Standing on a white marble platform, with a void of endless darkness surrounding the outer edges of the field of combat, Kemailé in her black jumpsuit stood in a basic Karate front stance, facing her opponent. Her bald head glimmers from an unknown source of light.
She waits for her new opponent of the minute.

An imp with a simple dagger is her first opponent. He charges blindly, crossing fifty percent of the distance between them, short legs moving.

Kell attempts to grab at the knife hand with her left hand, pull the little guy forward, and crack her knee up into his chin, trying to break his neck. If it worked, she would take the knife for the next fight.

Kell unfortunately misgauges her targeting and cuts her hand on the knife. She continues anyways and gets a hold finally, but she doesn't hit the neck, only the shoulderblade. Luckily, the Imp's shoulder is broken, and it drops its knife. Kell can attack again, as the imp screeches in pain.

She attempts to grab the knife and stab it into the imp's upper torso.

She grabs the knife and viciously thrusts into the pitiful flesh and bones of her diminuitive foe. A crimson spray of blood arcs outwards and covers her face and the platform behind her. The creature's heart is nearly bisected, and its head slumps.
A massive bat, probably about three feet tall with an eight foot wingspan, is flying at Kell now.

Kell points her right hand at the bat's head, unleashing Fire Ignition. If anything should happen to be coming at her and burning...she lifts the imp's body up to protect her body.

A burst of flame ignites the bat above, causing it to fly down into the abyss around the circular arena.
A Coalition trooper appears and cocks his laser rifle. The long black form fires a red beam of focused light at the imp hanging limply in the arms of Kell, the skull-faced visor staring back at Kell impassively. The imp is incinerated. Kell's turn.

Kell runs at the CT and raises a fire shield to protect her front from any laser blasts, and tries to grab ahold of him to completely throw him, hopefully over the edge of the platform.

The trooper stares in awe and fear as this thing closes the distance of the platform within seconds. He attempts to press the trigger, but doesn't do so until his arm is grabbed. Unfortunately, the blast shoots a hole through Kell's shoulder; luckily, she still finishes the throw from the arm, tossing the man to his death screaming down an infinite chasm.
Suddenly, a small rat-like creature appears. It screams, "NIDO!" and launches small quills at Kell.

Holding her shoulder, she tries to summon up a fire sword with her free left hand and tries to generate enough heat to strike at the quills and disintergrate them. She tries to strike where ever they may strike.

Unfortunately, she does not move fast enough, though she does end up generating the fire sword. The needles hit her in the forehead, and she feels the painful rush of poison through her (though it does not puncture the skull), even as she charges forward to strike the small rodent. What shall she do now?

Kell will run at the rodent and try to cut its head off with the sword. If it works, she'll take a vaccine vial from her hip pouch, provided by the company for such training.

The rodent tries to leap away, but amazingly Kell gets the shot in mid-air. The flame blade burns the whole thing and cleaves head from body, a straight edge of heat making a burning red mark. As she draws the vaccine, her hand is struck by something that makes a loud bang and the vaccine is broken. Her whole arm nearly breaks from the shot.

She screams in pain and looks around, trying to focus her attention away from the pain and to her new opponent. Her regeneration abilities started kicking in immediately and she picks up the imp's knife. It catches flame, and she casts another spell, lighting up the rim of the marble platform with flames in hopes of illuminating the darkness to get a look at her opponent.

There isn't much darkness, she can see the opponent immediately. It is a strange alien with a flat face, nose holes instead of human-like nostrils, and full leather jacket and chain attire. She appears to be a gunslinger, holding two massive flechette pistols.

She extinguishes the flames on the platform, not wanting to waste anymore energy. She tries to summon up a PK fire whip from the knife hilt, not really using the blade for anything. She tried to slash at the woman's hands to disarm her.

OOG: I'm assuming you never made the flames because you saw the thing clearly. Still going to do the fire whip?

OOC: Sure, no flames. And yes, I will continue with the whip.

OOG: Did you really invest enough into Pyrokinesis into being able to create complex flame weapons? How many points into Burster, again?

|
|

OOC: 2, but you said I could do any pyrokinetic technique, but CP just counted for how powerful it would be. : /

OOG: No. I said that opened up ACCESS to that. Just like you couldn't do PK Super Bomb 3 but it'd just be super weak. More points into Burster gives you more flexibility, skills, Merits, abilities, sub-abilities, ability to do Cooperation/Combination Techs, etc.

She bursts into flames, the leather further igniting, though seeming to nonetheless remain admirably intact. Kell has more turn and her target has lost a turn due to pain, giving her a total of two.

Kell tries to run up to the woman and jam the now flaming knife into the alien's forehead.

OOG: Wait, how is the imp knife flaming? Have you ignited it? And if so, that requires continual psychic output because the blade is metal (though there is an ability you can get later, PK Ember Poker, that makes weapons super-hot, as well as similar things for bullet and energy wapons).

OOC: Alright, forget that : P I'll just jam the knife into the alien's neck.

The alien is clearly very reflexive and leaps away. She cocks her pistols and fires for Kell's leg. Kell can attempt a parry.

Is the parry the ignition? Or something else?
