I am asking both of you. I'll assume you for now.
The central hub, when the two pass by it, creates glittering letters arranged clockwise from the north in Renn-Mitte (luckily the two can read):
"1 - Power 2 - Anthropology and Psychology 3 - Security 4 - Astronomy 5 - Chemistry and Applied Science 6 - Theoretical Physics and Mathematics 7 - Computation and Information Storage 8 - Biology"
Sam and Derrick are going down Computation and Information Storage. Sam gets a danger sense ping fast!

Sam"Derrick..somethings not right, be careful"
Derrick" Hey im always careful...."

A bolt of arcing lightning dances across the floor. It is clearly a powerful Brrzap, something not to be trifled with. Derrick is struck and thrown backwards into the fountain, but Sam can dodge.

Gotcha. The lightning arcs at DI and Hack, both of whom can defend themselves. Hack gets a counter-attack.

Sam will jump into the air and float slowly back down(giving a cool affect and hopefully dodging)

The problem with lightning is that it tends to follow targets. It arcs up with Sam's motion and throws him into the roof of the ship. Sam's slow fall of course helps insult not being added to injury by having him then slam into the ground at high speeds.
The form that fired the Brrzap can be seen now. It is a tall, purplish beast with a staggering array of differentially-colored haircuts on its large head. Green and black speckles cover its body in constantly shifting configurations. It holds in one hand a colossal staff gleaming with light and in another a book. Its long, salamander-like tail is a crimson red, distinct from the rest of the body, producing chemicals in its slimy wake that Derrick, Sam, Hack and Inferno have never even seen. Its eyes glow with eons of knowledge.

magnetisim dude, okay DI is going to heat himself so high that it creates a heat sink (i've acctually seen this work) and hack is going, do turn himself into a lightning elemental absorb the lightning and retalliate

OOG: didn't when chris cory and i fought spekkio we become one with elements that described us...jes curios if that was more or less permanent because if so...derrick would have a higher resistance to electricity seeing as his color was yellow and his element was lightning

OOG: Yes, you did, and yes, you would, but the punch is sufficient that Derrick doesn't want to get hit by it. And it is possible to leverage heat to prevent electromagnetism from working. How can Hack turn into a lightning elemental?
Unfortunately for Dark Inferno, this foe is apparently a scientist. When the lightning fires, the heat raises the universal energy in the area and causes the electromagnetism to revert to an undifferentiated univeral force. DI is thrown back by tremendous gravity into the Bose-Einstein condensate, the sudden cool causing him to steam horribly. Ouch.

"should have seen the gravity coming, now you will taste the technique for which i am named" he starts to charge up a dark inferno, lurid metallic blue flames form between his hands and begin to dance up his arms (description of attack)
hack will respond with a sphere of the flames of war at Mr. scientist, if i do not see him, attack in the direction the lightning bolt came from

The Sphere erupts over the creature... Or at least it apparently does. Upon further examination, it is revealed that pressure is forcing the Sphere into a singular form. That singular form erupts super-heated particles as a constant geyser at Hack.
The creature's effect, unfortunately for it, magnifies the Dark Inferno, the blazing blue meteors igniting about him... And not harming it whatsoever.
The beast calls out, "You shall not pass!"

Sam coughs from the loss of breath from the attack and is on his knees clutching his sides"*cough*shit..*cough, cough*"
Derrick"You alright Sam?"
Sam"That hurt..."
Sam looks up and sees the creature standing in place watching them all, He stands up clutching his side eyes squinted and a grimace on his face"I dont think it wants us to go any further...looks like if we do, hes going to attack again"

It now stands still, awaiting the advance of either person. Laura says, "Ummm, guys, I think that thing's indestructible. We have to find some way of turning it off or getting around it." Bombardi seems surprisingly grim...
OOG: GM Fuckups to all, forgot about NPCs.

"I bet thats not the only one too. i was thinking we could have half of us distract it, while some make a run for it. doesn't look like that may work cause their is most likely more than one." Derrick
Sam stands up clutching his side shakes himself and stands back up breathing rate increased a little bit from the attack "Ugh..So, whats our Plan kids doesn't look like much of a choice besides shuting that thing down, probably 'reason' with us." He smirks and adjusts his outfit.
Derrick turns the exodus back to standby(where it is under his clothes)

Hack sees no terminals here. None in his immediate purview either, but perhaps closer he may be able to find it.
