This initial updates post will be large, but hopefully it'll help keep an accurate record of everything that's occured!
The initial team began having a quiet night, when suddenly they heard a massive disturbance on the police scanner but saw no mention of it on the media. Going to investigate, they were interrupted by Black X minions. The men in armor seemed easy enough to defeat at first, but soon they went into their hidden dimension and engaged the group, conjuring a beast, the Genbu Wolf! Luckily, with some pluck and courage, the monster was defeated. One of the Black X members was convinced by the Amazing Stoner Man's... "skills" to quit Black X and join the group.
Moving onward, it appeared that a full-on gang war had gone uninterrupted by police for well over an hour, despite the violence bleeding out into the rich folks' areas. This was quite strange. On the news, it was theorized that some mass information warfare campaign had begun, probably launched by aliens. Police across the US (and ONLY the US - no bleedover was detected in Canada and the US), as well as many military installations, were stymied, but no one was seriously hurt.
Further investigation led the group to a local Nosferatu contact. On the way, the group encountered an ordinary-looking businessman (ranting about rabblerousers and the ghetto), who then showed off superhuman strength and endurance. When he was defeated, he seemed to come to his senses, and while he was still clearly prejudiced and a little angry he was nonetheless an ordinary and decent person. Something was clearly controlling him. The Nosferatu opened more mysteries: Apparently, the hacking is not an alien invasion, but a domestic plot having to do with supersoldier agencies. It appears that, somehow, the hackers wish to expose Uncle Sam's dirty dealings.
Fred and Mario engaged Al Everdred through the Boss Master. After defeating him, Everdred expressed a desire to assist Ness in another adventure. His recruitment allows the team to benefit from Burglin Park!
Juggalo Roscoe, Violent J and Shaggy then showed up on the groups' doorstep. This was never adequately explained, but Roscoe and Fred were glad to see each other, and the mounting evidence of peril convinced the new three to join. Luckily, Blue had given a lead: Speaking to Red, aka Alkaiser. Boarding Red's ship, Fred, Mario, Ness, and the three Juggalos found themselves under attack by a combination of Xenosians, Black X and... DF, Fred's evil clone! Fred had seemed to indicate that DF was dead, yet that proved not to be the case, as DF easily handled not only the above but also Alkaiser, Wonder Woman (who had transformed from Diana Prince to help Mario), Guts, Marrowpick and Fizbin. During the battle, Wonder Woman's lasso was able to latch onto DF, forcing out some answers about what was transpiring. Finally Guts managed to cleave DF apart, and DF left, cackling. Red was convinced that a new threat was dormant, and (with some switching between Alkaiser and Red), Red joined the team! But where's Alkaiser...?
Red's ship finally landed in Twanchena, where the disembarking group split up. Fred, Mario and Fizbin managed to speak to Xenocratis about Thrash and Badcat's disappearance, as well as DF's revelation. Xenocratis took it all in stride, and even hinted that the Rangers may offer some assistance against the Xenosians. Meanwhile, Ness, Guts, Marrowpick, and Red went to find a soothsayer to find a path for Guts to return home. Instead, they found thugs strongarming Clue Guy. After the thugs were quickly dispatched, the group made haste in discovering some things: South Figaro was where to go next to deal with the Black X; the Fated One Finder was in Azeroth; Thrash and Badcat were not dead, but were not quite themselves either; and many other revelations.
Continuing onwards to Thunder Bluff, the group (after a shaky start with the locals due to the sound and disruption caused by the airship) managed to charm their way into the heart of the Taurahe. Mario, while asking for the Fated One Finder, was instead offered a proposition: Become a shaman! Mario considered this proposal and was inadvertently swayed by the drunk fisher and witch doctor, Kadzo Deepfisher, who met up with the remaining team that had spoken with Cairne. Cairne Bloodhoof had indicated that those who were brought here had a special destiny, which resonated with one of DF's statements: That there are a special echelon of Fate's Guardians, destined to protect Fate itself in some special way.
Fred, Ness, Marrowpick, Guts and Fizbin decided to follow the kodo. As they went across Mulgore, they interrupted a Venture Co poisoning effort. While Ness et al protected the well, Fred sought a cure, as well as recruiting Baine Bloodhoof.
Meanwhile, Mario himself followed the kodo, in this case defeating the unnamed but ancient bull who hid in the mountains of Stonetalon. While in Stonetalon, Mario met Milly Thompson, Icona, and Karinka. These three insisted to assist Mario against the ancient beast, and their help was clearly quite useful, as Mario managed to send the thing to its rest. In the process, he found a vision: A draenei male with a body hollow as a rotten oak and vast as the stars, cackling and joining a sea of evil. Icona managed to gleam a phrase: Rising Avatar.
As this occurred, Marrowpick et al found a goblin caravan that had been savaged. It seemed that they had been carrying the Fated One Finder! Their assailants were the Mechanikar, a faction about which the nascent Fate's Guardians knew little.
Mario, Milly, Icona and Karinka met up with their allies, and after introductions and some snark from Karinka, the outlines of the truth became clear: The Mechanikar was a pawn of the Rising Avatar that Mario saw, the means through which the Avatar would ascend to the status of someone such as DF. But the Mechanikar are far too strong to siege directly. So this group engaged with a Druid who had been attempting to wipe the centaur and the quillboar off the face of Azeroth. After defeating him, Cairne promised to send as much as the Horde could spare.
In preparation for the siege upon the Mechanikar, Fred and Mario went to the Ultimate Shop. They battled Carpainter, Frank, Frankystein Mk. II, and Starman Jr. These formidable faces from Ness' past built the Fate's Guardians' numbers. They then recruited mercenaries such as Brilliant Dynamite Neon and... Neji Hyuuga, Kazuki and Black! Fred and Mario reunited with their old friend, and after discussion and revelations, a golden figure presented itself. Though speaking cryptically (too cryptically for Mario, Neji, Kazuki and Black, though Fred seemed to take it in stride), she indicated some direction and offered some hope of victory.
With Black's addition, it was time to take on a demon from Neji's past: Kidomaru of the Sound Four. After a brutal battle, during which Mario's throat was nearly slit, Kidomaru was defeated and then recruited.
Ness, Frank, Frankystein, Carpainter, Cell, the Genbu Wolf, Elixir and the Haitian, meanwhile, ventured to Onett on Frank's hunch and found a lead: People made sick by some manner of heavy metal toxicity.
And that's all! Quests are being posted.

The Onett group excluded the sewers as the source for the poisoning, recruited Booker, etc. and went to the reservoir.
Wallace called a large group together to speak about who will come along for the... Final Battle [delayed intro music and logo play!]
And Mario has left!

(OOG: This quest is from before Mario left, so... sorry, continuity haters *coughcoughblackcoughcough*). Mario, Fred, and the Onett group engaged the five bears and, apparently, a moving tree. After a fairly embarrassing start, this group managed to defeat the bears and put out a small forest fire caused by an errant grenade with the help of a deus ex machina! The question now was, who was this mysterious wo(man) who had decided to help?
Black defeated Captain Strong and therefore gained Captain Strong and five members of the Onett PD as allies!

The Onett group finished their quest, destroying an entity that seemed to be a simple automaton of Zexonyte but proved to be so much more! The battle's significance is large for the team, affecting everyone.
First, Frank's intuition about needing to come to Onett turned out to be correct on a number of levels. When the golem was defeated, the "screen" changed to a large map of many worlds, cutting inwards to Onett, showing Onett as "liberated". Putting Orwellian rhetoric aside, it appears that when a critical mass of good work is done in a region, the Fate's Guardians acquire the benefits of that region! Onett has a number of benefits, all listed in the Party file.
Second, and even more crucially, the spirit Dryad was released from captivity. The exact mechanism is unknown, but it appears that something benefits from having the Mana Spirits sealed away... Ominous GM overtures aside, every one is acquiring at least one ability from Dryad for now, with more possible at levelups. (Some, such as Mario, Fred, Kadzo, Fizbin, Melfina, Kaylie, etc. acquire two). If you can't think of anything, eligible abilities are:
*Wither Plants *Wall of Thorns *Burst (direct Dryad damage) *Sleep Flower *Life Booster *Poison Bubble *Revivifier *Reflect Magic *Leaf Saber *Grow Plants *Magic Stick *Entangling Roots *Thorns
And so on.
Third: The Golem yielded Zexonyte, a rare and powerful material known for many qualities, not least of which is the ability to travel through time unharmed! Everdred also managed to procure a total of two blades worth of the same material.
Fourth: A generally large increase in money, a Broken Orb, Green Elements sufficient for everyone to have at least one...
Fifth: Mario and Fred discovered their first (at least chronologically) Sanctuaries.
Sixth: Though technically from a different fight, the team acquired its first Job Gem! The milky-white opal shape has its facets listed in the Party section.
Seventh: The team's first Materia, Exodus! Mario currently has gained possession of it, but when the spells are mastered, it will cycle to [barring IC or OOC agreement among players otherwise]: One of Cassidy's, one of Cory's, one of Mike's, one of Black's, one of [whoever else]'s, one of Fred's, and finally back to one of Mario's.

Mario continued his sojourn, to destinations known only to him and his newfound allies. Apparently, during this process he attracted the attention of something devastatingly powerful. Wallace's spectral sensor flashed slightly before Cell and Fred's senses kicked into high gear. Whatever this force was, it could take sustained damage from the whole team easily. Fred, Wallace and Cell transported themselves plus Booker, Happy, Haitian and Elixir to the Miami International Airport. They came in time to see Mario and a number of strange allies battling an incredibly large bald figure with a silvery mask-like protrusion from his jawbone. Fred and Elixir recognized one of Mario's new companions immediately: Wolverine, one of the most well-known X-Men! There was also a tall man with dark stubble and a cane, apparently newly in shinigami robes (his cane being a zanpakuto); a Indian ascetic who seemed capable of both teleportation and spewing fire; and a ghost dressed in gray military fatigues (clearly archaic, perhaps 19th century). Their opponent called himself Yammy, and was attempting to retain control of a orange-haired girl who seemed to be insisting they not help. After much of the east wing of the Miami Airport collapsed into the first floor, Yammy was held down by a focus fire barrage of incredible proportions: Ectoplasmic bunker buster missiles from Wallace, Wolverine acquiring in the midst of the fight plasma grenades, Mario's berserk tactic of striking the jawbone mask repeatedly...
Finally, due to Fred's severe injury and his chivalrous charge to pin Yammy's arms down, Fred did something... unusual. It was as if Fred's body was immolating itself, white heat like the core of a star, burning his flesh, a primal rage hollowing him out from the inside. But this force was not enough to hold down the ghostly creature. However, Wolverine's adamantium through the feet, Dhalsim's stretching, Wallace using a rope, Booker stabbing through Yammy's jaw, Happy's Kaleidoscope of Silver continually piercing Yammy, and concentrated damage from Dhalsim and Piccolo brought Yammy to injury. At this point, a black portal opened up from the sky above. However, Cell was faster, as was Fred. Cell absorbed Yammy's physical force while Fred unconsciously ripped out much of Yammy's energy. Fred's form began to change, giving him a slashing tail and the beginning of a jaw mask like Yammy's. Mario and the orange-haired girl, who called herself Orihime, restored him to normal, but it's still a wonder what effects this will have in the long term...
Now those there (except for the unshaven doctor, who apparently is named House), the ghost and Happy are awaiting interrogation.

