OOG: sorry I haven't posted in a while we have been kinda busy lately.
I guess seeing as how Black and his friend are sparing and Fred can argue and meditate at the same time I will take this chance to rest and relax by taking off my body armor for a minute.

OOG: So while they duel, may the rest of us proceed with healing and resting?

Marshall and Black continue there duel others rest for a time. Ray and Joe disappear for a while but come back after an hour or so. Mario begins teaching Joe and Ray paired weapon fighting (along with anyone else who wants it, such as marshall quinn or brian all might want paired weapons but anyone is eligible)
Eventually a dinner is prepared. Eggs and Turtle Meat, the turtle meat was brought back by Ray and Joe. Mario grabs Quinn and himself a plate and begins eating, not sure if he should say anything or speak.

Fred prefers not to eat meat as a Swamp Thing, but he is not enough of a plant yet to draw the nutrients he needs from water, sunlight, and the ground. He eats only enough to stave off hunger than returns to his meditation.

The majority of his spirited interaction with Marshal apparently begin off screen Black will enter again when said dinner occurs.
"Turtle...I dunno. Food is always nice, but I feel kinda bad eating what is normally such a passive and generally cool creature" Black will say while taking some turtle meat.
(I'd imagine Black would have gotten a chance to rest or whatever at one point in the day.)

After eating, Fred calmly brings up the next obvious topic of discussion. "So now where to? I don't know how wise it to stay at any area, no matter how safe. We could attempt to find the fraternity that..." He stumbles quickly through the next name. They will give him a proper burial when the time comes. "...Joshua spoke of. Or we could attempt to go on the offensive against the people attacking us. Or we could attempt to go deal with the Enclave."

I will try to learn from Mario and i might practice with my sword a little since it won't be all that familiar of a weapon to me at the moment.
I will accept the plate from Mario.
"Thanks, I've never eatin turtle before"

"I'd say trying to find the faternity sounds like a better plan. They might be able to give us more than an educated guest about whoever came after Joshua and us" Black will chip in, chewing tentatively on his portion of turtle.

After their fight, Marshall rests up and drinks some water from the stream. After kicking back awhile and meditating, he goes over to his motorcycle and opens a bag attached to the back. He pulls out something small in a vacuum sealed package with bright colors on the front. Opening it up, he pulls out the brown tube and removes a piece of plastic from it, putting itback in the package in the bag. Opening up the brown roll, he grabs something else out of the bag, a jar, and pops the top a little. Dumping something out of it, he closes the jar and puts it away. Walking over to where the food is a few moments later, Marshall looks down with a blunt hanging out of his mouth and a torch lighter in his hand. "Poor creature. One of the gentlest, most laid back animals. Well, a guy's gotta eat." Clicking the lighter, a bright blue jet of fire bursts out, lighting the end of the blunt. "Mmmm, black russian." Exhaling through his nose, a jet of smoke, almost like a steam valve that broke, blows out into a thick billow of skunky smoke, laced with a twinge of black coffee. Drawing a decent size pocket/survival knife from his pocket, Marshall skewers himself some turtle, and scoops himself some eggs into 2 seperate silicon-rubber bowls from the pack on his side. "Squishy bowl set, thank you ThinkGeek". Taking another long draw on the tightly rolled blunt flavored of coffee, he pulls it away from his lips and stuffs a whole hardboiled egg in, walking back to the area he was sitting earlier to enjoy his dinner and the fruits of his rolling.

"The problem, Black, is that while finding the fraternity is an excellent idea, it is also the most difficult of the options. Our only link has been eliminated." He adds, "Is observations on the nature of testudines all you have to bring to the table, Marshall?"

Quinn sighs mentally while thinking
these people always have to argue, don't any of these people care about what happened to there family or other friends. I understand safety in numbers and so far we have been incredibly lucky to be able to meet up like this but I don't think it will continue
I will now audibly sigh and continue eating my food

Brian will also join in the meal
"We're going to try and find the enclave, and that's that... we wont get any clues staying here either, so once we're ready, we're gonna head off in a direction, doesn't matter which one, and search for clues. Understood?" Brian will look at the party, with a smile on his face, "anyone have a better idea?"

Fred says, "I approve of finding the Enclave. We're still relatively near Joshua - perhaps we could create a cypher and set up occasional broadcasts to tell the fraternity that Joshua has been killed. But before we leave, we need to set up a way to catch the bastards who shot at us first."

