"Oh really?" Touma says surprised "then I shall start my search for new members with him!" he continues, bowing.
"Thank you again, you are welcome at the Jujitsu club anytime...er...miss.." Touma stops mid bow. Realizing he doesn't actually know your name.

Although Setsu thinks being called "miss" is a little funny, she tries not to show it.
"Thanks," she replies. Mostly she's wondering how much time there is left, and wondering if maybe she should try actually eating something before she has to go to class again.

An exciting encounter now behind her Setsu finds that there is just enough time to eat lunch and not be late for class. Compared to this incident the rest of the day is uneventful and beyond normal. At least for another day at Onagi High.
Episode three - Just another day at Onagi - Completed!

Let's keep the ball rolling by springing right into Episode Four - String Born Resonance!
We start this episode inside the music club headquarters, Room 4-C, just down the way from the science department. Inside there are fifteen students all with varied instruments pouring over sheet music and tuning their equipment. A sign that the club activities haven't gotten into full swing yet idle chitchat floats about the room.
"Hey" an innocent looking first year girl turns to Setsu while checking over her violin "have you heard of the Phantom Fiddler?"

"You haven't?" the girl seems surprised. "The whole school is talking about him. Supposedly he's begun haunting the halls after dark again in preparation for revenge against the Double Dragons who beat him up last year" she continues.
"Hey, isn't there a fiddler who's involved with the Black Dawn? I remember there being an incident involving music over the loud speakers towards the beginning of the year" a first year guy checking over an oboe chips in.

"Between rooms B-5 and C-3 are where he's been spotted the most I hear" the girl says.
"Weird. You think if he had a normal place the Student Guard would have caught him already. Do you think he really has a hypnotic instrument?" the guy wonders aloud.

"Well I wouldn't want to go alone" she says backpedaling somewhat.
"If you're serious we could all go together. My older brother is a part of the junior janitorial staff. He could probably get us in after dark" the guy contributes with a wry smile.

"Great! then it's a plan!" the guy with the oboe declares. With the plans set music club passes by quickly after that, time seemingly fast forwarding to the upcoming escapade in the evening.
Traversing the school at night is an adventure in and of itself. Darkened hallways and narrowly avoided brushes with the Student Guard's night patrol fill the initial hour and a half of the adventure. As the group draws closer to room B-5 however, the going becomes much much easier.
The group is just about to round the corner to their destination when the first year girl stops the rest of you and whispers "Hey, do you hear that?".

At first Setsu hears nothing, then slowly it comes to her. The distant sound of metal hitting metal. Lots of it. Maybe a small battle outside.
After scrunching his brow in concentration for a few moments the first year guy admits "I don't hear anything. You two hear that phantom guy?"

"Huh, what do you mean?" the guy asks.
Before Setsu can answer all three of you hear very clearly the sound of fiddle music coming from around the corner. It's still distant but loud enough to temporarily override the sounds from outside.
"I hear that though" the guy adds.
"I heard both. Which one do you think we should investigate?" the first year girl asks.

"Yeah, that is what we came here for. We should probably follow through" the first year guy agrees.
The group continues around the corner only to be met by quite a sight! Down at the end of the hallway stands a figure clad in loose fitting black pants and shirt with simple cloth wrappings at the ends of his arms and legs. A dark brown cape hangs from the figures shoulders and a fiddle is in his hands, the instrument itself at work putting out a low but steady melody.
From behind a classic example of the smiling drama mask the raven haired figure stares intensely at the three of you.

"Um, hi?" Setsu says to the figure. Although in retrospect, it isn't probably the first thing most people would do or say.

The figure does not reply but instead begins taking long slinking steps towards the group. Fiddle seeming to play louder and louder without any actual increase in intensity visible in the players hands. Suddenly the stream of classical notes seem to surround the three of you and seem to tighten with each step the player takes.
"Wha-wha-what's with this guy? So creepy lookin' I just wanna.." the first year boy says clenching his fists.
"Do you think he wants something?" the first year girl asks.

"Not a bad assumption to make," Setsu replies. Creepy is one way of discribing this guy, but on the other hand Setsu can't help but thinking he's kind of cool at the same time.

As the three stare almost as if transfixed upon this mysterious figure the group begins to hear another set of musical notes! These on a bit softer of a scale, a sort of yin to this fiddle musics yang as it were. Finding themselves barely able to move now the group still manages to look behind themselves to see the second portion of their company.
This figure is also male, dressed in a classical black and white tuxedo. A wilted purple carnation over his heart and the same type of drama mask on his face, though this one frowning with sadness. He is the one who possesses the fiddle from which the more calm melody spills.
"Whoa! there are two of them!" the first year girl comments.
"The rumors never said anything about this.." the first year guy chips in.
His appearance halts the happy fiddler in his tracks, music from said fiddler increasing in volume as well as his efforts visibly doubling. The sorrowful fiddler slowly but surely moves to match the others intensity, but with less eagerness and equal skill.

Those words seem to be long gone almost as soon as they leave the boys lips. For what seems like an eternity the three of you stand between the two fiddle players. Ever so often the sorrowful one will increase the volume and tempo of his playing only to be vigorously matched by the happy looking one. Every time this happens the two seem to build off of each other taking the contest to a new height.
Just when the two seem to be deadlocked for all eternity there is a sudden decrease in the sorrowful fiddlers playing. The figure suddenly bending backwards as if being drug by the neck. Upon closer inspection Setsu notices that this is no choice of the players as she spots a thick rope around the front of the figures neck!
From behind the frowning fiddler stands a figure clad completely in black holding a length of rope with which it is choking the musician with. The musician forgoing resistance so as to keep his concentration on his instrument and managing to keep up..for now.

Setsu tries to stop the figure chocking the frowning fiddler by trying to yank the rope out of their hands, and towards the frowning fiddler.

The enemy dodges Setsu's attempt to liberate the frowning fiddler with a quick dash to the side. While the enemy does this they also move one end of the rope to their left hand so as to have both ends in the same hand. This is probably to continue choking the musician as the enemy produces three shuriken from their now empty right hand.
Setsu immediately faces a dangerous counter attack as the enemy ninja throws the shuriken at her and her companions!
As this goes on so does the music, the happier of the two fiddlers momentarily taking the lead. Though the sorrowful fiddler continues to play disregarding the attempt on his life almost entirely.

Setsu barely manages to avoid the shuriken that targets her, the metal projectile whizzing by her left cheek. Her companions fare about as well, the first year boy ducking under his and the first year girl nimbly dashing to the left of the way of hers.
"Try some of this!" the first year boy declares taking a swing at the ninja. The ninja seeming to slide around his attempted punch like liquid blackness while still holding the rope secure.
"Maybe we should attack together?" the girl asks seeing the first attempt on the ninja not work out.