(OOC: you have a piccolo in there where it should be cell.)
I dont know if this is the best place to ask fred but I have a question.
It seems like all of the teams time is being devoted to the Mechanikar or are you assuming any missions we do are before we head off to defeat the Mechanikar's leader?
Ill just post in them for now and if the answer is that its after Mechnikar then ill just wait to post back in them.

OOG: Nice catch on Piccolo. I'm not editing it, though . I'm assuming that you guys can distribute your time as you wish. At the moment, a small team doing the recon work is wisest, which leaves the rest of the team able to proceed with other projects. There is some variability to the timeline, though, given different times in all the various Associated Worlds and so on (and for some reason it just seems that time is on your guys' side). As long as you're reasonable about time commitments and assignments, I'll allow posting to multiple threads.

Mario and his group boarded Red's airship and managed to get to Maia. Aside from that, the team does not know what their whereabouts or goings-on are.
Also: Batman joined the party! He is the night.
Black, Kazuki and Neji arrived at the Echo Isles. Along the way, they encountered Neji's former comrade, Shino Aburame. Shino was apparently in the area on the same business, Shino temporarily joined.
Shino joined the party! Hope his aloofness doesn't bug you too much.
Almost immediately, this new group was attacked by Makrura. They were assisted by Batman's Batplane. This new five man group began to infiltrate the Echo Isles and were about to ambush some Zalazane Trolls.

It seems that the team's battle with Yammy has attracted some noteworthy attention. Kisuke Urahara, accompanied by a man so far only identified as Kazuma and a young man typically wearing a full raincoat and hat who has identified himself as the Laughing Man were apparently so interested by this turn of events that they flew from Japan to Miami to speak to the group. Unfortunately, they arrived mere minutes too late for Urahara to speak with Orihime. Nonetheless, the information has been relayed back, and were Orihime to really insist she could speak in IM. They also brought some name-game companions: Ken Masters and Ryu Hoshi, well known as previous champions of the various World Tournaments!
Urahara Kisuke has joined the team! Mr. Hat and Clogs will do in a pinch.
Laughing Man has joined the team! Might as well be one of those deaf-mutes...
Kazuma has joined the team! I promise I'll get a job soon.
Ken Masters has joined the team! Shoryuken!
Ryu Hoshi has joined the team! Hadoken!
The fight against the Mechanikar advanced substantially. Thalos, "Blue" the robot and Urza threw themselves into the battle with gusto after a long... hiatus in Cityopolis. Urza prepared a teleporter for an assault. Blue prepared himself to infiltrate, and using data gathered from Urza's work and the team's previous encounters created as much publicity as he could. The governments of Azeroth unfortunately still cannot afford to commit to assistance except in veiled terms. (Though if Black is successful the Darkspear Trolls may become an exception to this rule). They facilitated the hiring of five Goblin mercenaries: The Techies, three arguably sane demolitions experts; Boush, the Tinker; and Razzil Darkbrew, the Alchemist. Those five have already begun their preparations for the siege.
The Techies have joined the team! Bombs away!
Boush has joined the team! Yeah, whatcha want?
Razzil Darkbrew has joined the team! *horrible yells and bonecrunching* No! No! Bad ogre! No treat!
Ken Masters also fronted $10 million to the cause. So far, this has been used to cover a $100,000 hiring of Jake Armitage, apparently a Shadowrunner of some renown with skills ranging from magic to hacking (why Jake was hired for so little remains a mystery).
Jake Armitage has joined the team! Now why is his head ticking...
It also paid for the repair bills of a certain Gene Starwind and his crew of the XGP. Seems that Gene had been treating his ship with a certain degree of cavalier carelessness. $1 million was the cost, but it hired that group by virtue of crushing debt. (Mario would sympathize.)
Gene Starwind has joined the party! Only a few Caster Shells left...
Jim Hawking has made an effective business transaction, insuring building of core competencies and a share of the wealth generated by such lucrative adventurin... oh, fuck it, they're further in debt, Jim's joined the team.
Suzuka has joined the team! Why is she looking at that hourglass?
Aisha has joined the team! For the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire!
Melfina has joined the team! (Yes, she is nude in that tank).
Kazuma decided while the main group was getting acquainted (and Fred was offering Suzuka some nice platonic sake) to run around the Ultimate Shop looking for a fight. While this is often a good recipe for being beaten with a conveniently placed rubber hose, he managed to instead pique the interest of one Boss Master. After a failed attempt at punching said Boss Master, Kazuma realized the fundamental utility of a creature who can generate things to beat up. Kazuma generously took the Boss Master up on... whatever gender that thing is' offer and fought one of X's old foes, Frost Walrus.
Frost Walrus joined the party! I am the walrus.
Also: You got Frost Pillar! [X in front of swirling background]

In their vicious melee against the lost Darkspear controlled by Zalazane, Neji, Black, Shino and Kazuki were soon aided by X, Ken, Pharesh, Melfina, Kaylie, Ness and Kadzo. The fourteen managed to do what hundreds had failed to before: Charge Zalazane, catching Zalazane off guard and defeat him and his minions. Now the Darkspear is cleaning its own house. The rewards for the team are great:
*A new Job Gem! *The aid of Rokhan and Huskar, representatives of the Darkspear *Liberation of Echo Isles and Sen'jin Village - itself a major milestone, and a key prerequisite to liberating Durotar *The Darkspear promise of aid for the assault on the Mechanikar *Money and trade goods amounting to 800 Azeroth Gold *A variety of enchanted and legendary items:
-Zul'Huwa -Dwarven Handcannon - given to Pharesh, powerful rare item plus chance of firing a flaming cannonball -Dazzling Lonsword - chance on hit of reducing enemy armor by 100 and making them unable to stealth or turn invisible -Priest's Mace of Agility - minor enchanted item with an agility buff -Various enchanted items [basically one per character of their design, armor or weapon] -Weapons and leather armor sufficient to help arm the volunteers against the Mechanikar -30 Minor Mana Potions -30 Minor Health Potions -50 Light Leather -50 Kingsblood -50 Copper Ore -50 Tin Ore -50 Iron Ore -20 Malachite -20 Tiger's Eye

Ness and Cell proposed that the team find a way to travel through time. Fred brought up idly that he had some friends, Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Theodore "Ted" Logan, who were the headmen of the seminal rock band Wild Stallyns. He remembered that they had mentioned when very high partying with "So Crates" (presumably Socrates), Genghis Khan, Joan of Arc, Billy the Kid, Napoleon Bonaparte, and others. They clearly had a time machine, and after a cell phone call, Bill and Ted eagerly volunteered.
Bill and Ted have joined the party! Truly un-heinous! An excellent journey awaits!
The Princesses (Elizabeth and Joanna) have joined the party! Hot like a rocket sock!
Bill and Ted brought along two friends from Heaven. One apparently had hitched a ride out of concern over the Great Devouring Beast.
General Leo has joined the party. How sad this mortal coil.
Station has joined the party. Maybe we can get some more good robot usses!
With the option of travel in the temporal dimension opened, Wallace went into his book of Arcana and Esoterica and began to explore the options of history. He discovered a time in history where battles occurred over an artifact called the Sigil of Fire or something similar.
Travelling to this time, they accidentally went to the wrong world and went to 600 A.D. of the Chrono Trigger world. Fighting off goblinoid zombies, they soon met a frog knight who introduced himself as (surprise) Frog. They discovered many things about the adventurer: His true name (Glenn), his battle with Magus and against an ancient force which he did not mention, his love for the queen, his wielding of a legendary blade and a Hero's Medal, and other facts. The time travellers also improved their items quite a bit! After defeating the Frog King by giving up the Medal, Frog agreed to join the party.
Frog has joined the party! Now thou rascals and menaces will cower in heretical fear!

The Butcher, Cell and Mega Man X battled Azala, Lord of the Reptites! After a pitched battle, The Butcher ended the fight decisively. Azala was conjured in the midst of the Ultimate Shop on his Black Tyrano mount. Wondering where his lost people had gone, he resolved both to restore his people and allow them to live in harmony in this new world, as well as take the war that the Great Devouring Beast has declared to its home.
Azala, His Imperial Lord Of All Reptites, has joined the party! Monkeys, hand over the Gate Key! Wait, wrong game.
Meanwhile, in Durotar, Black, Neji, Kazuki and Kadzo slew Bakara, a powerful and rare thunder lizard. In doing so, they acquired some items for themselves as well as showed the mighty power of Zul'Hewa. Lee Rekka, a monk, arrived shortly thereafter, having apparently met the rest of the group and decided to join the Wailing Caverns adventurers. Crossing into the Barrens, Black et al met a strange Murloc who uses a music box ("Goblin Translator") to communicate. Finally, they began to head to Wailing Caverns...

Jaina Proudmoore, Grom Hellscream, Uther Lightbringer, Matram, Kuro, Quinn, El JEFE, Paul Atreides, and Kuwabara joined the team!
Thrall joined the party! We don't do stupid things just because someone yells "For the Horde!" "FOOOOR THE HORDE!" Goddamit.
Sam Axe joined the party! So, a friend of mine says that there's these really good Peach Mojitos...
Jaina Proudmoore, Grom Hellscream, Uther Lightbringer, Matram, Kuro, Quinn, El JEFE, Paul Atreides, and Kuwabara went to help Mario's team. In a few miles, they discovered that it's likely that Undine's capture is connected to a group called Har Megiddo; that Orihime was connected to a new Dimensional Vortex that appeared; and that Saibamen suck.

