The main thread where this can occur. Tyrant provided the following advice:
"1) Attack Itek's group, which requires first discovering it. 2) Attacking her allies. She is a master of silver-tongued and silver-giving diplomacy, which means that all sorts of enemies of yours will be acting in concert to varying degrees. 3) Discover her plans and stop them. 4) Build your own strength quickly. Itek dwarves your previous foe. She could single-handedly have won the Tournament, had her plans included doing so. In the right circumstances she could defeat an Old Guard member, and she has figured out how to evade them."
Currently, options include:
*Stopping her from finding the Caster Cannon (see Swimming thread) *Defeating her lieutenants. One has been located positively in the Nightlands [Nightbane]. She also is believed to be associated with the cannibal Mace was chasing on Mars.

Cisero, Chosen and Poen (When I attain him) are up to it. We'll join the fight, reguardless of the consequences.

Aye, Mace and crew are up to the challenge. We can start by having Brent ask for permission to use Empathy to feel out any insurgents in the CH, and telepathy to find out what is on people's minds. He can also create a series of tests that change so quickly that it leaves the person who it was done to off-balance and easier to crack.

Cisero uses the force to find those with hearts that belong to Itek. Cisero uses Vile Dowsing.

Brent isn't the lord of empathy or telepathy, really, though he can help. Insurgents? You mean betrayers in the organization? You guys have no reason to turn inwards and a lot of reason not to.

Hmm, alrighty, won't turn towards the CH then. I guess we'll just have to pick on the suspects one by one. Any suspect organizations on Twanchea?

If the rumors of a renewed Dragon Emperor revival is true, maybe. Then again, there are known Itek allies out there.

Who are known allies?

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Dec 26, 2006 23:30:35 GMT -5
Well, "known" may be a bit strong. Lucifer's pretty clearly in cahoots, assuming he has indeed escaped Pandemonium. The Dark Dragons that have been plaguing Brunnengus, Renan and whose member Goda attacked the group going after the Arboretorial Codex T-Beast may be aligned with her. The Heilenian terrorists are almost certainly so, and if they are there may be Kryggorth Lesson and other victimized groups joining in. Big Boss appears to be as well.

In the past, Brunnengus has been their biggest adversary, trying to stop them from doing a number of nasty things, fighting their apparent leader Lord Ashalak when attempting to reach Noi Gren. The people in the Arboretorial Codex took on Doga.
Actually, you aren't sure about that, Hack. He may be neutral to Itek and only using the opening she's providing to attack you and crush his opposition, or he may indeed be an enemy of her.

I'll go talk with Brunnengus. We'll teleport there.

OOG: I'll NPC Brunnengus since he is technically James (halfhero's) characer.
Brunnengus is currently trolling around in the Grens, practicing his firing in the Veldt.

"Hey! What's up!? Got some questions for ya buddy, old pal, old friend." Mace grins happily. "What can ya tell ya about the Dark Dragons? Known rest stops, favorite restaurants, power levels, social security, etc. Anything will work."

Zenexoria, Xexilia and Staccato will help out--what would you have of them?

Brunnengus incinerates a massive mastodon. "I know next to nothing. The only member I have fought directly is Ashalak. Otherwise, I know they've been victimizing Renan of the Earth Eaters."
So Hack et al will do what?
At the moment, Zenexoria et al can try to find lieutenants and defeat them, or (the main thing) stop her from getting the Caster Cannon.

Alright, they'll attempt to keep her from the cannon.

(Caster...cannon? Laura would so be up for that.)
"Eh, Renan? Earth Eaters? Alrighty. Who was Ashalak?"

then perhaps we spould finish Keryis Issues with said All Father

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 12, 2007 18:15:06 GMT -5
"No idea. Just called himself Ashalak. Major dick, though." Brunnengus smiles and presses the contacts. "Another beast smote to oblivion."
How will Laura get in on that?
Zenexoria, Staccato and Xexilia have been told by Ash F, Ash M, Denios and Hinata that a woman has some clues. The weapon was supposedly castigated to the ocean, because its destabilizing power was so destructive to the weakening flow of mana. It also is believed to be necessary to launch a number of effects...
Finishing Keryis' little thing can go on in New Members. You did have issues with said All-Father of the pantheon, of course a vile demonic bastard, but right now you can't find him. And there is the matter of Galiardis...

true, if keryis ain't strong enough too....ohh wait we have strength buffs.....never mind that thought okay "Yes, brunnegus, yes he is"K Taklinn smiles in that way that immedeately makes everyone nervous "Umm, he's smiling, this is gonna hurt"A "Probably, well, you guys anyway, my tolerance for pain far surpasses yours"H "What's so bad about him smiling?"V "You don't know taklinn, when he smilis like that, it's ass whooping time"K "Yes, though upon closer examination i can tell instantly from his facial expression what his strategey is, not that i'm going to say"Z taklinn's smile hasn't receded in the least "umm....this is going to be bad"H "oh yeah, i can also tell from the duration of the smile a relative powerlevel and matter of influence, and this Ashalak, should be an intresting thing to battle" "Z, Ashalak isn't alone, there is a creature called Galairdis that she put there to guard him" "she?"A "Itek"K "you fought her?"T Taklinn's smile is instantly gone "i woulden't really call it a fight, she blocked my blow with a single hair"K "okay now i'm scared"H "something like that we need a conjoined attack from every person we have, and possibly even the reserves" Z
i'll post my idea for that attack on the combo tech's thread

Well, how was the CC noted into this thread?
"Ah, well then. I'll go pay a visit to Renan. By the way, you wouldn't happen to know some good technowizards for hire, would ya? Cheap if possible, but of decent skill that they won't let a starship crash and burn."

Zene, Xexilia and Staccato will attempt to pinpoint the weapon's exact location in the depths of the sea, then try to retrieve it.

Helvena and Kumo both are shocked. In a rare sight of anger, Helvena grips onto Keryis' arm with a fury. A steelish tint seems to overtake him, something that shocks Taklinn. "What name did you just say.", Helvena loudly calls out. Kumo seems saddened and introspective, a rare look for the little guy.
The original CC stuff began in the Swimming thread.
"That's sort of the point. I have yet to free Renan from the baleful influence of the Monster Delver curse. My Daemonix is good and the TW people who enchanted him are good, I can reference you to them... [FN: RE 30.]"
How will Zen, Xex and Stac do so?
