Fair enough, and that's benefitted a lot by Krane's auras and powers, but then you'll need to rely on someone else to get you in.

Krane's mandibles open in that way that indicates a smile. Unforutnately, keeping the two out of the way of the frequent dragon attacks and in the proper lane of the "winds" takes all of her time. However, her leg seems to spontaneously do a double kick to the jaws of the dragon Hack is currently focusing on, trying to pry its jaws open. The dragon begins conjuring flame to fire at Krane, but it does not fire yet.
She calls out, "Gran Zue!" Popping from her back comes a creature who seems like an innocent and small child. But then one notices that his skin resembles less the skin of a child than a perforated exoskeleton, and that underneath the exoskeleton are deadly quills. He has no eyelids, instead a perforated double-layered visor that is either up, partially down or down. His eyes are white splotches with a free-floating red misshapen mass that seems to function as the pupil/irises. In response to the chant from Krane, its arm transforms into a cannon-like thing with spinning blades. The creature smiles and says, "Breathe this." The dragon fires a black ray at the incoming energy attack. The two collide ... and the Zue breaks through the incoming beam and rams down the dragon's gullet, admittedly deprived of a large portion of its power (more than half).
A number of shield generators spontaneously form from a strange field of energy around Krane. A tangible energy shield that seems to feed off of Krane's excruciating pain forms around them. And power begins to form around them.
The second dragon screams and forms a number of shadowy forms of itself. These attempt to consume Hack, Shi, Gran and Krane. All of those have fangs around them. It then casts Slow-All. The first dragon uses this opportunity to cast Extinction Level Event Virus (Bio III) then launch a powerful petrifying gaze. Hack can respond to the gaze owing to his Hordeslayer powers.

In a... colossal (LOL ME CLVER1) victory, Archeus managed to single-handedly destroy a Colossus, after a pitched battle in ruins in ancient Greece, involving a refractive array and torches and a final blast from the Armageddon's Gaze. Banos Apsu Ouranos, a rather queer bird, has been released, the first of the Colossi Heroes.

Meanwhile, Pander, Furax, Mosho and Nobi began to search for Imbowé. They met the Tree People and took their medicine man, G'hino'ba, and their rain dancer, priest and volunteer militiamen. While travelling through the Congo to the Viper Pit where the Witch Vallazae stays, the nine of the current travelling party encountered a Mokole-mbebe, dispatching it, then immediately fell into battle with ten demonic cannibals.
Last thing that occurred in that battle: Trees were being tossed at the group. The turn order is:
Nobi Ghino Furax Mosho (Cannibals) Ghino Raindancer Nobi Ghino Priest (Cannibals) Pander (Cannibals) Soldiers
After the trees are dealt with, soldiers go, then Nobi.

(Four posts on the same topic! I guess we handle Colossi primarily on MSN or AIM).
Bandages and Crawdaddy had begun to search for Bandages' creator. Using Bandages' direction sense and Krane's Mandala, they had discovered that it was a lava-ridden planet in the midst of the Star Wars Galaxies but in the present time. They were just planning transportation and were bringing along Krane.
Meanwhile, Quion, Sarashito, Rakasia, Shade and Xexilia had begun to search out the rumored Sith Lord sealed away on the lost planet Ziost. They had just gotten there, finding the planet hidden in hyperspace, and were attempting to break through the protective shield around the planet.

(Five posts. Now this is getting ludicrous). While in interstellar space, Crawdaddy, Bandages, Krane, Spira and Jin encountered a merchant ship run by some quirky and possibly dishonest aliens. Jin decided to cut out the middleman and... acquire the items somehow. (Not by force, either!) The ship carried: *A R2 droid with mysterious and as-yet-unaccessed properties *A deactivated combat droid *A number of illegal slave droids *Data chips filled with unknown (and hot) data *Ancient Geonosian weapons, yet to be analyzed *Two mysterious sealed containers *Old Imperial weapons, armor and equipment *An assortion of Rebel, independent and old Republic-era/Mandalorian weaponry *A designer liquor rumored to boost one's Force power (quite overhyped, though it may be analyzed by the team's best chemists and improved) Then, the group encountered a mysterious ship. cotgrpg.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=cotgpubliccampaign&action=display&thread=1145044268&page=1 for more. They had yet to sally forth to continue to find the Aeon of Flame.

okay hack is back, lets go for full on hordeslayer, wish i had a powered up wail of the banshee on me but oh well
hack charges one of the dragons (it dosent matter which trust me) then constantly moving assaults all foes, each one unable (if i have my way) to retalliate because another is serving as cover
translation, spring attack on a tier 6 mighty joint

I get that, but remember, your turn was a response to a gaze attack and not an assault. You may possibly have the time to do that, but even if it goess of in time it may not stop the effect of the assault.

Hack prodigiously uses his skills, but the dragon's power, experience and Hack's low Affinities catch up with him. The gaze attack is misdirected partially but still strikes him and does not harm the other dragon. Hack feels slow and partially petrified, and he is having difficulty not slowing Krane down.

