Brian silently boards the land train (was tempted to say 'man train' ... wait, that sounds AWESOME! the train is so beefy and manly that its called 'the man train'!) as for Mario's request

OOG: Gayer than a flaming rainbow circus spinning around through Castro Street on a gay pride parade roulette wheel.
"I was asking for a tactic, not an episode summary", Fred replies with a good-natured tone. "My Rose Whip can slice through many zombies, and my Ojigi can devastate whole swaths, so perhaps I will focus on slicing through his forces en masse? We could always try an aerial assault: I can support some of you on my plant wings."

"being carried in the air leaves you somewhat vulnerable and if you get hit hard enough you could drop someone. He still had a flock of zombie zu (I don't know how to pluralize Zu). Who knows he could have a Zombie dragon (not really an original concept BOF, also trying not to jinx us)." Quinn says

"That's why I was proposing fairly much a straight drop, from not too high a height. If he has aerial opponents, we will quickly see them and can nix the plan. And thanks to Kurama's training, my skill at mid-air fighting is not terrible. With my Rose Whip and plants, I can engage opponents omnidirectionally even while holding one of you. We must find some way to make the terrain work to our advantage."
OOG: Fred doesn't know this in character, but Ray can levitate on sand. Both of them working in conjunction could probably get us enough battlefield control that we'd be fine.

"We will have to check out the situation first wont we then." Mario says "I think it would be a good idea to attack from two sides, split there forces so they cant mob us as easily."

Fred nods, wood making an odd sound like two wooden joints rubbing against each other as he does so. "Reconnaissance will inform our strategies when we arrive. If we can indeed attack from above, then we can either insert ourselves directly into the necromancer and attack him while one or two teams split apart the zombies from each flank, or use aerial attacks as part of the flanking maneuver in the first place."

Black listens to his comrades plan, nodding after each persons point as his gaze shifts back and forth between speakers. Suddenly his eyebrow raises and he holds up a finger and interjects:
"So wait, do any of us know how to find the necromancer?"

"Okay well as far as recon goes I can send in a small sand eye and know exactly what is going on, and depending on the terrain I can probably kill all minor zombies at once. But yeah lets get the hell out of here we'll figure out some strategies when we know whats ahead of us, Ill stop the truck before we get too close and use my eye to gives us an advantage."

waaaaaaaaait... if say i... i dunno... SUMMON something... summons hit ALL right...? so if i used one... would it damage ALL of the zombies? if so, brian will keep this information to himself and silently enjoy the ride, taking this time to relax rather than get worked up over a plan

The group waits in the vehicle. Some are excited for the chance to test themselves, others are ready to fight for what they believe a righteous cause, some scared that they might find loved ones in the horde they are about to face. All are heavy with thought however and Quinn picks up all these emotions via his sword.
pulling up a ways away from there destination ray covers one eye with his hand as another is created from sand off a gourd on his back.
The eye wanders off into the town where the battle will be taking place. Ray sees that lots of buildings have been destroyed and materials carried off leaving lots of exposed dirt. He also sees zombies being torn apart by zu and being tossed into piles to create what looks like hulking piles of bodies easily 40 feet tall some taller. Even worse still is that at least 1000 normal zombies are around regardless other forces include 42 Zu, 8 of the corpse giants mentioned earlier, 12 of what looks like are flaming skeletons, and of course the necromancer.
When the eye spots the necromancer to rays slight surprise the necromancer just looks like some Italian guy, in fact the only way you could even tell he is the necromancer is that he seems to be casting spells on the undead and the area. The necromancer himself is 5'11 and lean fairly dark skinned for an Italian guy and has black eyes and black hair.
That is everything in the area, he seems to be waiting.

Fred whispers, "If the spiritual threads let us trace to the necromancer, it seems quite likely that each zombie requires the continued will and power of the necromancer to remain functioning. I recommend a blitzkrieg to the necromancer. If we do our job right, even if I'm wrong we'll have created an implicit location from which to fight." Fred then considers something said earlier. "Ray: Your sand eye... Is that Gaara training? If so, can you levitate?"
OOG: I believe that summons have an implicit AoE cap, as do All attacks (like when you cast Fire-All in the games, you don't hit everyone in an enemy army, only those immediately in a skirmish within you, up to three deep - so maybe at most 60 if they all literally circle you).

