The team that was hunting down the optics was practically done, wasn't it? Or was it actually done? I know we were working out the upgrades to the Angels. Anyways:
Optics Team: 1.Whitie 2.Karinka 3.Saki 4.Kurumi 5.Mia 6.Hurricane's Reach 7.Jenna 8.Huitzilpochtli 9.Mickey

All we really needed to do was figure out the costume changes, and that was about it. Though, I don't fully understand all the upgrades that the Angels done got and all that. Whee-hee!!!

Okay, that's what I thought. I have:
Karinka: Level: 31 Notes: New design has a dark and light heart, four triangles (head, crotch, two arms) that cycle the energy and make her Abilities: Triangle Shield Diamond Beam
Steel Angel Kurumi: Level: 32 Notes: Fluid water matrix, Meteo Heart, psychic generators, raises speed and magic/psi ability [the fluid water matrix is, if I remember correctly, designed to raise her power, flexibility and energy flow] Element: Water
Saki: Level: 32 Notes: Apex Heart of technology, tons of technological enhancements, Scar-like alchemical symbols on arms and legs to act as a converter from magic to tech Magic: (Flare – 20%) Esper: Bahamut Element: Earth
Then there was Mickey's and Huitzilpochtli's upgrades.
Want me to post your whole sheet?

What do you want to stress in Mickey and Huitzilpochtli? Both are heavy borg bodies, large and powerful.

Well, they've both got a pretty good balance of range and melee, don't they? I kind of want to keep it that way, but I'd like more energy for Huitzil, if I could. Maybe some kind of crazy energy beam thing. By the way, I only have about fifteen minutes left on the library computer. Will you be around at noonish tomorrow?

Huitzil actually doesn't have very much ON-BOARD ranged equipment. And Mickey could do a lot better in melee.
You want to improve Huitzil's sun powers or something? And Mickey: perhaps improve his nanobot abilities so he can combine it with his Technological Ki, perhaps also adding some melee skill like a reactive nanobot melee armor?
I have to be at class 12:00 - 1: 30.

Yeah, for Huitzil, that's actually pretty much what I was thinking. And for Mickey, that does sound like a good idea. Okay, let's do that, then we can pick out new outfits, God, I sound like a girl...
That sucks, 'cause the only real time I have to go online is during lunch at school, or at night, when I go to the library.

Ah, yes, I forgot Saki, Karinka, Kurumi's outfits. Hey, FFX-2, dude. FFX-2. Tekhmage takes Huitzil into the back room. Huitzilpochtli comes back out, glowing red and white. He looks at himself. "Finally. I have the power even vampires can fear.", he speaks in a thick and strange Mexican accent. Tekhmage points at a club and a shield. "Because Mr. Mercado styles himself after the Aztec god of war, I improved the similarity. The club is the Xiuhcoatl, the Turquoise Snake mystically known for spitting the flames of the sun. While I couldn't quite do that, I was able to create a plasma napalm effect both around the weapon and on the club. The flame burns hot enough to simulate sunlight, and also creates a fear effect that manifests as a burning snake. The shield is a back-up fusion generator that lets it be used as a hover disc, shield and throwing weapon. His barrier now manifests as hummingbird feathers, letting him hover and inflict bladed damage to opponents. And his energy, aside from being magnified, now creates a field of light that will slowly stimulate the healing of organic cells and control energy flows within it, increasing the damage of your attacks and blocking your opponents." Mickey then comes out, driving his tank treads. "While more simplistic, the benefits here are no less drastic. The Omega Borg is an excellent model, but I added various techno-wizard touches to it, allowing your friend a limited and regenerating charges of a few spells he may select. And the nanobots help increase the power, range and efficacy of his unique abilities."

So, basically, Huitzil's like a fiery, Mexican Captain America?

With a club and a passive support aura and cybernetics, so really the only similarity is the shield which isn't indestructible per se.

Yes.
So: what do you want the "outfits" (armor) for your Angels to do?

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Nov 16, 2005 14:39:20 GMT -5
Yes. So, outfits? What do you want them to do? Be all defense? Perhaps some illusion? Or strength-boosting?
|
|
|
Post by draco on Nov 16, 2005 19:14:58 GMT -5
Outfits can do that? I thought they were just different set sof clothes. Uh, how about some defense for Mickey, and strength-boosting for Huitzil?

|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Nov 16, 2005 19:23:04 GMT -5
No, Mickey and Huitzil are cyborgs, not androids. They use heavy armors on top of their cyborg body. Karumi, Karinka and Saki are androids and thus they would wear armor or clothing on top of their "skin".

|
|
Post by draco on Nov 16, 2005 19:25:42 GMT -5
Oh. Okay. Like I said, though, I'll go with defense for Mickey, and strength for Huitzil.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Nov 16, 2005 20:06:37 GMT -5
Okay. That's pretty much what their armors already did. Now the Angels?

I forgot what we had put for them, but I know we already had something figured out. I need some speed for Saki, 'cause she's defensive. Defense for Karinka, 'cause she's a mix of speed and offense. And maybe some speed for Kurumi, since she's pretty well-balanced.

Saki's chest cavity had increased in size to fit the Apex Heart. Thus, Tekhmage, smiling as he mutters about the irony of someone who designs weapons of war being a tailor, says, "This elegant and tight-fitting skirt is in fact a hover unit, a highly flexible one that can move on its own and increase its tensility (or decrease it) nearly instantly. It can detect motion and automatically evade, letting you get used to its speed."
He then unveils a second dress. "The problem with making clothes into armor is that they cannot be bulky, must be flexible and must be comfortable. But magic lets us get around some of these limitations. This dress acts almost as kevlar, but generates a repulsive field that becomes brighter with increased power consumption, letting Ms. Karinka blind her enemies and obfuscate some of their sensors. Underneath the hard 'shell' is an almost fluid structure that tightens up when struck and has a limited amount of magical energy within it to further transmute and augment itself. And the accompanying belt is an environmental shield that can also be used to send your advanced body into a self-repair shutdown."
Finally, he unveils a third, rather flashy (and revealing) outfit. "I apologize for the cut, but certain architectural requirements made it so. This dress, when worn by someone with the Meteo Heart, creates a comet-like tail with the skirt trailing out behind the wearer and surrounding the user in a meteor-like shield."

I don't think I actually assigned those four to go anywhere.I probably should, huh? Come to think of it... They should all probably go beat the crap outta Motor Ball, since I think the team I chose to do it isn't really all that great for the job.