Black began hunting for a kidnapped kid called Dib, having some intuition that he might be important for the cause. To find Dib, he contacted Chandler Jarrell, a "finder of lost children" who had previously found the Golden Child of Compassion and protected him from Sardum Numspa, a vile demon seeking to destroy compassion itself.
Going to meet Chandler, Black, Neji, Lee and Kazuki found a bank robbery in progress. Neji helped people out of the bank while Black, Lee and Kazuki fought a minor super-thug called Avalanche. Neji defeated him with the devastating Juuken blows that earned him fame. Captain Strong took Avalanche, giving him a deal where he could avoid jailtime if he helped them, pulling some strings with the Los Angeles District Attorney.
Avalanche joined the team! He's cold as ice...
Moving on through the streets of Los Angeles, Black and his companions seemed to fall into the Earth below suddenly as they passed through the alley. Seeing demons attacking two people, they leapt in to help, even though it seemed like the two were okay.
Discovering that the tall man in the leather trenchcoat was Angel of Angel Investigations and the black man with the axe was one of his associates Gunn, the team asked for help in saving Dib. Angel revealed that Illyria, the former demon goddess, had disappeared, and that Los Angeles now had a shadow side created by the Senior Partners as a way to honor their agreement with Angel to back off while still having a foothold in LA.
Angel joined the team! Angel Investigations, we help the helpless. Kate Lockley joined the team! Angel Investigations... oh, you stole my line, you bastard! Gunn joined the team! You were expecting someone else? Connor Reilly has joined the team! A man not of woman born. Cause she was dead.
Meanwhile, while searching for information on Dib's whereabouts, Laughing Man intercepted data on something going on in Colorado. Government chatter across dozens of agencies centered on Bruce Banner undergoing a new... transformation. Luckily, Fred had a contact in the Hulkbusters: Jesse. Fred brought Jesse, Ralph Hinkley, Johnny Blaze, Ghost Rider and a reformed Ganon up to speed regarding the All-Monster, and discovered that Bruce had been transformed by a toxin inflicted by the Eighth Plague, a new Avatar.
Apparently, the Eighth Plague had been Locust Man, a D-list supervillain who could communicate with and summon as many insects as he could convince to do what he wanted, which was thirty at best. The transformation to Avatarhood had allowed Locust Man to hold down Ralph Hinkley, Ganon, Ghost Rider and the Hulk while holding back the vast majority of his power. The Eighth Plague had retreated somehow, untraceable by all of them.
The toxin the Eighth Plague had injected into Bruce had transformed him into a new form, the Apocalypse Hulk. The nomenclature was appended by the only surviving member of a twenty-man Hulkbuster team that was defeated within five seconds. The All-Monster's evil had claimed a hero.
Unfortunately, tracking down the Eighth Plague or the Apocalypse Hulk was proving virtually impossible. Thus, Jesse, Ghost Rider, Fred, Ganon, Johnny Blaze and Ralph Hinkley continued to track down a Ranger mission: Investigate the Saurus-Man Murders, murders apparently connected to some kind of lizard creature.
Johnny Blaze joined the team! Even daredevils sometimes fear a deal with the real devil... Danny Ketch joined the team! Vengeance is in the air tonight. Ganondorf joined the team! The Dark Lord will crush... I mean... Hello, I am Ganondorf of the Gerudo. Jesse joined the team! Ride the lightning! (Dumbass). Ralph Hinkley joined the team! Believe it or not, he's walking on air, it's just the Greatest American Hero.
They finally discovered that the culprit was a young Mokole named Bryan Foster, adopted by the Foster Family (pun intended), who had discovered his heritage later on in life. Bryan was a precocious youth, but he delved too deep into the Mnesis, and something stared back: The All-Monster. First, he went to break up with his ex-girlfriend; instead, the stress caused him to transform and kill her. He then tied himself up at a hotel room, but a manager answered complaints and was kicking him out. He finally sought council from a Native American elder, who he unwittingly killed. He took himself to a spirit cave in Colorado, but could not stop himself from attacking Fred and Jesse. However, Fred and Jesse defeated him.
Dr. Strange and Dr. Samson examined Bryan, and found that they could not help him. To help Bryan, they'd have to enter his mind and destroy the psychic imprint. Dr. Strange suggested that they find a wizard, an expert in shrinking, from the Breath of Fire world, and an artifact called the Dream Rod. Strange healed Bryan's body and soothed his mind in preparation.
After hearing about the All-Monster, Jesse wanted to immediately begin work on interfering with its plans. He decided to go to Newerth, where the battle rages between the Legion and the Hellbourne. Taking the Outlaw Star across several planets, the team prepared to help the Legion.
The Abomination attacked along the way, but was defeated thanks to Neji devastating his chakras. He was pushed into the ocean below.
Then 000 and the Apocalypse Hulk attacked. Dr. Strange and Doc Samson arrived, sensing the dark power amassing. A fierce battle raged with Thrall, Dr. Strange, Jesse, and many others being wounded, knocked unconscious or even killed, but the radioactive power that the Apocalypse Hulk released empowered Ralph's suit, and in a rage he forced the Apocalypse Hulk personality into dormancy, freed Ganon from 000's possession and forced 000 to retreat. However, Ganon's possession was only viable because 000 was able to play on his desires to return to his path of evil power, leading him to re-evaluate the possibility of his redemption. Doctor Strange gave him some advice, but ultimately couldn't answer his most serious questions.
Doc Strange joined the team! By the Gleaming Eye of Agamotto, the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth will not stand idly by as the All-Monster's depradations continue! Doc Samson joined the team! Now, lay back. You comfortable? Good. Now, tell me about your mother...
Finally, the team arrived in Newerth. Dr. Strange suggested, after being reminded that he was not the team leader, that they save individual Hellbourne members who could be redeemed. Thrall believed that Magmus could be brought to heel with the help of a spirit from Hellfire Peninsula.
Black finally made it to Chandler Jarrell's, meeting him and Egg Shen. But then a mysterious android attacked. The Laughing Man had no data on its construction, as if the data were deeply classified. It proved to be such a master of martial arts that it easily held down Angel, Black, Neji, Lee, Kazuki, Egg Shen, Gunn, and Chandler. Eventually, however, it was defeated, but not before it became clear it was yet another Avatar.
Chandler suggested that they look into Dib's classmates and teachers. The suspects quickly narrowed to Zim. Along the way, Black's group found three mutant toads. They introduced themselves as Rash, Zitz and Pimple, the Battletoads.
The Battletoads have joined the team! Totally badical.
Zim revealed his master plan and his captive Dib: Putting mind-control drugs into a new type of refined sugar and taking over America and the West. Black made an aside about how Zim seemed unusually competent. Zim was so hurt that he was easily knocked out...
But then Har Megiddo attacked! Four robots and a mechanical hover-biker were defeated. The man on the bike was revealed to be Burt Munro, the creator of the World's Fastest Indian. He didn't remember much, but luckily, Dib figured out much of Har Megiddo's plan. It seems they intend to insure that the Apocalypse occurs, believing that Jesus will then begin the Rapture. Burt wants to find out what Har Megiddo did to him, and Zim wants to make sure the world is still around to be conquered.
Burt Munro has joined the team! Now if I can just work on my motor-sickle... Zim has joined the team! Now bow, fools! Dib has joined the team! Now maybe someone will listen to me...
Two people came to Wallace's home, asking for Sam Axe. They introduced themselves as Brian Mentor and Fiona Smith, but Laughing Man discovered they were actually Michael Westen, a burned spy, and Fiona Glen-Ann, a former IRA guerilla. They were told that Sam was safe then about the All-Monster on a hunch by Fred. The hunch paid off: Michael put on his glasses and said, "I'll see what I can do."
Michael Westen has joined the team! When fighting an ancient supernatural intelligence, it's important to fight smart, not hard. Fiona Glen-Ann has joined the team! Nothing billions of tons of C4 can't solve.
Ness has informed the team that he hasn't been able to find Poo, Paula and Jeff. He thinks they may be in trouble.

Using data gained from Mario's trek through a Dimensional Vortex (since he never left), the Fate's Guardians were able to find the coordinates to a galaxy far, far away. Going there a long, long time ago, they found a powerful reiatsu signature belonging to an ancient hero: Luke Skywalker. Luke was busy battling a new Avatar, Darth Vatar, who had effortlessly neutralized the entire Praxeum.
Luckily, Toshiro managed to ignore his jobbing instincts and played a major role in defeating Darth Vatar. Luke was brought up to speed about the threat of the All-Monster, and managed to bring his smuggler friend, Han Solo, and his son and apprentice, Ben Skywalker!
Luke Skywalker has joined the team! May the Force be with you... Han Solo has joined the team! I have a bad feeling about this... Ben Skywalker has joined the team! You want me to do WHAT?!
Luke was powerful enough to begin polishing off most of the Boss Master list. At the end of the day, Nizbel, Thunderbird, Bongo Bongo, Volvagia, Phantom Ganon, a Lavos Spawn, Jabba the Hutt, Malikili and Jabba's Rancor, Barinade, Queen Gohma, King Dodongo, Kigetsuki, George Tatsunami, the Anten 7, and the Sound Five were recruited.
Now, all that was left was Darth Vader, the Black X Emperor Shuzer, the Pit Lord Mannoroth, the puppetmaster Master Hand, the demon lord Kouryu, and the entity Abyss.
Beginning with Darth Vader, Luke, Dr. Strange, General Leo, Urahara, Elixir and Bruce Banner rallied their power to recruit a powerful foe.
When Darth Vader was recruited, Tekhmage built him new cybernetics

Quite a lot has transpired since last we checked in with our heroes.
Dr. Strange revealed that it was time for him to select a successor, or perhaps many, to his mantle of Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. While many could claim the title through means fair and foul, he was grooming a small contingent for the task: Jesse, Mario, Fred, Orihime and Kazuki. Special trials awaited each of them.
Strange then informed the group that he had gleaned something the Avengers had been hiding: Their best membership had been captured by someone. Doyle had a vision that this someone was Doom, and it was connected to the All-Monster. The time had come to siege Latveria and save Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Quicksilver, Captain America, the Scarlet Witch and the Fantastic Four. Oddly enough, the Hulk did not come along on this mission to save his fellow Avengers. Perhaps he was afraid of them seeing his Apocalypse Hulk form, or wished to work on other goals.
Getting to Latveria was no easy task, so the group turned to outside help. Sam had heard of two teams: One a group of Vietnam veterans who had been accused of a crime they didn't commit, and another a group of criminals led by one honest man.
The Leverage team has joined the team! Nate: We provide... leverage. Elliot: I hate guns. Guns have a specific range of efficacy. Most guys... they get too close. Alec Hardison: Age of the geek, baby! Sophie Devereaux: Have you seen my new Broadway performance? Parker: Wait, are we going to steal from the All-Monster?
The A-Team has joined the team! I love it when a plan comes together.
With the help of these experts, they managed to get a trip through Latverian Air with their weapons and abilities intact.
Arriving in Latveria, a Doom Bot noticed the interlopers and began an attack. Its magic was immensely powerful, hinting that Doom had massively expanded his magical knowledge and skill. The All-Monster must have been to blame.
Kazuki had found an item that granted him a weekly wish. With his immense power, he thought that it would be kind to give Orihime her dearest wish: To be safely reunited with Ichigo. The wish also brought over Orihime's friends, and people Orihime had felt might be redeemable or trusted Ichigo and the rest to recruit.
Ichigo Kurosaki has joined the team! Is the All-Monster's pride connected to destroying the universe? If so, I'll trample all over that shit.
Rukia Kuchiki has joined the team! It is the duty of every Soul Reaper to protect the universe... ooh, Chappy!
Chad has joined the team! My abuelo's spirit lives on with me.
Renji Abarai has joined the team! The monkey fights for his pack.
Grimmjow Jaggerjack has joined the team! Filthy fucking Shinigami...
Coyote Starrk has joined the team! Maybe they're strong enough to be my friends...
Dordonii has joined the team! Whirl, Giraldo, and smash that nino!
Gantenbainne has joined the team! Let's have a fair fight...
The larger group moved on towards the castle. As they went, they encountered two other infiltration teams, one led by Cecil Harvey under the aegis of Baronian intelligence, the other
Warrior of Light has joined the team! Let us end the chaos.
Firion has joined the team! The Xenosians must meet the same fate as the Palamecians.
Luneth the Onion Knight has joined the team! I won't fight anyone I can't beat.
Cecil Harvey has joined the team! The son of the dragon shines bright.
Golbez has joined the team! Transcend the stars.
Bartz Klauser has joined the team! Oh, wow, new Jobs?!
Terra Branford has joined the team! For a bright new world...
Cloud Strife has joined the team! Won't be happy about this one at the end of it...
Squall Leonhart has joined the team! The lion defends his pride.
Zidane Tribal has joined the team! I am become Death, Destroyer of Worlds... nah, just kidding.
Tidus has joined the team! I'm a drownball champ... no, wait, Blitzball.
Jecht has joined the team! COME ON, COME ON, COME ON!
Cyan has joined the team! For the lost kingdom of Doma.
Gabranth has joined the team! Strays unite...
Vaan has joined the team! Wait, where am I?
Sazh has joined the team! Chocobo... we just can't catch a break, can we?
Swamp Thing has joined the team! Plants and animals... we're part of a symbiotic cycle. We can't let the All-Monster kill them, or we die too.
Blade has joined the team! I'm a slice above the competition.
Static Shock has joined the team! I'm gonna shock the All-Monster's system.
Soul Power has joined the team! Funkay.
Yomiko Readman has joined the team! Wow, such nice books! (DiNozzo and Fred: "Hot librarian")
Luke Cage has joined the team! Hero for hire... but this one's free.
Marty Goldstein has joined the team! No, don't mind me, I just brought the canapes.
Inside Doom's castle, the group split up into a few teams. The first broke into the interdimensional prison Doom had constructed and defeated Doom's jailer, himself a prisoner: Magellan, the poison god of Impel Down. They also found that Fred had unwittingly summoned an ancient demon called the Red Blaze...
Firebrand has joined the team! Honor demands nothing less.
Magellan has joined the team! I see many prisoners in my path.
The remaining groups battled Avatars, Sir Nemesis and Dr. Doom. After Free's Independent Cube, Gus' Magic Head powers, and the cumulative attack power of many great heroes, the Avatars were killed (albeit temporarily) and Nemesis and Doom captured. Doom and Nemesis realized they were played, and joined the group.
Dr. Doom has joined the team! No one trifles with DOOM!
Sir Nemesis has joined the team! The All-Monster will be purged for his insolence.
Having freed the prisoners, the liberators of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four trained under them in one of Black's dojos.
Unfortunately, the news came quickly that the Mechanikar had finally made their move. Allying with the Splugorth, and having purchased Naruni and other weaponry, they had launched with great vengeance upon Azeroth and Earth. The team managed to coordinate with the US government and a few others, but they still had to save many cities...
Moving quickly, the group liberated Magmus and Deadwood, as well as recruiting Gau.