OOG: yeah freds about right it might be a little more depending on circumstance like if ray specifically caught up some in sand for you to summon on you would hit all in the sand regardless of there size.
Mario comments "Whoever is flying or levitating will be easy targets for the Zu so they will have to be careful to not to be brought down."
"Also I don't know if anyone thought of this but what are we gonna do about bad breath?"
"Shiiit." Shitpickle seems to be implying that if they split up they can reduce the number of casualties gotten by bad breath at any one time, also he implies that joes power armor would protect him from the worst of bad breath.

"I can produce an herb that should reduce the duration of the effect and might be able to prevent the Countdown. Also, if they cannot see us, they may not be able to target us. Producing a smoke cloud should cloud most of their senses. I can do so, and I'm sure we have smoke gas."

"I don't have to be close to help you all in a fight, I can hit a target most of the time from up to 600 meters away accurately with the saw especially against an group but I might have to be up close to heal anyone. I might be more effective with a shotgun or a different rifle because this is a pain to shoot standing up" Quinn says referencing the SAW.

"take what ever you what Quinn, we still have all the guns from the store, they are not military grade but they are new so its better than nothing."
"What I can do as far as the ground zombies go and the Necro is create a tsunami wave of sand and cover up the entire city and crush everything stuck inside, I know this wont help with the Zu but if the Necro is dead maybe the Zu will be less hostile, maybe less attentive to us, or hell even die is what I'm hoping."

OOG: Yeah, Fred was going to propose Quinn snipe.
"I agree, Quinn. You as a sniper can be devastatingly dangerous and function to flank if we need reinforcements." Fred has decided that he'll cover their entrance with a smoke cloud, himself entering on wings, heading straight for the necromancer, waiting to use the Ojigi until the last moment but using the Rose Whip from above. The Ojigi will get big and fat on zombies.

Black silently struggles to calm himself from his listening place.
Such a high risk situation! and with no save state to boot...
Black cracks a slight, nervous smile. His facial muscles twitch ever so slightly in defiance.
It's what I've secretly hoped. Nowhere near as I intended it, but I got my free card. I have my adventure before me the price being what it is for all adventurers. Chance of death in exchange for life being as simple as could be...
He exhales softly, his right hand finding its way to his sword's hilt. Black grips it firmly, taking a mental charge from its handle's smooth leather wrappings. A new sense of resolve washes over him as he steps into the center of his planning friends.
I won't lose. I won't die. Not as long as I have a party in front of me and a good sword to swing!
"Just tell me where you want me" he chips.

"its more supressive fire if a large concentration of enemies approach you I can thin, prevent or cut them off from retreat as necessary, I'm only worried about having Zu sent after me if I'm alone. That is what the sword and shotgun are for anyway." Quinn says.

"One of us needs to make a beeline to the necromancer. The moment you have a shot, Quinn, take it. Ray's sand attack will function to get us a stunning effect, that should let you get a shot. And we can't tell you where we want you unless you have an idea of what you plan on contributing. Cure Zu?"

Fred wonders why they're whispering, but shrugs. He simply hopes that they have a plan to reach the necromancer quickly through the horde. If so, that merely puts more pressure on his shock and awe plan.
Rapid dominance... Am I becoming like a soldier? Might I lose my humanity if I keep fighting like this? And, really, how human is a wood guy?
Well, I guess as long as you can ask the question, you're not insane.

"Okay well here is what I am going to do, I am going to convert all available soil into one huge sand attack, I will drown the the city in it then crush everything with in the sand, If everything works out then I'll have killed the zombies and maybe a necromancer. If he manages to get free then we are better off because there will be no zombie horde just him and the Zu. Unless Someone has a better plan and can think of it within the next minute or so."

"We'll put my petals into the sand attack. The necromancer undoubtedly knows about your sand sphere given your use of it in the previous fight, but will not anticipate the interspersed petals that can cut through virtually any substance. That should also damage any Zu within the right range and cut the necromancer if he doesn't protect himself with a barrier. The zombie horde may be able to come back up, but if they do my smoke cloud and Ojigi blitzkrieg will eat them up and grow the plant. It also lets me make my smoke cloud at the right entrance point."
