Xexilia has been trained and something almost a part of her body has been built to hunt Angels. Now she believes more are out there.

NG-Evangelion Angel. You, Xexilia, and Hack all pilot Evas.

You're not nearly as good, though. Their Evas can be much larger.
Luckily, the team has found a set of Angels in a data chip.

sweet, and i've seen much larger, although i think if possible i'll have shi evolve for size, imagine a full size chinese dragon in comparison to a human, and now shi to a regular eva at the same size ratio, then the fun will begin
btw i know bigger isn't always better but when it comes to her cannon, yes it is

Yeah, it's just that your Eva Pilot training, CPs, etc. are much less central parts of your character. Sheer Eva-v-Eva skill, Hack will lose against Xexilia, Ash F or Ash M.
So: Will Hack analyze the Angel list? Seek out independent data? Pick randomly? Etc.

analyze and then go for a less powerful one, he wants to train shi not stop an apocloypse

The description is poetic and does not indicate power, though there does appear to be some sort of implied hierarchy (of what is the question). Archaic-styled star maps are given, fitting the mapping that the Angels themselves would do of the world. It is certainly possible that a rare apologetic Angel wrote this: Finding her would be a success beyond belief [note: this could be a character concept].
"This is the tale of the Angels numbered hundred and beyond. After the hundredth, I shall number them without regard for the ninety nine fallen before him.
The hundredth Angel is the guardian of minds and souls. It hides in the shadows of the good and innocent.
The first of the hundred is brimstone and rains of ash, slipping through the firmaments laid down by God as if a house open to the tempest.
Second is man without spirit, the sheer will of God substituting for a free soul.
The third is a tapestry of destruction, each individual tendril and fiber of its visage and form being its entirety.
Fourth in rank is a shape that stretches out before the eye impossibly and defies the geometry God himself set down, celestial in perfection yet devilish in fact.
Fifth is a juggernaught of rolling tines and a dreadnaught of God's bright wrath from the sky. All swords in its path turn to plowshares, and all ashes become ashes once more.
The sixth is the means by which He keeps Hell unstable and Pandemonium's castles in fear of His fiat.
The seventh is a serpent in the shape of a man and a man in the shape of a serpent.
The eighth is sheafs of silver and leafs of paper, a tree and pyramid of the vicious words of God.
Ninth form is fluttering wings dancing to hide.
The last of which I may write, the representative of the ideal ten, is a fair maiden when deceiving and a decimating terror when honest, the inversion of the soul's relationship to the beauty of the body."

i'll take the hundredth

The hundredth is not identified very clearly as far as location. Instead, a very long trajectory is listed, as if it travelled like a gypsy clan...

then we follow the trajectory

Hack first is in the Teiran system. Nothing is in the exact area noted, but there is a large order of magnitude, and a very blue planet is below (much bluer than Earth)...

hmm, interesting, bluer as in more intense or more covered in blue

More intense, it has roughly the same ocean mass. Explore, pass up?

few scans, see anything funny, if so explore, if not pass

There does seem to be a massive energy form in the ocean, seeming at least initially technological...

eh...? fish people?

Possibly. Obviously a very likely possibility given the universe.

(FN: Dan/ImpOfRE - 234). Hack detects nothing much more, but the planet is obviously populated, with modern technology and at least one spaceport.

what are the people like, there should be some kind of record, hopefully

The planet is called Xkrrrrrish in translation to English. The people are massive scaled creatures that have a frog-like neck and a fish-like body. They have a reputation for being warlike; they stole fire and other technologies at first from another sentient species on the planet that completely left and settled another planet.

okay then next planet

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jun 5, 2006 19:36:42 GMT -5
The planet of the settled individuals or the next planet on the track? And will you inform the team of this so it can be independently explored?

|
|
Post by Vincent Hack on Jun 6, 2006 18:28:26 GMT -5
next planet on the list, and yes I wil inform the team

The next planet is a farming planet named Monros, a golden-skied planet.

this looks more like the angels type of planet, same sort of scans as before

Hack does not believe any of the people of the planet have anything hidden among them, but there is a strange settlement somewhere near the capital city (RE: 183. SC: 300.)