After having freed much of the Avengers, it was revealed that Aizen was finally planning to make his move on Karakura Town. Orihime insisted that she help Ichigo, so with his mastery of dungeons, Dungeon Man was teleported in by the team's best space-time manipulators and led a small team in rescuing Ichigo, Renji, Uryu, and Rukia.
Aizen, realizing that his plan to trap the ryoka in Las Noches and thereby divert the forces of his enemies had failed, revealed his trump card. The All-Monster's power and evil had graciously supplied with Aizen with far more Hollow power, allowing him to introduce 10 new Nuevo Espada, numbered -1 to -10. He also revealed that he had arranged things so that the death of these powerful Espada would provide him with the souls he needed. No matter how the defenders of Karakura Town proceeded, they would fail.
Defeating the Negative Espada and allowing Aizen to believe that he had secured the King's Key, the group made a last stand in the King's Dimension. When Aizen emerged, powered by the Hogyoku, Shunsui's shikai challenged him to a game... a game where, upon realizing that one is playing, one loses. Aizen's ego was so immense that to "lose", even in such a trivial way, did immense damage. As the Hogyoku reformed him, he was swarmed by hundreds of heroes, including his own ally Gin Ichimaru. Aizen had no choice but to surrender.
After securing this victory, it was time to move against Madara Uchiha. Again, by providing Madara with sufficient energy to launch the Moon Eye, the group managed to bait him into having his own hypnosis reversed upon him by the Mirror of Ra and by Shinji Hirako's reversing power.
Having thus Liberated both the Naruto world and Soul Society, as well as Karakura Town, the team had gained dozens of powerful new allies: All of Konoha, Kazekagure, etc., and all of Soul Society and Aizen's arrancar.
However, this good news was quickly tempered by bad: The Dark Tournament was beginning, and they were "invited".
Hoping to avoid multiple powerful teams ganging up on the clear top seed, Thrash, Badcat and Xenocratis recommended getting their ship back. A team composed of Badcat, Batman, Terry McGinnis, Dr. Manhattan and Deadpool managed to unlock the three defenses that had been corrupted by Electrica, and soon the speedsters (Flash, Badcat, Rock Lee, Superman, Quicksilver, etc.) were able to restore the ship to working condition.
Launching the Ranger's Wings for the first time in months and heading to the Dark Tournament, the team was surprised by a particle beam blast that managed to lower the Ranger Wing's immense defenses just enough to allow an enemy insertion team on board. New Avatars introduced themselves. Zolf Kimblee had apparently pacted with the All-Monster to avoid his death. The Amestrisian analog to Einstein, Major Steinbruder, had also joined the All-Monster to look at the resulting data of the universe collapsing. 000 had been prevented from becoming an Avatar retroactively by the power of the Chrono Trigger, but it appeared that his slot was instead taken by Larry (dead Larry?), Michael Westen and Sam Axe's old comrade, now-enemy. There was also a Cowboy, name a' Joshua Bidden, who seemed to relish facing even temporary defeat at the hands of Shikamaru and Lassiter, so bored of winning he had become thanks to an Indian woman's ironic curse. "T'ain't nothin' more useless than a gunslinger who can't win". Leroy Gibbs not-so-gently reminded him, "Losing isn't all it's cracked up to be". They were accompanied by a would-be Dark Tournament team who had been ordered by their Ork Boss to attack the Fate's Guardians early and destroy them. A brutal melee erupted, but in the end, the Avatars and Team Slasha Smasha was resigned to the dustbin of history (and to the not-so-tender mercies of Ibiki Morino). Doing so unlocked the summons of Zhain, Sinistral of Agony, and the Talon of Morgoth, a Baalrog stronger than the one that felled Gandalf!
At the Dark Tournament, Emiya's ability to see the "character sheets" of the opponents informed him that this was going to be an uphill battle. Koenma, manager for both the Fate's Guardians and Team Urameshi, had revealed that, unsurprisingly, the organizers of the tournament had rigged things so that the Fate's Guardians and Team Urameshi had among the most fights of any team, no byes, and would face each other likely in the quarter or semi final matches so as to insure that only one team could continue to the finals.
Realizing that bringing on unexpected muscle prior to registration might be wise, Kevin accompanied a small team to Hyrule and sought out the Hero of Time. Hearing from the denizens of Castle Town that he had been brought to a cave that had just opened up, they went to rendezvous. Meeting Link, they soon found that the cave had been set by Tiny and the Big Squad, an elite unit of Xenosia. However, the trap was soon rendered moot by teleporting. "Sheik" also joined the group. It's still not certain if Link realizes that Sheik is, in fact, Zelda...
Link has joined the team! The Hero of Time brings the Master Sword to bear!
"Sheik" has joined the team! Hey, has anyone seen the Princess?
Moving onto the Kingdom Hearts Interdimensional Aperture Space, the team discovered that the byways and highways were clogged with level 200+ Heartless. Expressing apparent impatience with Gummi Ship levels, Thrash unleashed Tellah's Meteo and Xeno fired the Ranger's Wings 80-foot rail minigun, bombarding the last Heartless with 12-inch fusion shells until it had been ground to smithereens.
The sight of that space awaited them...

