Tyrant's concern over CH encountering Itek is palpable. He wants to spar all of you to show what you're going up against!

Mace alone will try to fight Tyrant. He needs a reason to build up his strength to such enourmous heights. He cares about the CH so much that he'd go into the Undersea alone and kill every contact of Itek himself if need be.

Tyrant looks at Mace in the War Games Room. "Any idea for a field of battle?"

"Extremely large pilates studio with art. A bathroom, two massage rooms...ah, who am I kidding. Just go for the traditional Roman colliseum and let's beat the crap out of me." Mace smiles almost preciously at Tyrant, seemingly unworried, obviously arrogant.

A Roman Colisseum is created, shimmering into existence in the confines of the War Games Room. Tyrant nods. "Whenever you are ready... Ah, Rome. I do miss it."

"You've lived a long life, Ty. I'm sorry you've lost so much by living so long." He seemed genuinely saddened, even though Tyrant seemed to be happy anyhow. Mace unleashes a volley of mana balls, just to get things started.

"I've lost only one hting of importance." The mana balls are geometrically deflected about Tyrant. He points at Mace and flicks his finger. An infinitesimal projection comes from his finger, a complex line structure broken up at regular intervals. Mace feels himself struck infinite times, his whole form devastated, thrown to the ground in an instant.

"....ouch..." Mace just sits there, blinking, trying not to let the pain sink in too deeply. "Hey, can I ask you something? Why don't you fight Itek? Not for us, but weaken her?"

Tyrant sighs. "That is a very, very long story."

Mace sits down, making himself comfortable. "I got time. Unless, of course, you don't."

"It's not so much a matter of time, that has crescendoed into meaninglessness for me. No... It is that the story is dangerous for my essence to tell."

"Ah, so, tell and die. Wonderful. Hey, would you be willing to train me? Apparently I had an interest in science of some sort in a past life and was wondering if you could maybe...'tutor' me in your ways of magic? Or is that psionic...?" Mace looked up at him, obviously looking up to Tyrant like a role-model, even if he's twenty-six.

Tyrant considers. "I can do some, but again, transmitting my knowledge contains inherent risks..."

"What kinds of risks? If it's mental, I could always try partitioning my mind...and I meant just training me, not going all Spock on me."

"I can generally teach you things you could have come by yourself from other sources with little risk. Geometry, for example."

Mace stands up, looking at Tyrant. "This...is going to be painful," he says, his sarcasm evident but not with any sort of sting behind it. The mindset that he -is- going to win is what keeps him grinning.
Feeling a bit rested, he stands up and takes up a basic South Paw boxer's stance. But instead of throwing a punch, he rotates his arms to the right, fully extending them then sweeping them down and up to face palms out at Tyrant. The ground will form into a rather exaggerated cannon, exaggerated in the sense with a blunderbuss wide barrel and a round, bulbous butt, on a solid stand.
Using geothermal energy and the natural ingrediants found within the earth, the cannon launches a mixture of metal and stone, whatever's considered common in this area, out by an explosion of geothermal energy in the back, at Tyrant. A few feet from the cannon, it glows and acts like a Mana Super Bomb, with the spell Multiply acting on it. First it divides into two, though keeping with the same mass as the first for each, then four, eight, twelve, and so on.

Now an electromagnetic shape juts upwards, making the metal magnetize to itself, the stone smashing itself on the metal. The exponential energy erupts backwards at Mace!

Mace uses his mastered skills in cantomancy to create a diamond-shaped barrier made of both magic and crystal to block the energy coming at him, the shield only shaped like the lower-half of a cut diamond. The point is facing the energy, hopefully spreading the energy evenly across all surfaces of the shield.
As the energy moves evenly over the surfaces, Mace will start rotating his hands in a wheel fashion, trying to guide the magic past him, then to connect, spin, turn upwards, then back at Tyrant. Hopefully the energy used up against his shield will be compensated for by the spin he's added to the energy, making a sort of energy drill.

His attempt fails to take into account the inverted nature, speed and replication of the energy field, and he doesn't move fast enough, getting battered by his own energy.
Tyrant takes the opening now. Moving in an inerrantly perfect straight line, Tyrant crosses the distance between the two with pure efficiency. Now Mace is dealing with an almost ovaloid shaped tackle, like a big capsule crushing into him.

Mace will try and use his mathematical telekinetic abilities (training from Boaz) to push his body away from the tackle at a speed matching Tyrant. While pushing away, he angles himself to roll away to the right.
So, pushing while rolling away. Matching speed so as to not get run over.

It's not simply speed, it's the pure linearity of the attack. The slight angle slows Mace to a sufficient degree that he gets clobbered forward. Now that he's rocketing backwards, Tyrant again flicks his finger forward, replicating the same line structure that again knocks Mace down.

Mace tries to work the sand under them into a sort of interdimensional portal, wanting to get sucked under then appear right behind Tyrant, grab his feet, jerk suddenly to pull back the brunt of his speed, let go, and use his magic to shove a burst of sand with a time-delayed enchantment to super-heat the sand upon contact with Tyrant.
