A secret fourth component for Brunnengus would be to find Omega Weapon.

You can look for both simultaneously, but it might be a good idea to have all three components. Kaymat, Lokiarn and Valkrex acting in concert will be insane.

So was Dal Gren, yet in your hands it is something far more dangerous. Once you had the creature, you could add it to the Core. It tends to be around dimensional disturbances such as the Cleft of Dimension or the time frozen FF8 world.

could ikiru sneakily inform one of the souls in brun's body of omega weapons location and have it relay the message to brun himself?

Remember, Ikiru can be far more overt about his help now. Ikiru does in fact know that Omega Weapon's current iteration is somewhere dimensionally connected to Hael.

i didnt know if that was just justification for my earlier actions or what, but yeah awesome. What the fuck is Hael?

Hael is the planet TBX hail from, that has the Banbar Mountains, Gongamnos, Galathrion, the Jorochim Isles, Gorogos Frost Plains, Twanchena, Venecia...

...Ask around among the billions of people? Or try to seek out possible experts on the topic?

experts i SUPPOSE

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 11, 2006 21:10:45 GMT -5
There is an expert on the Weapons who teaches at a Rauteland university, a Banbar Skince Spaker of the Owl Tribe who is an expert on bio-mechanical lifeforms, the obvious monster hunter types (including Brunny's friends)...

Kalaii says, "Man, I WISH I had leads on the Omega Weapon! Folks have been wanting that badge for a long time."

"Do you have any clues as to monster hunters that would know?"

"My contacts are fairly dry on the topic. There is Ghrash, but..." With the word 'Ghrash', there is almost a spitting sound.

Post by halfhero on Mar 15, 2006 20:34:51 GMT -5
"Look, I am getting that you don't like this Ghrash fellow, so just telll me where I might be able to find him and youu wont haveto deal with him."

"Ghrash is an attention-seeking, publicity-whoring, powermongering bastard. He's overrated and gives all of us a bad name, and the way he treats his creatures is horrific. But he does happen to somehow have gotten good at finding legendary creatures like Omega Weapon. Beating them is another thing entirely."

"Oh, no, you got me wrong, man. Ghrash has had a worse track record than he likes to acknowledge against legends, and I wouldn't be surprised if the ones he did pick up he cheated on. Fuckhead. After seeing the shit you guys are capable of... I'm sure you COULD handle it. Ghrash is easy to track: Just follow the cameras. Let me see...." He turns on the TV, presses 1234, watches the Hunter channel, and says, "The guy's in Videll [one of the continents of Hael]."

So, we head over to Videll, but first, get hold of Ikiru and ask him to find out in what ways this schmuck cheated if any.

Ikiru doesn't initially know, but he may be able to find out. There is a simply colossal computerized database that the Watchers have been building of every person and their individual impacts upon the world (the psychohistorian Watchers have been big into that).
In a second, thanks to high sub-light and FTL travel, the five and their hangers-on arrive at Ghrash's city.

head on down, land and walk on up to the gate

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 18, 2006 23:13:36 GMT -5
Sorry, by Ghrash's city I meant the city Ghrash currently is at. And there's no gate. Will the team try to get him in public, knock at his hotel room, what?
|
|
|
Post by halfhero on Mar 18, 2006 23:14:30 GMT -5
yeah wait for him to be in public i suppose, head in to the city and have the more human people mil about the town in wait.

Ghrash is currently holding a press conference: he has a small following and is famous for such behavior. As the team gets closer, there are press all around, but the place is open save for some guards. Ghrash himself is one of the Agogwe, psychic proto-humans that are similar to sasquatches in African myth.

Kalaii simply fumes silently. Ghrash says, "So: Any questions?"

Brun: "Do you want to stop cuddling your ego up there and come answer a few questions for us?"