When the team arrived in the space around Kingdom Hearts, Fred's heart dropped. Kevin was able to identify very rapidly what had happened. Massive hunks of void filled the space, areas where remnants floated as isolated detritus, entire worlds seeming to have been smashed through a thresher. These were where the Associated Worlds used to be.
After this realization sank in, the ship began to shake ominously. Some gigantic void filled the air, beginning to warp the barrier and the material of the Ranger's Wings. A creature introduced itself as the Void Heartless, the incarnation of the cosmos' callousness, cruelty and arbitrariness. Its immense power allowed it to instantly devastate the team. Before they died, however, a wish, the power of Kratos, Badcat, Fred, the supreme control of Kevin, and coordination from others teleported the group... but this led to them being separated!
In the Pirates of the Caribbean world, Zabuza, Kisame, Duuz the Werebear, Jack Sparrow, Kenshin, and Swamp Thing emerged from the dimensional dislocation on a long, chicken-filled beach. This was Plunder Island, the home of retired pirates, with its major port, El Puerto Pollo. Discovering both a ship in the cove where the LeChimp Pirates used to be and an attack on El Puerto Pollo, they moved to stop the attacks on the island. Zabuza tried to recon the ship in the cove, but got interrupted by a Dragon Behemoth. The rest of the group went to save him, but had to withdraw after the Behemoth's defeat due to a mysterious sniper whose attacks were rather similar to Gin Ichimaru's!
Sieging LeChuck's ship, they found that the Avatars had provided him with Heartless and enhanced powers. They had to fight a Heartless of Magus who summoned a Heartless of Lavos. Luckily, they had the assistance of Murray, the Demonic Skull. Moving on to battle LeChuck himself, they found that his powers and his unkillability were making him rather aggravating. Zabuza offered him a Black Ring, as LeChuck is nothing if not dead. LeChuck accepted, on the condition that Guybrush also be killed (but the group used the Pox of LeChuck to transform Guybrush into an immortal as well), but this prompted DF to attack for having betrayed the Avatars. DF's attack kept the team destabilized, but eventually they managed to behead him and place Murray's skull on DF's body, giving Murray his own body for the first time in more than a year. Finally, Kenshin's ultimate weapon managed to reverse one of DF's own attacks upon him and end him.
Murray, the Demonic Skull, has joined! He will walk (walk?) ROLL! through the gates of hell, carrying the All-Monster's head on a pike!
Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate, has joined the party! I'm a flooring inspector on the weekends.
The Ghost Pirate LeChuck has joined the party! Arrrr, just don't give me any root beer.
Elaine Marley Threepwood has joined the party! Don't mind my husband, he's just trying to get into your locked cellar with a carrot and a string. He'll stop after making a few snarky comments at the screen.
In Radiant Garden, Superman, Fred, Batman, and Cecil found that things had become quite ominous. A full scale Xenosian attack had bathed the city in eternal darkness, and the Heartless would coordinate with Xenosian squads to keep the population in terror and in doors. Locke Cole and Goofy pulled the four into a secret basement to keep them from being discovered by Xenosian troopers. Superman immediately felt that the masking effect of the darkness had dampened his and the others' powers. Locke, Goofy, Merlin and Barret Wallace revealed that they were resisting the Xenosians, alongside whatever other Radiant Garden citizens, as Returner Avalanche. However, Fred had other information: He knew Merlin was present at the Councils and knew about the All-Monster.
Merlin revealed all. He told the assembled group about the Councils that emerged to defeat the All-Monster. Ultimately, however, the death of O'Tengu and the power of the Archaic Avatars so whittled down the strength of the heroes that they could not seal the creature without a sacrifice. Aside from the lives and effort they had already given, they could sacrifice the battle itself. O'Tengu's recommendation to keep the information from the world, then, was prescient: He not only did not want a Damocles Sword hanging above the head of the world, but also knew that making the sacrifice of secrecy, of valor, of not being able to even remember the deaths of their fallen comrades, would be the only shield sufficient to keep the All-Monster trapped, if only for a thousand years.
Merlin then declared that this would be the time for the All-Monster's true defeat. For instead of dozens of heroes, they had hundreds.
Barret insisted that the meeting get back to the proximate problem: Freeing Radiant Garden. Fred decided that hope was exactly what this city needed. If they could open the central hub of Radiant Garden to Middle Earth, they could find Aragorn or Gandalf and light the beacons of Radiant Garden as they had Gondor. From there, Fred had a plan... Batman immediately swung into his role: Terrorizing the soldiers and reminding them that the night and the darkness protect no one.
On Mobius, the alternate Earth of Sonic, Joel, Martian Manhunter, Samus, Kiba, Badcat, Ray, Lightning of the Three Storms and [last guy] found a similar situation. Artificial darkness covered the planet. The Fated One Finder indicated that a fast Fated One was heading towards them. Preparing for the worst, the group found that Sonic was being chased by a Xenosian weapons platform piloted by...
The Famous Xenosian Patriots, Tiny and the Big Squad!
Tiny! The Squad Commander!
Bombast! The Egregious Bombardier!
Pressure! The Ragin' Magin'!
Rapid Dominance! The Pain Turbocharger!
Eclipse! The Shield and the Spear, The Sun and the Moon!
Cutthroat! The Vorpal Mecha-Shinobi!
Johnny Hairtrigger Spray! The Flak Burst!
Expertise! The Ace Up The Sleeve!
Tiny and the Big Squad's minds, shielded though they were by electromagnetic psi-dampeners, provided plenty of useful information. Tiny had managed to discover that Dib's dad was put onto analyzing Zim's technology and bringing that power to bear for the Xenosians. MM could tell that Tiny and the Big Squad were out of their league, but courageous and patriotic. However, while good soldiers, they were deeply disturbed by working with Robotnik, opening portals with a Keyblade user who was clearly deranged, etc. Apparently, the Xenosians were going to hand Robotnik the planet, under the condition Robotnik help them exterminate the non-human denizens of Mobius. Thus, Mobius faced a perfect storm of Heartless, Hollows, eternal night, Moebius invaders, Organization XIII interference, Xenosian invasion, and Robotnik domination.
The battle with the Big Squad awaited!
General Grievous, having been unlocked in the Boss Master by Obi-Wan Kenobi's revival, was fought by Neji, Hachigen Ushoda, Joel and Samus. However, Grievous found himself outmatched by Neji. Hachi's barriers absorbed Grievous' barrage, opening him for Neji to use his Limit Break to find a weakness and power through it by pouring his Gentle Fist chakra into his lightsaber, ending Grievous in one blow.
Basque Gran was similarly easy to defeat. Lassiter's quick draw shot the Iron Blood Alchemist in the head, R. Giskard took advantage of this opening to devastate his mind, and as the Iron Blood Alchemist feebly fired tank shells in every direction, Sam cut him open with legendary katanas.
But recruiting Genjo Sanzo, the I-Jin clone of the great monk who Journeyed to the West, proved somewhat more difficult for Jukai, Luke Cage and Jack the Reaper. Chasing after the Nimbus Cloud the monk used and evading his Monkey King Staff and fire breath proved difficult, but eventually, Jukai propelling Luke as Luke air stepped to keep up with the monk proved effective. Sweet Christmas brought the monk down from Nimbus, and Jack delivered the coup de grace.
Elsewhen and elsewhere, Hazanko's scrying discovered a problem: Tifa's ki line was becoming very faint. Cloud scarcely listened to anything else, and over Fred's objections, left with Golbez, Jack the Reaper, Dib, Aeris, Zaraki, Byakuya and Violent J. Thrash opened them a portal to the Ghost Realm, discovering with visions from Fred, Doyle and others that a man Jack the Reaper identified as Vlad Plasmius was involved. Sieging the ectoplasmic castle Vlad had created, they discovered that Vlad or someone else was somehow controlling and even empowering the Fright Knight. After the Fright Knight was sealed by Dib's ghost trap, the castle gates were broken through by Golbez's creature of shadow, but not before a young boy arrived announcing he intended to protect his friend: Danny Phantom.
Inside, the plot thickened. Vlad was apparently working with Atheax, Heath's Nobody. Atheax asked Cloud and Danny to separate their hearts once more so that they could insure that Cloud and Danny's Nobody would stay alive. Atheax explained that Nobodies have forgotten what it is like to feel, but think that, perhaps with more of them, they might remember something, or at least be as happy as they can be. The party could understand. They had seen the pain and loss Axel had dealt with, and imagined it was only worse for those like Roxas. But Cloud and Danny refused, so Atheax fought them, hoping to release their evil. Vlad revealed new powers granted by Atheax, and a deadly battle ensued, ended finally by Danny's ghostly wail amplifying numerous black holes, Dib destroying the Box Ghost's cage within which the Dark Boxes that kept Sam and Tifa Lockhart trapped were held, and Cloud destroying the barriers and controlling the resulting black holes with Gravity. Not only was an unconscious Tifa finally in Cloud's arms once more, and Sam protected by Danny, but the Box Ghost, Vlad and the Fright Knight were all displeased with being used. But as Heath began to warp away, he managed to take a Nobody he did not expect: Golbez's Nobody, birthing Zelbogax Varhey.
Luckily, Jack the Reaper had managed to give more insight to the nature of Organization XIII, combined with what Atheax had said. Organization XIII's stated primary mission is to protect Nobodies and create new ones. This puts them orthogonal to the Fate's Guardians and the All-Monster: While they do not want to see everything destroyed, the All-Monster's victory might create new Nobodies and allow the universe to experience what it is like to be them. However, Jack believes that he knows the new leader of the group. Nigel, a British biochemist and medical researcher, had lost his frail and sickly wife who he had doted upon. Jack remembered her moving on with tremendous love and happiness. But Nigel did not take the death well. He wanted to understand the soul and how it worked, so he split his own heart so he could become a Nobody and understand its condition.
If Nigel succeeded, and Jack believes that he did, this would make him the first complete Nobody: A Nobody who still has a heart, a mind and a body as well as a soul. A man like this would be unstoppably powerful, more so than Xehanort. But it is also his goal that is troublesome. Understanding the nature of the soul could make it immune to death, to passing on. Death could end on a global scale. The powers of the soul could be brought to bear to heal flawlessly and perfectly. No wonder that the Nobodies, creatures of rationality first and foremost, are willing to trade thousands for billions.
It looks like, in addition to a war against the All-Monster and its pawns, Organization XIII is on the rise, led by a charismatic and powerful leader. And it is possible that, with a man capable of understanding and controlling the soul, that the original members have been returned to their full vitality...
Later, at the Dark Tournament...
After registering, the party awaited debriefing by Koto. Apparently, only the first round would be held in the traditional arena: The rest would be moved to the second arena, and new surprises would be unveiled for the contenders. The matchups were revealed, and more bad news was discovered: Not only did both Team Urameshi and Team Fate's Guardians have to fight more teams than others, but they were set to fight each other in the quarter-finals or semi-finals, insuring that the non-heroic teams would have more of a chance to make it to the finals.
The team's first matchups were against unknowns called the Krinodaemons. The team members were clouded in a shroud of darkness, making it impossible to ascertain their skills. Black stepped up as the provisional team captain, meeting his opposite number and arranging one-on-one fights, single elimination.
Duuz the Werebear stepped up to fight first. His opponent was revealed to be... a walking mountain. Soon, the team's shamans and scholars figured out that mountains, prior to the Gurahl, were the guardians of the spirit world. Duuz fought valiantly, striking Bh with a tsunami and magma attacks, but ultimately, smashing barrier walls crushed Duuz. Duuz had barely harmed Bh.
Sinestro reasoned that he might be more lucky, as the head of the Yellow Lantern Corps. His opponent was revealed to be Nightsnarl, a Wolf spirit from before humanity's ascension. Nightsnarl represented and projected fear, not just as a means to control others but for the good of organisms. Sinestro initially found himself outmatched: Nightsnarl could absorb his Yellow Lantern energy and his fear effects from Parallax, turning that fear into deadly attacks and strength much like Knox. Sinestro managed to pull out a win, after nearly being mauled to death by Nightsnarl's pack, by conjuring images of his entire Corps and hammering Nightsnarl for a full minute with attacks that could smash a planet to dust.
Black stepped up next, fighting the team captain he had earlier spoken to. Cessation revealed himself to be Death before Death: The ender and sealer of things that had emerged in the Big Bang. His box let him release quark-gluon plasma and the infinite cold void that had existed prior to the universe and continued to surround it. Black found himself utterly outmatched, even having become the Elemental Lord of Fire, but Cessation proved amenable to a one-on-one match without trickery. The two traded blows, Cessation's strikes capable of dusting mountains. But Black managed to hold on long enough to perceive ancient truths hidden in Cessation's fighting style and combine that ancient knowledge into his formal skill. Black emerged victorious.
Sasori reasoned that it was unlikely that he'd fight an opponent capable of dealing with his hundred deadly puppets, especially after extensive upgrades. He had secretly been cloning members on the team and creating puppets from them as he had the Kazekage. But the opponent of his, Technikos, revealed that it was a master of ancient technology. It produced from its conch shell body a thousand puppets, bragging, "You conquered a nation with your hundred puppets. I conquered a planet." Technikos' high technology allowed him to counter every one of Sasori's moves, as his puppets were immune to heat, poison and the puppets' blades. Ultimately, Sasori countered the entire array by destroying his own puppets and going for a last lunge, but Technikos countered by detonating himself. The two tied, bringing the total to 3-2.
Lord Frieza took the lead next. Frieza was confident in his immense power that used to bring the universe to its knees. But Frieza was astonished to discover his opponent's identity: The True Law, Narch. Narch was a Proto-Agerus, a species similar to modern Agerus and Evintos. Narch initially dominated Frieza by using mighty technology such as Homing Black Holes and Red Death Spores, but Frieza had acquired new tricks, and his ability to heal using Elements and launch endless attacks. Narch had to unveil powers he had not used for ages: Tempus Fugit; the true power of his blade; and, finally, a concentric wave attack that could have pounded the Earth to dust, the legendary True Huhentae. Frieza responded with the power inherited from his nemesis, Kamehameha, and managed to survive using his ship's ability to heal him. Both ancient emperors brought themselves to their arms, but too late: Koto's countdown made this another tie, two in a row, unprecedented in the Dark Tournament!
Deidara fought next. This Krinodaemon was a super-intelligent shade of the color blue, an ancient explosives expert who had developed the Chaos Engine. This mastery of chaos emphasized Huuhuualu's true philosophy: That art, even above being transient or permanent, is observed, not created. He opened by combining two separate cosmic strings, creating a teraton explosion! Dr. Manhattan teleported the crowd into space so the atmosphere wouldn't be ignited, while Jirobo, Manhattan, Jiraiya, Badcat, Thrash and Xenocratis cooperated to keep the explosion contained. Deidara used C4 but unwittingly allowed Huuhuualu to activate his Chaos Engine. Deidara revealed, however, that Martian Manhunter, Mr. Fantastic, Wallace Hermann, Charlie Eppes, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, Kisuke Urahara, Szayel Aporro Grantz, and the other scientists had managed to make him a Clayface. They needed to have a massive charge, though, that could not be contained on the planet. Deidara had found his charge. But the barrage of attacks he was under kept him from launching his plan to turn his arm into a Cell copy and drop it on enemies: Solar wind assaults, X-ray lasers... Finally, Deidara hoped to overcharge the engine and destroy it, but unfortunately, this backfired. Deidara was defeated, bringing it to 4-4.
Free felt that he needed to bring the record up to a winning one. Entering the arena, his opposite number turned out to be... a beautiful woman, astonishingly gorgeous, perfect. This woman identified herself as sister to all witches, which allowed her to be identified as Lilith, intended wife for Adam. Lilith proceeded to grievously harm Free through her magic: Creating a wolfsbane forest to keep him trapped and deprived, summoning apex predators to challenge the wolf, using his own ice magic against him to shatter Free's body. But Free revealed his prodigious skill extended beyond what it had before, with Steel Rain, and with the creation of a Ba Gua Territory. Using this territory, he moved through her own mage field and struck her with an Independent Cube. She mirrored this, letting both face the rain of steel together. But Free's will to fight and live never waned, and so she fell, giving him her eye as a gift. Free has discovered that, as a beast with no true name, his magical limits knew no bounds. The Fate's Guardians now led the Krinodaemons 5-4.
The first round of the Dark Tournament has proven exhausting. Even those not fighting are finding their skills are constantly being used, to prevent the death of the crowd and the other contenders. The Krinodaemons may be a harbinger of things to come, an omen that tomorrow's getting harder, make no mistake. Will the Fate's Guardians be able to fend off these superior opponents and continue to pull out victories with luck, determination and skill? Or will they fall to age-old experience?
Upbeat Japanese pop ending plays.

