Last I remember, you had went into one of the doors and been inside a living stomach, ala Gluttony or Jiraiya. You had then come back to the second floor balcony and were exploring where you wanted to go next.

If I remember correctly, the physics got way screwy and we where using Jess's chaos thoughts to navigate basic travel to go through the center pathway from the top of the balcony. there were three doors, left right and forward we were going forward.

Yeah, it's not so much the physics (though those are messed up too), it's the geometry. It's non-Euclidean. No straight lines and such.
Jess and Jack walk in circuitous paths, sometimes backtracking, sometimes walking in circles, but certainly not going in straight lines or right angles. Emblazoned above the door in plain and rather pitiful looking lettering is "Ego". The doors open up wide. A great gray hall stretches out. From one side comes a mindless screaming, "Consume! Eat! Kill! Fuck!" From the other comes, "No! No! No! No!" Waves of force push from one side while waves of repulsion pushes from the other.

Jess "it's to savage..like my father, lets go to that one" *she points to the other door whom is emitting screams of 'no no no no!!'*Jack "Eh...savage as it may seem, it maybe our best to get the hard things out of the way first. Personally I'd like to come out of this sport'en some good fortune." Jess frowns. "Your going to eat those words by the end." Jess travels into the great hall of EGO with Jack in tow.

The door slams shut behind the two explorers. Now they can see that the hall is in fact a narrow girder connecting to many other girders, making a haphazard and ill-designed construction that is constantly swaying in the wind. It is all Jess and Jack can do to stay on their feet. Below them is a great sea of swaying flesh, producing a constant incoherent scream. From above is a great light forming an authoritarian fist, occasionally punching down through the structure and breaking it, then colliding with the wall of flesh below. Meanwhile, the flesh tries to consume the structure slowly, making the whole thing sink.
The flesh below is in fact a narrow bubble, underneath which is a great sea of raw desire. Falling in is likely not advisable.
A tremulous voice quivers from the center, "Help....me..."

I had an idea over breakfast for the little arena platform stick man.
Jacks going to HK Super Bomb him off the platform.
And Jessica will either throw up another hypocrisy barrier, or use her magi abilties to create decoy illusions of herself until to keep the little man busy.

...You're in the air. You're about to go down. You need to save yourself first.

Hmm I suppose Jess will attempt to use her magi flight abilties and Jack will try to teleport.

Flight and teleport don't work.

Hmm Then I suppose Jack will use his blades as knightgigs and graple them into the platform and pull himself back to the ground, Jessica will chain wrap to the little man and try to yank him off the platform and reverse the momentum.

The stickman not only is not caught, it grabs the blade and uses it to spin Jess around and throw her that much faster. Jack pulls himself up with a quickness, but now sees his companion plummeting.

Jack will us a reverse momentum spell upon Jessica.

Fortunately, Jack acts in time; fortunately, the spell works; unfortunately, all he does is quite literally brake her completely in the air. She gets violent whiplash, and the stickman is still holding onto the blade, but now she can't generate the force to resist. Jack has some turn proper. Jess can try something.

Jack will attempt Ranged Disarm (f1 lvl) Jessica will try to jerk herself forward using the chain blade and send herself into an accelerated bash witht he stickman.

The stickman holds onto the Chain. Jack has more turn.
She begins climbing up, but it is hard going and she's not generating the requisite strength.

Jack will attempt to use his chaos magic and assume the form of a stickman himself.

He is a stickman now. How does this help him? (He has more turn).

Im hoping he will be bound to the same laws as the stickman is by becoming a stickman, he's going to pick up the stickmans knife and start going stab happy on him.

Which laws do you want to not obey?
Jack can grab the knife. But that doesn't stop the knife from growing stick legs and a Jesus face and trying to kill him. Which it does. Jack is stabbed and loses his turn.
The stickman throws explosive temper tantrums, literally. Sonic explosions rocket at Jess and Jack. Jess is falling again.

Jessica will attempt to use the waves as latter rungs, and climb back down to the platform. If that fails she'll use her armor as a sound board and dissapate the sonic doom.
Jack will grab a few of the sound waves and hurl them back at the stickman like javilins.

I hope you mean up. She miraculously does that, surfing upwards successfully. Unfortunately, the moment she arrives, she gets an elbow drop coming at her. She automatically dodges, but now faces a deadly break-dance style spinning kick, and this one she doesn't dodge.
The stickman slips from side to side but is still hit. He nearly falls off the platform, but elongates his leg and swings himself at Jack.

Jack will wait for the stickman to get damn close to him when he'll do a thunderclap making a sonic blast just like the stickman to blow him away from him.
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 5, 2006 0:41:21 GMT -5
What will Jess do for the kick?
The stickman is thrown back and is falling back off. Jess is up.
After that: Jess and Jack's actual turn, but substantially reduced.
|
|
|
Post by Ainsophaur on Jan 28, 2006 2:03:03 GMT -5
Well I'd say jess would take the kick, and use its momentum to redirect a blow of her own, maybe a kick.
Jess will use a sonic blast as Jack did to blast the stickman off the platform, Jack will use another one.

Problem is that if she gets hit she goes right back down, with not a lot of appropriate space and energy to generate a counter-attack.

I see are there any lines around...kinda like those bars, something she can rip up from the floor or something so she can parry the kick?

Interesting, and this kick is in no way dodgable?

|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 11, 2006 0:31:47 GMT -5
I didn't imply that. It's fairly difficult because of the way its been able to keep her from generating energy or getting into a good position, but she might be able to find a way.

I see, well perhaps its not very viable but ill try anyways. Have her create a stickfigure wall to blok the kick, or amybe a stickfigure vortex to launch the dude off the platform. If not, I suppose try for a simple leaping dodge.