"I believe the priority is the enclave, we know next to nothing about who shot us, and it would be much safer to look for clues after the Enclave has been rid of"

Black frowns, obviously annoyed.
"Well if we were going to choose to investigate the Enclave first then why mention the fraternity?" he asks.
There's little that bothers me more than giving choices and then telling me I can't choose them. If you want to go to the enclave so much just fuckin' say so from the start.
"And in regards to Joe's comment, I thought we weren't going to go into what might be just a scared community of survivors with guns blazing. Or have we all decided the Enclave is evil too?"

"The problem, Joe, is that at the moment we have sanctuary. On the road, we do not. We may not survive another ambush. We should not leave until we have preparations for the devil we know. And, Black, I proposed the alternatives so we could discuss them. Brian is hasty with our lives. This matter requires careful consideration, hruuuumph." The last "Hroooomph" sound is somewhat like an Ent's mutter. "And no one said that we were going to ATTACK the Enclave. The first issue is reconnaissance: We'll see what they are up to. But, again, only after we have some kind of viable plan to deal with our ambushers."

"I don't have much to add," taking another puff on the blunt, "but if they didn't show themselves the first time, they haven't much reason to the next time, so we'd better be ready to fight or run. Considering they attacked and then let you go I can only assume they are in fact watching us this very moment, waiting for an opportune time to strike. "

"you know, the people stalking us should be the first priority. The sniper, for example, we could present a fake target and then since you Joe can flash step, once he revels himself you go to his location and attack. However, it isn't certain he would take a fake target but he might take a real one if he couldn't resist"

OOG: Joe can't flash step can he?
"Well, since Joe talked about "ridding" ourselves of the Enclave I was afraid we'd all decided it had gone from "pending" to "definitely evil" on some evidence I hadn't seen yet"
Black leans back slightly, taking a more relaxed posture.
"That bait and switch idea sounds pretty good though. I'm pretty sure that either Joe or I could take a couple of those shots...of course like Marshal mentioned they COULD be watching us at this moment, or have enough information on us that they'd be privy to the trick and not fall for it.
I still think it'd be best to just continue on our way and deal with them as they come. It being the easiest way to root them out"

Fred says, "I doubt that, Marshall. They may indeed have circled around this sanctuary, but why not continue the attack in transit? It might be that they are simply playing with us, but it seems far more likely that they simply do not have unlimited capacities to follow us. They laid an ambush at a location they knew we'd be: Returning to Joshua. If they could find us and trace us anywhere, they would not have attacked at that particular time. Attacking right after the Driders would actually have been more strategic, given how injured we were."
Replying to Quinn, Fred nods. "I agree, Quinn, but the problem is that we don't have a way to track them. If someone DOES have a way of tracking them, or an idea, then my vote is to immediately hunt them down and lay an ambush of our own. If not, then we must do something besides wait in the interim. Further, experience with them has proven that mobility is a good advantage. Unless someone has an idea to find the ambushers before they find us and do so proactively, I recommend we simply plan and build some devices. As far as a decoy... They probably have scopes, so the decoy would have to stand up to close observation. I could create a sort of plant dummy of every one of us, with simple remote controlled movement. But Joe would need to be in a safe, hidden place that nonetheless allows him to quickly flash step at a moment's notice. Perhaps the cab, or right in the hatch?"
Fred then considers abilities of his own. "When they attack again, I can use the Ojigi or the Death Tree. Both are superhumanly adept at finding their prey. And the Ojigi's blasts and the Death Tree's acid will be incredibly effective against their armor. In my cat form, I can track humanoids and prowl stealthily."
Fred smiles at Black's comment. "Joe is likely to phrase things in the most aggressive manner possible. I still think it should be reconnaissance at first."

"No I cannot flashstep, things not directly related to darks gods are for pussies" Joseph Says jokingly, "I think not my place to be safe and hidden, but close enough to taste an enemies gore. Much as I grow impatient, I agree we know little of either hostile faction and we require intel on both"

OOG: Mario has indicated that this is indeed the time for such solo activities. His Internet is being the antithesis of Leeroy Jenkins, so he'll be unable to post for a bit, probably until Tuesday.
Fred nods. "In essence, yes. But not just rest and recreation. When I am in tip-top shape, I intend to prepare some things."