The near-infinite fragments of rock, shaped as snakes below Xexilia, Rakasia, Quion and Sarashito spread out. Dust fills the air. A preponderance of red and black fills the air. The smell of death is palpable, and it is all Quion can do to avoid destroying things. Sarashito smiles, and a black armor forms around her, with a white sphere of light accompanying her. Xexilia can sense something very different about her, and it is this evil that in unleashing it. Rakasia and Xexilia are feeling their failures, their hatreds, all of their darknesses at once. Sarashito whispers, "We better kill something ASAP or I'm gonna blow up this rock." The armor's optics seem to focus at least partially on Quion.
A shape emerges...

This is a stat effect, not a stat drain.
Shadowy copies of the dragon suddenly swarm around Hack before his plan goes off. Four fireballs from four distinct directions streak away at you.

Xexilia took barely a single step back, more than astonished by the scent of death and sudden rise of a dark-colored atmosphere. "I agree..." She wondered if her suit might react with the sudden hatred and failures she felt.
The emerging figure became more than a silhouette--though, for the most part, the clothing remained black. Sterling silver eyes gazed rather curiously towards the four standing in front of her. Fingers twitching slightly in anxiety, perhaps even a desperate hunger, her irises shifted to a crimson red, two hilts dangling at her belt lifting slightly as if an afterthought of summoning them. "...Who might you be, and why choose to awaken a demon such as myself?"
Rather taken aback, Xexilia didn't answer at first, replacing her reply with a question. "Wouldn't you rather be free from that prison?"
"...Well..." The demon's head tilted to the side, both ears twitching slightly, earrings ringing as they collided softly. "I slept rather well, it was better than asylums."
A small laugh escaped Xexilia's throat, but she couldnt' discern whether or not it was of disbelief or nervousness.

Quion says, "We, or at least I, freed you because it was the right thing to do."
Sarashito says, "Aw, what with the self-righteous crap. It was fun. So: Ya think you can take us?"
The landscape is dark and it seems that Sarashito has become so as well. The ruins of the Sith, ornate with ghastly spires, fall about around them. Indeed, the storms seem to be picking up... Ten black bolts of force and hate fall from the sky, carrying with them ten heralds in black, red lightsabers glowing. "Zenexoria: You were better off sealed in that giant.", they say in unison.

Zenexoria slowly raised her shoulders, as if the heralds were mere acquaintances. "If you mean better off because others might hurt me, I concur. However my muscles started wearing down in there, I'd like to keep what I worked hard on in shape."
Xexilia glanced at Sarashito curiously, then became more aware of the ruins around them, turning quickly as she heard the freed prisoner laugh a little, as if to herself.
"Make up your mind, worlds, would you want me trapped in darkness and my own suffering or lost in light and wandering?" The crimson in her eyes snapping to more of a dark blood color, Zenexoria stared at the ten enshrouded heralds, not even reached for her own sabers. "Go back to your deaths. This ruin is your tomb, it was merely my cage."

OOG: Very nice dialogue.
Quion steps into a fighting stance, saying, "I can't let you kill these men." He is suddenly kicked in the stomach by a blistering fast Sarashito. He looks up and says, "...Sara...", his breath stolen by vicious force. The voice comes out, thick and raspy through the armor, "That's not my name. I am Gein." The heralds are silent, but their murderous intent does not match their speed, as many of their foes move first.
Xexilia moves first, then Zenexoria. If Rakasia doesn't act in a reasonable time, I'll say he's not here.

OOG: Thank you! ^^
Xexilia was rather shocked by Sarashito's sudden attack, pulling out her blade-interchangeable hilt for defense and a possible if-necessary attack. "Sarashito?" Had the armor reacted to the strange atmosphere, or the demon's dark side?
"I'll kill these men whether you allow it or not. I don't follow anyone's orders but my Master's." A slight grin crossed Zenexoria's cool gray face, the cold air of both her aura and flesh radiating in slight throbs of the Force. Her eyes were directed towards the heralds, fingers now tapping calmly but quickly against her lightsabers. "Heralds, guardians of the ruins that kept me prisoner, you know I have grown anxious in that half-conscious state. You should be aware of what negativity it brings to me; what power I gain in the process of simply sitting and staring at nothing." Summoning the two hilts easily into her hands, all four lightsaber blades activated simultaneously, and she jumps rapidly to one herald at random choice. "You will not seal me again."

No attack from Xexilia? Defense? Etc.?
The first herald barely manages to block with a Makashi fencing-style move, an active defense. He is pushed back but not killed just yet. She has more turn.

"...Who is Gein, exactly?" Xexilia stood in a more defensive stance, rather than attack--her eyes sometimes distracted by the demon's movements with some amazement at the power she could sense.
Zenexoria grinned before quickly thrusting both lightsabers forward towards the herald. She knelt down with her arms above her head and twisted her wrists, flicking her weapons through her fingers to make them spin rapidly over her.

"Me. I am Gein." Xexilia's Red Ninja Shadow, independent Eva armor, whatever other DIO extenders?
Zenexoria pulls a Grievous, simultaneously defending against incoming attacks and slashing away with a spinning strategy. The herald she is fighting continues to block, but Zenexoria's superior power disarms him and his arm is eliminated. She has more turn.

The fireballs unfortunately collide at the wrong times, pushing Hack off, and all four strike. Luckily Hack is a tank, the flame erupting about him... but they are powerful shots.