Kirby had the idea of reaching out to Gamera, Friend to Children! R. Giskard reached out to the creature and managed to indicate to it the true danger of the All-Monster. Gamera had detected vague inklings of what was going on, but was surprised by the true magnitude.
Gamera, Friend to Children, has joined the party!
Meanwhile, in the search for Cloud's former teammates, Vincent Valentine had come up as a dead end. Rufus and Shinra had no idea where he was. Dr. Strange managed to track him to a secret laboratory in Nibelheim. He could not tell who was in the laboratory, as if magic itself was being rent asunder at that location. Or maybe his scrying pool had viewed 100 hours of footage and needed to be reset.

Kratos, Zechs Merquise, Tetsuo, Sam, Free, Cloud, Joel, Box Ghost, Starrk and Link appeared in a strange world, a battlefield that apparently contained a gigantic humanoid castle battling an Oozaru and someone resembling Azrael, Batman's protege, strongly. The Oozaru revealed itself to be Daikon, a Saiyan who had signed a pact with the All-Monster out of revenge for what happened to his planet. The All-Monster apparently has quite a collection of extinct, victimized or near-extinct species who have turned to it in times of need. Daikon and Razaxel, the Nobody of Azrael and another Organization XIII member, devastated this group, but ultimately a decisive attack by Kratos, Box Ghost, Starrk and Free against Daikon and a coordinated combination of Steel Rain, Cero Mescalleta, Magnetism and Ice Arrows against Razaxel led to their defeat.
Rook explained that the war among the Demigods to become the new All-Father of their pantheon was being hijacked by Org. XII and the Avatars.
Rook has joined the party! I am a house.
Fighting Razaxel, the team has discovered an increasingly disturbing bit of information. So far, the Organization XIII members encountered have been Atheax and Razaxel, and there is suspicion that Nigel is the leader as his new identity of Xingel. Axel confirmed that he had found none of his fellow Organization members in the afterlife, indicating that they were resurrected. Between all the members besides Axel and Xemnas, Razaxel, Atheax and Xingel, there are more than thirteen members of Organization XIII. Might something new be going on?
While Rook was sent to Destiny Islands to help prepare it against the oncoming invasion of Nobodies, the Vincent quest line was resolving itself. Sid, Michael Westen and Neji infiltrated and discovered that the secret base in Nibelheim was a Xenosian base testing something called the Armageddon's Gaze. After defeating a Drained Materia Gigas, the team took the shape of Dead Larry, Major Schwarz Steinbruder and Joshua Bidden. They met Dr. Shojin Avenderxamen, a Xenosian scientist who seemed to know quite a bit about the All-Monster. Shojin acted deferential and afraid at first, but his eyes lit up as he tested his new weapon, ending Sapphire WEAPON in one blow, terrorizing Midgar, cutting a hole in Fabul, and destroying a XLF camp.
Unfortunately, Shojin had finally seen through the ruse. Though the team had discovered much of the Xenosian's information, and managed to make off with it, he summoned Avatars to protect the all-important installation. Shojin revealed that he had been tampering with dark powers, and had taken quite a bit of the All-Monster's own power by simulating it artificially. The battle began in earnest, and two new Avatars had become introduced: Psycho and a thus-far unnamed Kekkaishi.
Thrash used his Ultima Ray to kill Dead Larry and Darth Vatar. Archer used the Thompson Contender used by his father, Emiya Kiritsugu, to disable the Kekkaishi's barriers and to free Ozai from his bonds to the All-Monster. Black brought his record against his android opponent to 2-2, his powers gained in the crucible of the Dimensional Vortex giving him the edge. Kazuki's wish-granting artifact allowed him to summon quite a horde of new people, including Rydia, Emiya Kiritsugu, Lancer, Iskander, Lancelot, Princess Garnet, and other summoners, in order to neutralize the Warped Aeons that Shojin created. Itachi managed to copy Ideal, the psychic Ultima equivalent, from Psycho. Eventually, the Avatars were defeated, and the Armageddon's Eyelet destroyed.
The caves revealed the following items:
10 Master Command Materia 10 Master Summon Materia 10 Master Magic Materia Famfrit Materia Zeromus Materia Golden Knight Materia Adrammalech Materia Ultima Materia Cuchulainn Materia Truestrike Materia Damage Reduction Materia Spell Resistance Materia Hyper Armor Materia Vantage Materia Vampire's Heart Materia (store excess drained HP and MP)
Unfortunately, the firing of the Armageddon's Eyelet has caused the Lifestream to release swarms of WEAPONS. While this might seem initially useful, the All-Monster has shown the ability to hijack creatures like this, and this threat to the entirety of the universe has caused Opal Weapon, Amethyst Weapon, Alpha Weapon, Shinryuu Weapon, Phantom Weapon, Nether Weapon to go on a wild destructive spree.
And as the Armageddon's Eyelet was disintegrated, Fred got a feel that a certain Magus might call a black wind...

