The Alter Skull is actually the SOURCE of the power, not the power itself. You need to determine an Alter power (oddly enough, this gives Furax too, since he also has Zetsuei). I suppose you could always make an alter skull that produces toxins or some such.

So the Umber Rot is conjured, a creepy floating bio-mechanical corpse that rots together some toxins. The green dragon seems utterly unfazed, but the purple dragon seems grievously damaged.
The purple dragon opens its cavernous maw, and suddenly a beam of focused sound and force connects with Furax. It blasts through his every barrier and even gets past his Kuro Momotaro pain remembrance and hits for a critical modified 55. The dragon then leaps high up and chants. The wounds of both Brunnengus and Furax begin to hum and oscillate quite painfully.
Brunny.

The dragon meets the claw with its own... and beats it. But the sealing energy then courses through, preventing the dragon from doing any F2s.
It loses its turn, so Furax.

Desert Requiem the green one, but use Time sand.

A veritable waterfall of heavy pummeling sand rockets down at the green dragon (and the purple one, really). The purple dragon blasts away with powerful sonic blasts and forms a small cavity for himself, but the green dragon is crushed underneath the sand, though possibly not dead. Furax has more turn.

Inflict Negative Chi Illness on their bitchasses.

First you have to infect them with negative chi.

Furax blasts away with negative ki. While he does strike them with negative ki, their positive ki overwhelms it quickly. Furax has more turn.

Remember: Furax is not too likely to know all of the nuances of these rare dragons' metabolism, and you had spent some effort already at negative ki.

This time, the blast of the black energy of decay and unlife pours from Furax's hands and pummels a hole through the two dragons' spiritual shields, infecting them with negativity. Furax has an opportunity to use a Negative Chi attack now that they are infected.

Can the crossroads of the lost help inflict terrible spiritual illness on them?

Yes, it can, but the CotL is a little weaker here since this is Hell. Luckily, it does surge forward and catch the dragons off guard.
