The man laughs and points to the building everyone crowded around. "Ye see, m'boy, Surge is a'fn sour at them trainers, and rightfully so, says me. Bein' the trickster he'n is, he'd grown vines te keep em' out. Damn near the only one that's got the know-how to cut em is Cap'n Donald- the finest cap'n on theh bright blue if'n you ever could see. That's why them rich fellers are a'gatherin' 'round the dock, teh see if'n they c'n git on." He laughed with an old coot like laughter. "I'd say though, if'n yehs wanna git on that ther boat, yeh hafta be a trainr te even SURVIVE. If'n I member correctly, that thar pokemaniac r' sumthin had one o dem tickets. He resides in the house next teh thuh centr."

OOG:for the sake of argument... couldn't i just be able to maybe wait for someone to leave/enter the vine area and find out how its done that way? or better yet, fly over them if its possible? or something like that... though i'm not going to try it seeing as i know what its like when people deviate from the storyline
not knowing when exactly the boat leaves, and always suspecting the worst, Tamekuri dashes off towards the pokemaniac's house, but on the way, his curiosity gets the better of him, and he decides to get Chulu checked up at the pokemon center, to see why he's able to use disable so early, and afterwards go to the pokemaniac's house and politly tell him something like -i heard you had tickets for the boat, and i want one, and i'm not leaving without one-... but more politely

OOG-actually, that's an option, however the benefits of going on the ship are far outweighing what you would see as an easy way out. Trainer battles, the communal S.S. Ticket and the communal ability to learn Cut being a few. Also...theres a mysterious subquest on the S.S. Zephyr after all eight badges are assembled....
Dunce goes to the pokemon center and nurse Joy laughs, her beauty realized as the melodic sound escapes her pink lipsticked lips. "Tamekuri, there is nothing wrong with this Abra. It's a little overleveled, maybe from the fight with Sabrina, but other than that, this Abra seems to be a very dedicated partner. You must be a fantastic trainer...." She said suggestively, holding up the abra in her arms. She gave it some food, had it cleaned and rested and gave ti back to Tamekuri. As he left, with a wink to the trainer, she added. "We hope to see you again!"
Tamekuri entered the old mans house and requested the tickets. After a LONG conversation about the mans obsession with Rapidash, he awkwardly gave him the tickets. The room was filled with pokemon fans. Not trainers, just fans of pokemon in general. There were posters, wild pokemon and people all around just talking about pokemon. No time for observations.
Tamekuri ran to the dock, which had in the time procured a massive ship. It was white as pearl, sleek edges with an old style architechture giving it a majestic feel. Across her side, the words S.S Zephyr in large keen print sprawled. Sailors with attitudes and just salty sea sorts were already aboard, tossing crates to one another and doing all sorts of tasks only a shipmaster would admire. A boarding plank, handrails and all extended from her side, and young and old, rich and poor crowded onto that boat like sardines to the tin.

depending on the time of day, i'll either go to my cabin to sleep for the night, or i'll go and get a bite to eat and then see if any events are taking place

Tamekuri walks onto the boat, the salty sea air filling his lungs. There is something calming about the lilt of the deck, the brightness of the risen sun and the voices of the sailors calling amongst one another. Machoke and Hariyama carried heavy boxes while another faceless Abra lifted them in the shade. Trainers were already battling, getting their battle tension out of the way before the relaxing cruise. Tamekuri could see three destinations. The trainer battles, the Abra and the interior of the massive cruise ship .

i'll walk up to the abra, and ask "where's your master?" if it has none, i'll attempt to catch it after a battle with it, if it does have a master, give him/her a compliment on the great catch and try to get into a battle with the other trainers

OOG: The abra....works....on the ship...of course it has a master.
IG: Dunce walks up to the seamen and gentlemen battling, watching nidorinos attack donphan and pikachu with flaafy.
One man walks up to Tamekuri with a thin grin fitting his figure perfectly. He tipped his glasses so his red eyes peered over the equally thin frame.
"A trainer, eh? This should be over quick..." He said, flipping his red hair.
OOG: imagine some really thin, tall spike(the character) like dude, with these wicked shades and kind of cool demeanor.

"wha? me?" Tamekuri says looking behind him to see if he was talking to someone else, then returning his attention to the man and getting right in his face saying under his breath, "'cause if its me your after, your right, this SHOULD be over quick" ( regardless of how quick the battle will be over, for better or for worse, i stand with my previous battling tactics, of letting my genius pokemon fight for himself )
OOG: Gah! i feel dumb, but then again i am dumb, so, this isn't an unexpected turn of events

Allright. Chulu vibrates the air around it in anticipation. The red haired man scoffed and let loose his pokeball. Out of the ball emerged a Jolteon. The dog bristled with sharp points of electrified fur. It growled at the Abra and waited for it's command. "Agility, Volt. Let it attack first." The red haired man said confidently. "Give it some kind of chance."

have Chulu send to the Jolteon's mind the trainers voice saying, "No, wait, you're useless and i never liked you, its time for you to die." if the Jolteon turns to look at its master, have Chulu use hypnotize to make it think that the trainer actually IS saying the words, and then, impose emotions of despair and things like that on it to take its will to fight away, from there, just TK lift it and bash it around and follow up with a disable if its in the least bit necasary

OOG: First of all, that's mean and cruel. You will definately be getting negative karma points for this...
IG:Chulu concentrates and soon the voice of the trainer silently yells in the Jolteon's head. Jolteon starts and looks back at it's companion with a suprised whine. He sees his trainer talking, lips closed and falls to the ground, pangs of depression paining him much more than the telekinetic lift and toss agains the wall. The disable worked, but wasn't even necessary since Jolteon didn't have a will to stand in the first place. When the thin trainer rushed to Jolteons side with calls of it's nickname, Jolteon remained limp. He looked up at Tamekuri with rage in his eyes. "What did you do to Volt?"
All of a sudden, the trainer went slack. He lifted his pokeball and recalled Jolteon, but the pokemon didn't return to the ball it had been caught in as an Eevee. It just lay there. The trainer's fears were realized. "Volt...is....is this the way you want it?" He asked, tears reaching the surface, braking his cool exterior. "After all we've been through, our journey together is over?" Another pause. "Very well..." He said again, and looked up to Tamekuri. "We...we were gonna be...we were gonna be the league champs..." he made out before turning on his heels and running off.
OOG: You could catch the jolteon now, if you didnt mind a few more bad karma points. You could also redeem yourself if you found a way to that didnt involve tampering with jolteons mind.

Tamekuri will tell Chulu to explain to the Jolteon what had just transpired, and then suggest returning to the trainer, and end it up by saying some encouraging things with, "Because a trainer and his loved pokemon should never be divided in such a way, and after the cruise, if your still raw about it, get strong and take your revenge, i will accept it." Then lift the disable and the despair and replace it with joy.
Tamekuri will ask Chulu, "Do you think that was a good thing to do? I mean, we didn't cause any permenant damage did we?"
Tamekuri will then pick up Chulu, place him on his shoulders, then walk to his room, after all, this is a cruise ship, lounging might be a pretty good idea.

OOG: LOL!
IG: Jolteon stumbles away, the most confused look upon its face. Chulu and Tamekuri walk inside the bunks. The ship is now moving at high speed, with the occasional rock as the water turned. As Tamekuri lounged with his eyes closed, a figure stepped in through the crack in his door of his room...