The last parts of the preparation for the siege of Destiny Islands began! Howl, Tal Rasha, Black and others began a Boss Master fight against Kiyoji Mujyou. Mujyou's castle and Holy Eye devasted Howl's castle, but Black managed to beat Mujyou at his own game, lagging him then striking him so many times Mujyou was forced to retreat into the Alter Force, where Baal consumed him.
Kiyoji Mujyou has joined the team! Absorption, Black Joker and White Ace!
Mujyou proceeded to absorb immense power from Exdeath, Golbez, the Three Evils and other archetypal sources of power.
Fred indicated that he had Archer summon Heimerdinger, Shen and Anivia as Champions to provide needed support.
With that, preparation began in earnest! Dr. Manhattan teleported all of people and houses of the outlying islands to Destiny Island to allow there to be one single defense. Mujyou created an Alter castle with protectors for each denizen of the island and produced tactical assistance spires and structures, with Shikamaru as head tactician. Archer prepared a sniping position and set up what he needed to provide on the spot support. Golbez set his Third Moon to patrol the island. Aquaman protected the northern half of the ocean, using the creatures of the waters as an early warning mechanism and for defense. Ayase projected her Noble Ocean to the southern waters, prepared to detonate explosions upon all incoming attackers. Sasori distributed his new thousand puppets around the island. Thrall bellowed for the Horde, and while he initially only got fifty supporters, he was able to have his Peons construct a Great Hall. Rider set up for both Blood Fort Andromeda and Bellerophon. Iskander patrolled on his Gordius Wheel. Heimerdinger set up Self-Evolving Turrets. Samus flew about the island on a patrol path in her ship. Engineer set up his turret and prepared to hold the line. Firestorm and Yomiko prepared to construct chokepoints. Howl set up his castle. Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sid and Vincent took sniper positions in special redoubts. Raine, Captain Unohana and Aeris prepared to heal. Venom set himself on island defense. Komamura defended the southeastern peninsula, while Frieza took east-by-northeast. Captain America inspired the troops with his General abilities. Gilgamesh opened the Gate of Babylon and flew in Vimana. The AI Director, conjured by the AVGN and a battered copy of Fright Night, prepared a Witch, a Tank, and a whole horde.
The tense air was cut by one of Black's least favorite sights: Hordes of zombies. The AI Director explained that these was Archetypal Zombies, and the AVGN provided additional explication. These zombies represented the fear of teeming urban masses, and thus behaved like Plague Rats from Dominaria in that each zombie made each other zombie stronger. Yomiko, Anivia, and the other wall creators used their abilities to make the zombies' numbers count as nothing, channeling them into their own Thermopylae. Archer conjured Excalibur and used it to turn a massive amount so that Venom could use his Anti-Venom powers and begin a wave of curing using the one remaining lone zombie as a weak vector for the disease.
The zombies were revealed to be a trap and mere fodder, however. They were turned by Xanikan the Man-Machine Berserker into Dark Side spirits, which rained down Force Lightning and made a beeline for the Island. Mujyou's castle drained many of them, but not all.
Meanwhile, a heated battle began against the five Organization XIII members. Saix, the Luna Diviner. Xajnus, the Zero Face. Arostfax, the Incandescent Shield. Mypox, the Giant Maker. Captain America managed to prevent Mypox from shrinking the entire island into oblivion or capture by reminding Mypox of his memories of Hank Pym, his original. Xajnus sniped away, seemingly impervious. Saix bashed through Ayase easily and was about to smash Kevin. Kevin taunted him with a Blue Ring creation of Axel, but it was apparent that the moon Saix was channeling was created by a fusion of Bardock and King Vegeta's Nobodies, and he was beyond reason. Cloud charged him and blade-locked him, the two warriors battling evenly until Saix weakened him with Moon Magic. The moon was eventually neutralized, but Saix was still too angry in this horrible night to have a curse.
Martian Manhunter attempted to telepathically attack the Organization XIII members and was having some success, but unfortunately the hero was vulnerable to Dun Moch. Xanikan turned Martian Manhunter's skill against him and filled him with rage at the pettiness and evil of humanity, turning Martian Manhunter to the Dark Side.
Rider realized that Saix merely need to have all outside stimulation cut off to revert to his normal calm form. Though it offended Saix's sense of honor, Rider commented, "Victory is war and war is victory. Only a true Gorgon would know this". Trapping him with the buffeted wing blasts of Bellerophon's Pegasus, Rider then created Blood Fort Andromeda, draining the power from Saix, finally trapping him in Breaker Gorgon. Saix calmed enough to hear the words of Axel's construct. Saix's rage was turned against the All-Monster.
Saix had let slip, however, an important detail, much to Xajnus' chagrin: Xingel, the apparent head of Organization XIII (though it increasingly seems that Organization XIII is nominally democratic), plans to seal the universe in stasis to protect it from the All-Monster. Saix realized that he would rather fight the problem directly than play for a stalemate.
Saix's defection was rewarded by the arrival of the newest Organization XIII recruit: Zalbogax Varhey. Zalbogax immediately began a brutal assault, releasing his own Shadow Dragon, an Occidental-appearing beast as opposed to Golbez's wyrm, and launched it at Kairi. Archer's Rho Aias and Cloud's Cover protected her briefly, but would it be long enough?
As the second wave of Nobodies began to siege, Thrall and his corps of shamans used Chain Lightning to cut through the ranks. Raiders, Sharks, Trolls, low-rank Shinigami, Tauren and zombies used nails, blades, hula hoops, skateboards, zanpakuto and gigantic logs to beat back the opponents. But as Zalbogax summoned his own version of the Four Fiends, the combination of Weak Wind attacks from Arbariciax, zombie-producing earthquakes from Scarmiglionex, and Zainakoxz's gigantic tidal wave depleted the ocean and forced the group back to the island proper. Cantibrex absorbed the incoming waves of damage launched by turrets and increased her health. The tidal wave Zainakoxz summoned
However, help arrived in the form of Demyx! Demyx set water to dance, noting that Sam Axe had promised him the best mojito he could ever drink. Kevin set about to learn mojito recipes.
Frieza, seeing Arostfax was apparently one of his species, attempted to exert his authority over Arostfax. Arostfax said, "I'm human, dumbass", and trapped Frieza in a cage. How could this happen? How could a human Nobody appear to be a Coldperson, and have their powers? Arostfax almost seemed to be a fan of Frieza, albeit a twisted one...
Raine, Aeris and Retsu struggled to heal and revive the repeated deaths, status effects and damage that this immense assault brought.
After a brutal attack, Raine, the Angry Video Game Nerd, Aeris, Howl, Sajin, Deidara and Samus were brought down. Zalbogax then returned them to life as Balnab-style minions, making them into Frankenstein's monsters!
The Organization XIII revealed another trick up their sleeve. The All-Monster both consciously and unconsciously produces Unversed, much like Ventus' but orders of magnitude more powerful. These All-Monster Unversed Executioners pressed the attack.
By this point, the battle was going badly enough that the AI Director felt it was necessary to balance things a little. He managed to bring in Riku, furious at the attack on his unconscious friend Kairi and now an unstoppable Dark Lich; Tyriel, restored as a darker angel; King Mickey, barely touched by the AI Director's zombie contrivance; and Gandalf the White. Gandalf began to turn the horrible night into day, helping the Angry Video Game Nerd's efforts, which were the key to saving Destiny Islands.
Now came the boss wave. Exodia, Shinryuu, a Palamecian Behemoth, Archimonde, Omega Weapon, and Opal WEAPON pressed the assault. Exodia would have ended the battle instantly had he touched the island, so Godzilla was summoned by Aeris and joined a gigantic Clank, a Shadow Dragon, and other giants in defeating it by feinting Exodia into pinning Godzilla down. Archimonde began to Doom the team, but Aeris managed to keep that off everyone.
Xajnus overconfidently assumed that Yomiko would not be able to use paper manipulation with her powers turned off, but he had apparently not heard that Yomiko had ultimate paper, and did not expect that this paper would independently attack. Xajnus transformed into a space station in order to continue the attack on the teams' barriers, Gilgamesh having provided the Deific Armour of Karna to cover the entire island. Samus, however, was shot as a lightning bolt out of Iskander's chariot while the Ionio Hetioroi turned many of the incoming warriors around and began to flank and pincer the armies of Dagonian fishmen, Nobodies, Dark Side spirits, All-Monster Unversed and remaining zombies.
Shinryuu's Tidal Wave was about to destroy the island, but Aquaman held it back then commanded Shinryuu to his service. Shinryuu's counter-attack damaged the Cloud of Darkness, summoned by Zalbogax's evil, long enough for Archer to seal her using Rule Breaker and Avalon.
Exodia and Shinryuu were replaced by Twintania and the Colossus of Sardia. The Colossus of Sardia knocked Aquaman out and did tremendous damage to the island behind it before Shinryuu destroyed it. Twintania mirrored its power off of Behemoth and Opal WEAPON and released Exa Flare, nearly killing the team and destroying much of the castle.
But, as disaster seemed imminent, the Angry Video Game Nerd allowed himself to turn into a Doom Guard and cheat to summon Exodia. The battle was won, the night was over, and Organization XIII fled, their summons disappearing with the night. Thrall was disappointed he was not able to bring his bankai to bear upon Archimonde, but he realized he could defeat the demon and gain a valuable ally in one fell swoop: By using the Boss Master.
Unfortunately, Xajnus revealed that the defense of Destiny Islands did have a casualty. For while the Martian Manhunter had returned from his daze, J'onn J'onzz had managed to create a Nobody, a being of flame representing his Fenrus form. Organization XIII had grown once more.
Later, at the Keyblade Graveyard, many of the team prepared to find a Keyblade. However, they were astounded by what they saw. The Lingering Sentiment of Terra lay broken, and as it reformed, its slayer was revealed to be the young man they had been looking for. Wearing compact mail of soft earth colors, the blue-haired, baby-faced Keyblade Wielder was covered in scars of torture. Behind him, DF stood, smiling wildly, but as he began to taunt the team, the boy told him to "Shut up forever". Instantly, the truth was revealed by Sensui.
This boy had been tortured. His family had been trapped in the All-Monster's dimension, seeing constant horrors. He had been forced to see all things that were evil in the world. His purity was his downfall. Instead of pure love, all he had left was pure emptiness.
When asked why he was wreaking the destruction he was, the boy explained, with shame and anger, to heroes like Retsu and Superman, that he was a Keyblade Wielder, and that keys open doors. If doors are not meant to be open, they are not doors, they are walls. If the universe cannot tolerate having its doors open, then it was never meant to be.
However, while the presence of compassionate, caring people like Superman, Fred, Kevin and Retsu did not turn the boy around, it did cause him to reveal something even DF was unaware of: There was one last door, a Truth behind truths, a moving pyramid with a eye on the top, the incarnation of the Eye of Thoth. This was the Designer of the universe, and he would find him and... The boy could admit, even in hate, that he did not know.
DF taunted the team with a few revelations of his own. He counted for the team the confirmed members of Organization XIII he had encountered and added their own encounters. Xajnus, Saix, Demyx, Mypox, Xanikan, Razaxel, Zelbogax, Arostfax, Xingel, Atheax, Nox'jn, Inakx, Nigax, Xaldin, Marluxia, Vexen... between the two, they had encountered sixteen members, and multiple Berserkers.
This could only be possible if Organization XIII had reorganized itself into columns rather than individuals. Sets of Sorcerers, Sniper, Dragoons, Sages, Fighters, Illusionists, Berserkers, Assassins, Dancers, Gamblers, Druids and Ninjas. In fact, Xingel had acquired the ability to capture Nobodies and Heartless upon their birth and bring them to full power through some means. The team no longer had the advantage of numbers, and it appeared that Organization XIII members were often as strong as regular Avatars. Xingel's mechanisms would have to be defeated.
DF further pointed out to Fred that they had yet to encounter a Heartless of him despite his rages and DF's creation. DF is Fred's Heartless, which indicates that somewhere there is a Nobody of Fred, a being with Magi powers and likely the ability to use any power available to a Nobody. They would have to find him before Organization XIII.
The Keyblade User had tired of his tormentor talking, and conjured thousands of Keyblade wielder spirits to overwhelm the team and keep them at bay.
Earlier...
Defending Fabul from Mechanikar attack after the assault of the Armageddon's Eyelet, Black, Cecil, Cloud, Sam, Howl, and others came to Fabul's aid. Howl's castle devastated the Mechanikar navy, while Yang's wife knocked out both Naval Commander Tiberius and Storm Raider Skyhoof. The waves of Mombombs and Samurai Nobodies were cut down with ease, and Black used his Matrix abilities to reflect Blast Shield Earthleaf's chain-shieldsaws back into him. The battle also served to recruit many new allies: T. Hawk, Knuckles, Dudley, Malfurion Stormrage and Jotaro devastated the Earthshaker Groundhorn. Four Mechanikar sub-commanders had been defeated with relative ease.
Dudley has joined the party! Let's fight like gentlemen.
T. Hawk has joined the party! I can feel the wind's omens telling me to avoid Sam Axe's sushi night.
Jotaro has joined the party! Time for a bizarre adventure.
Knuckles has joined the party! Let's save that hedgehog before he gets himself killed.
Malfurion Stormrage has joined the party! I hear the call of the wild.
Using Minwu, Cloud, Fred, and others, Lavos was similarly killed, exploiting his high damage reductions on his main body of the second form and the Right Bit of the Third Form.
Finally, in Figaro, the Black X group was defeated and Kaiba freed of mind control. Pranax Mandal, the commander who defected to the team due to his unique code of honor as a demon lord, explained that this time, Black X will use Grail Magic from their native SaGa World to reopen the Holy Grail and try to become Gods of this world.

