The astral glow of the tunnel begins to blur and fade. Thrash finds himself on solid ground holding his grandfather who rolls in agony. "Keep it down!" Thrash's grandfather tells him. "I will be fine for now, but we'll both be dead if we are caught here." Thrash looks around to see a lush garden with foliage as far as he can see. Every bush has berries, every tree has fruit.

Thrash whispers, "Where is the artifact?" He strokes his father's head and tries to ease his pain, but it is more important now to find the artifact.

"There's a pomegranate tree in the center... Don't listen to the snake! and stay away from the gates, we must avoid detection of their guardian at all costs!" He whispers through his clenched jaws.

OOG: Really? Pomegranate tree? Snake? Are we really doing this?
Thrash nods. He bursts off, leaping as fast as he can, keeping away from gates and finding ways to move around the landscape quietly.

Thrash sees the gate as he hurries by. The sound of flame can be heard, and brimstone can be smelt as he passes. He arrives at the pomegranate tree as told as a snake pokes it's head out from one of the lower branches. It stretches it's self out and yawns as well as a snake can. "Well hello there... Looking for a tasty pomegranate? Or did you lose something?"

Thrash is fairly convinced that the pomegranate tree's pomegranates are not the prize. He seems to dimly remember that the fruit that tempted Eve was supposed to be a pomegranate. "Ah, my reptilian brother. I have lost many things and I am looking for many things, but I am seeking something else". There is no call to be rude to any spirit, even one I cannot trust. He tries to find the artifact his grandfather mentioned.

"Suit yourself." The snake says while trying to clean out his mouth with his tongue. "Plenty of fruit in this garden, no reason to come barkin up my tree." He states as he curls up into a more comfortable position to watch Thrash work. "But I would make quick work of it if I were you, I don't think your presence has gone unnoticed." Thrash hears the sound of Gates creeking open at the other side of the garden. The smell of Brimstone pushes in. "This place closed it's gates a long time ago, and the managment doesn't take to kindly to your folk comin back in." The snake seems to be smiling, Thrash briefly wonders if that is even possible.
(where on/in the tree will you look?)

Thrash shrugs. "Thank you for your assistance". He reasons, The most likely place one would hide an artifact would be in the dirt or a tree... It represents the opposite of the temptation of the pomegrantes. "If I were looking for fruit, I would not bother you". He quickly searches for nooks and crannies within the tree, then looks at the ground below to see if there's any sign of dirt that has once been stamped. He also look for any symbols of his people. He decides that, as he searches, asking a question would help. "If you could search anywhere for something valuable in this tree, would you search up or down?", he asks the snake. He knows that the snake will try to deceive him, and will go the opposite way of what the snake suggests.

Thrash finds an unnatural lump in the ground under a root. He only has to dig ever so slightly before he bumps into something. He pulls out a small fetish in the shape of a wand of beach wood, and several bones tied to it. The bones are in key shapes, but do not seem to be carved. Should this be what Thrash was looking for, it seems he was right to look opposite of the fruit. "Oh that old thing?" The Snake comments. "It's been here for quite a while. You should keep better track of your things."

Thrash smiles. "No, we had you and that guardian do that for us. I humbly thank you, snake, and I will offer you a favor at my discretion you need it". He grabs the item and makes sure that it is what he needs.
