stepping into the aperture of infinity, and thus its normal visibility fails entirely. Its shield keeps it safe from the swirling maelstrom around it.
The Touch of the Unweaver apparently is slowing down its ability to grow exponentially.
The chain is melted.
The Shelter of the Earth rises up in front of the team.
The diamond spider's insiduous plan seems to go off without a hitch.
Remaining turns, then R's assault begins.

Given what i learned of the field effect, i will put up whatever energy shields and barriers and reflectors fel/dal can create, then charge forward for a MGT strike (remember, ultima form dragon will have good protection from the field too)
the mirror defender will lead the attack, doing its best to make itself seem the main attacker for as long as it can, making way for Brun's charge.
the red ninja will toss a flash bomb in R's eyes as i do this.

The flash bomb is consumed entirely by R, and a blinding flash of Ultima energy erupts in response giving a flash-bang like System Shock.
Luckily, Brunnengus' plan is successful, his sheer power punching through R's inexorable defenses. Brunnengus gets a death grip upon the fellow. That is when the flash bomb goes off, and R slips out, beginning his turn by becoming a screeching bolt of near-infinitely fast energy that slams into Brunnengus (the Mirror Defender taking its share of the blow and getting parry turn) then begins rushing around and pounding away at minions and defenses.
Amazingly, despite almost blind motion, R does not detonate many mines. Worse, as it moves around, it leaves behind a veritable barbed wire roll of Ultima energy that serves to split apart the group.
It flies high above, the mist and field continuing to obscure its true body that Brunnengus saw for a brief moment. It seems to outstretch its "palm", and down comes a torrent of "wind" that seems to blow away or worse play off of the magic in the area and form a spinning maelstrom. There is now a full-blown apocalyptic storm.
Its containment energy unit rains down powerful missiles that serve to further stoke the firestorm below.
Through an inverse of Thrash's discipline, R begins forming universal barriers to defend himself from your attacks (similar to Spira's Protocosmos), then seems to be charging a rock-hard aperture of sheer "universe" at its fist.
R takes a charged item given it by Epitaph and tosses it at Brunnengus. The thing detonates twenty feet from Brunnengus, spreading pure mystic energy everywhere.
Its energy begins to permate and form, creating a repressive magnetic force.
Brunny's turn again.

Dude, he got 7 turns to your 18. Which mystic device? And Brunnengus is such a tank that he himself is not even really that harmed. You can also set it up so your eggs grow from the maelstrom. Plus all of your parry turn individuals can do what they can to the attack. (Oh yeah, add Sometimes Essence of Primorder and Sometimes Triad of the Imperium or Other Equipment to your Dio) . You can also summon additional backup, mass amounts of it, and your Gatecrasher powers will be perfect.
Also, your Essence of Amentos will defend you.

Yes, yes it is. A few of your other fights probably will take less time, and actually, this isn't too bad (i.e. I imagine you guys will finish this in a few turns).

Ok so in the small hazy area left behind when R leaves and from the attack he did and I did, I will go into Hildegarn smoke form to hide myself, and have Lokiarn leap up at R, doing a whirlwind attack.
The mirror defender will copy the mist technique i am doing, prepare for a parry.

Brunnengus has more turn even after going into Hildegarn form and preparing some Crosswind technique. Lokiarn's attack is rebuffed by R's arm turning into a colossal shield, and Lokiarn rockets back to the ground. He automatically goes up for a second round and this time strikes, but is then hit by the Ultima blade as R brings it back in. He falls to the ground again and is tumbling at the end of his turn. Valqrex or Kaymat can assault.
Mirror Defender does its thing.

Can I have Valgrex or Kaymat catch Lokiarn and prevent him from tumbling, then send him up for one more attack along with blasts from Kaymat and maybe some aimed shots from valgrex?

That's not exactly Kaymat's bag, but it is Valqrex's, and so the Scourge of Air indeed does so. Unfortunately, Valqrez does not grant Lokiarn another turn, and she does not get another herself. Kaymat, on the other hand, does.

well kamyat is gonna go for a big blast that will explode with blinding light as it reaches R

Despite the blistering power of Kaymat's assault, R does not seem remotely fazed... but the blinding power does seem to make R hesitate. Kaymat has two more turns.
Other DIO?