Mario, Thrash, Badcat, Xeno, Sam, Chad, Lee, Superman, Dr. Manhattan and Link decided to try to battle Metal Cooler. The heroes fought bravely, but were overrun by the swarms of Cooler clones produced by the Big Gedi Star. However, once captured, Final Heavens, Legendary Explosion, Dr. Manhattan's fusion power and everyone else's sacrifice destroyed the Big Gedi Star and "won".
In the Scott Pilgrim world, a small team discovered Scott standing over Unversed, Heartless and Nobodies, having destroyed a substantial amount. The Nobody across from him wearing a tightly tailored Black Cloak was gregariously surprised and more than a little intimidated, but did not back down against Kevin even after Mario Dimensional Anchored, insisting, "I was gonna fight you guys anyways". He revealed himself to be Xobit, Nobody of Madara, but appeared to have the personality of Tobi primarily, only barely masquerading as Madara. Xobit proceeded to badly hurt Kevin and take over Tom's medic drawings, but Naruto's repeated Finishers using his Bunshins inflicted billions of damage, causing Xobit to retreat. Apparently, their plan had been to cause Nega Scott to be released from within Scott.
In the Lylat System, a large portion of the team continuing to pass from reality to reality found that Cornelia was under a devastating assault. Xenosians coordinated with All-Monster Unversed, Heartless, Nobodies, Hollows, and the Heartless of Andross, as well as remnants of Andross' army; the Eighth Plague brought the scourge of the Zerg, revealing that after Kerrigan had been recently purged by Jim Raynor that there had been a power vacuum in that time-space; Darth Vatar, Daikon and a new Zentraedi/Invid mech pilot specialist attacked as well; Xigbar seemed to represent O. XIII's interests, though exactly how was uncertain, and if he was acting under orders from Xingel; and there was a pharoah head. Odd.
Kimimaro created his forest of bone while Metal Cooler replicated himself. The AI Director seized upon the horrible success of the Xenosians to balance the scales somewhat by summoning a Climax of zombies, meaning that the Fate's Guardians could focus the elite units and remain alive.
Samus engaged in a heated one-on-one against a Xenosian ace, John Xanos. John revealed that he had been looking forward to matching wits against the famous bounty hunter and had created some tricks, but ultimately, Samus' Zero Suit proved the ace in the hole. She still ended up crashing into the ground.
The Eighth Plague fight began disastrously, with the L4D survivors, Dr. Manhattan, and Ratchet all being destroyed by his Nerubian Carrion Swarm and sixteen chain casted Ultimas. Rider's superior Magic Resistance let her survive, but only barely. She managed to resurrect the party, only for Manhattan to again be consumed. Ultimately, the team pulled out a bare win by Rider handing over the Bellerophon reins to Dr. Manhattan, which let him summon Bahamut and amplify his powers one rank, emerging victorious... just.
Things went just as badly against Daikon. He repeatedly brought Spiderman, Batman, Frieza, Daxter, Kimimaro and Metal Cooler low. Ultimately, Scott Pilgrim Delivered the Finishing Blow after being summoned by the AI Director, but not before Daikon revealed that he had mastered angel light ki, Super Saiyan 5 All-Monster Dragon God, and numerous other immense powers.
One of the Cryos apparently had appeared, but Black quickly realized that this was actually an accretion of junk. However, after Tyriel, Black and others failed to smash the mecha finally and utterly, Retsu's binding attempt indicated the truth: This was a Mech Dreamer, a psychic who forms mecha out of junk parts through a variety of means. Luckily, Ragna managed to Astral Heat the mecha and win.
The battle against Xigbar went somewhat better. Xigbar began by pressuring Link, Zaraki and others, but Zaraki's bankai proved too much for him to handle.
But will victory protect Lylat from further harm? And how will they protect the Star Fox universe? The answers await... Next episode... Of Final Battle!

The Void Heartless' assault caused Fenix, Tassadar, Gilgamesh, Iskander, Doc Samson, Metal Cooler clones, Naruto clones, ninja clones, General Patton, Hulk, Ganon, Jesse, and others to appear on a planet called Aiur. Their rings indicated that this was the home planet of the Protoss people. They immediately saw a terrible assault on its way on a lone Nexus with Terran and Protoss units, a small base against tens of millions of Zerg and other insect creatures, as well as Unversed Dreadvoids.
Patton used his Noble Phantasm ability "Bluff Normandy" to create a true-to-life illusion, reinforced by enemy "intelligence", of the base being elsewhere, giving the group long enough to plan a defense against this assault. They were introduced to a man named Raynor, who Fenix and Tassadar immediately greeted. Raynor was skeptical about this, fearing a telepathic assault, clones, or other infiltration, but he was brought at ease by Fenix's stories, stories that even Raynor had forgotten. Raynor was ecstatic to reunite with old, perished friends. Thrall began constructing and summoning spirits and Horde members to enhance the Protoss-Terran base. Raynor revealed that Sarah Kerrigan, the former Queen of Blades, was recuperating from her ordeal after being de-infested. They had to protect her at all costs from being reassimilated.
Doc Samson got to work healing the mind of Kerrigan, dealing with her guilt, anguish, anger, and trauma, while the attack began in earnest. A million zombies of dead Terrans and Protoss, imbued with the spirit power of Tassadar, managed to hold back the land invasion. The air invasion, however, was rather more problematic. The Dreadvoids and Guardians managed to severely harm many members on the team.
Eventually, it was revealed that the Eighth Plague was acting as a local Overmind here, sharing his power with a new Organization XIII member, Rekrignax. More importantly, the Zerg, thought shaken up and disorganized after the consecutive deaths of two Overminds, were revealed to now be under the control of the most hideous Overmind yet: The All-Monster.
Martian Manhunter revealed that he had broken into Splynncryth and had Thrash, Badcat, Xenocratis and Superman repel defenders until he could reverse the alignments of several White Martians, including the former Hyperclan. The Hyperclan leapt with great vengeance upon the hordes, but the Eighth Plague struck them down with Firaja.
Tassadar and Zeratul's fusion as well as Patton's elite forces and the Ionioi Hetioroi managed to keep back the increasingly enhanced Zerg, but the battle was reaching a fever pitch.
The AI Director's zombies were not all he had to offer, however. He summoned a Worms Tribe who immediately pledged their loyalty to Patton and used Concrete Donkeys on the incoming swarms. He also summoned an aerial drop of SPARTANs, including the legendary Master Chief, who ripped apart the air squad but arrived too late to help in the main battle.
Eventually, Martian Manhunter managed to take control of enough Zerg to turn the battle around and force the Eighth Plague and Rekrignax to flee, taking the Were-Dragon in tow. Back on Earth...
Black decided that it was time to finally do something about the simultaneous invasions and attacks of the Xenosians, the Splugorth, Naruni "repossession" and "scouting" teams, monster squads of the All-Monster, All-Monster Unversed, All-Monster Heartless, All-Monster Hollows, the Mechanikar, and numerous demons from Dyval, Hades, Hell and elsewhere.
First, Firion used his contacts in the XLF to allow Dr. Strange to scry the location of the XLF. Teleporting in, a core set of team representatives met XLF leaders, including former Returner leader Banon, the founder of the first XLF cell Liberacion, and, much to Michael Westen's chagrin, the infamous terrorist and "freedom fighter" Conspirator. The XLF revealed that they had broken into Gramercy Island and released Conspirator as well as former African warlord-turned repentant hero Abatwa. The XLF officially extended their condolences to Dib for the fate of his father.
The XLF were not aware of the All-Monster and were informed. When combining their information with the Fate's Guardian's information, things looked grim.
The Xenosians were invading the entirety of Firion's world. They had forces occupying cities from Kaipo to Radiant Gardens. The Mechanikar had managed to take high-level All-Monster technology and, on a loan from the Naruni, begin an invasion of all of Azeroth and Outlands, as well as magic enclaves like Byblos, Mysidia, the other Mysidia, and elsewhere. The Splugorth were doing slave runs in the American Midwest, Africa, Mongolia, Vietnam, South America, and other Third World nations. The Naruni were claiming ownership of all of the Associated Worlds, based on the massive Mechanikar debt. And everywhere, WEAPONs, Unversed, Heartless, mindless Nobodies, zombies, demons, monsters, ghosts, Hollows, Unsent, and others were on the attack.
Black had already defended Fabul from a monster invasion. He decided to take the fight to the Xenosians' own continent, where their invasion of Byblos has proceeded slowly but surely. Aquaman, Ayase Terada, Gezora, Ebirah, Hedorah, Gojira, Jack Sparrow, Kadzo Deepfisher, Whitebeard, Portgas D. Ace, and Guybrush Threepwood were assigned to the naval battle. Fred, Gilgamesh, Iskander, Rider, Corki, Battrah and Gigan were assigned to the air battle. And Biollante, Black, Cloud, Tifa, Barragan, Coyote Starrk, Tia Harribel, Magmus, Byakuya, Metal Cooler clones, AI Director, Lancer, Aeris, and ninja/Badcat clones were assigned to the land battle.
The land battle initially went quite well, the team being rail accelerated out of a special rail catapult on the Ranger's Wings. The zombie invasion from without, the unstoppable kaiju power of Biollante, the wide spray mode of Lancer's Gae Bolg, and the heavy firepower of Black stymied the Xenosian soldiers. But this was not to last. The Xenosians revealed powerful commanders who turned the fight into a desperate battle.
Black's immense new experience proved difficult to handle, as he dusted a planet-sized rock hurled by a Erta Hulking Hurler. But Ragnaros, Lord of Flame, revealed himself, trying to take back the throne Black "stole". (Or, rather, double his power by taking an anomalous new folio).
Dreambeast then revealed himself. He indicated that he was going to continue to attack until he had kidnapped on of Mario's friends, hoping that this would spur his "son" into action. Dreambeast's forbidden magics nearly killed the entire team, and blew Barragan out of existence, but he was eventually repelled.
Meanwhile, an infiltration team of Kimimaro, Sid, Deadpool, Soifon, Solid Snake, the Box Ghost, Elliot, Michael Westen and Kidomaru attempted to break into the Xenosian's Magitek Factory. They had the incredibly poor luck of encountering Emperor Julian the III, Lord of Xenosia, the Mailed Imperator. Though they initially attempted to assassinate the Emperor, hoping this would end the war, they realized that his powers were too immense as long as he was within Xenosian territory.
However, Guldo realized that this moment of crisis was a perfect time for Wolverine to recruit an old nemesis of Jotaro: Dio Brando. Dio's The World Stand was incredibly dominant, but he could only manifest physical attacks, none of which would stop the regenerating adamantium-boned supersoldier. Dio was eventually slain by a Berserker Barrage X.
Dio Brando decided that he would put aside his differences with Jotaro to thank those who had restored him to life and used The World to stop time, letting Michael Westen blast flawless gigais developed by Urahara, Mayuri and Szayel and convince Julian the III that he had turned against the Fate's Guardians.
Michael Westen has left the party! When faking treachery, one has to remember that no one trusts traitors.
Michael has already begun sending the information he has become privy to to the XLF. However, the team will have to do their best not to expose him...
Later...
In order to repel the Xenosian invasion of his planet, Firion suggested something he had hoped he would not have to: Restoring his old nemesis, Mateus Palamecia, to life.
A small group composed of Tempest, Lassiter, Minwu, Soifon and four others attacked both the Heaven and Hell Emperor. Lassiter managed to stun both with his Quickdraw while Tempest struck both with Elemental Void. While the Heaven and Hell Emperor, their chariots drawn by Behemoths and Ultima Weapons, and their monster hordes stood stunned for ten seconds, Minwu, Soifon and the others slayed the group with ease.
With the Emperor having been reborn, hordes of angels, demons, and Palamecian loyalists began to pressure the Xenosian invasion.
Firion took up the task of defending his hometown of Fynn. Dungeon Man created a dungeon for the Xenosian soldiers to get lost in, while Komamura, several kaiju, Gaara and others hammered away at the snipers and entrenched artillery.
At the end of the battle, Firebrand, Firion, Sam and the Angry Video Game Nerd fought a Splugorth Conservator, a Mechanikar commander called Magnetis, a Xenosian commander called the Waveblade, the Heartless of Borghen, an Unversed Presence of Garland, and a Mirror Person who became a dishonorable ice demon. Firebrand was irked enough to use Death to slay them all, leading to Waveblade and Magnetis being captured.
Meanwhile...
A group of investigators went to the League of Legends, investigating allegations of tampering. Lassiter, Shawn, Gus, Leroy Gibbs, Artie, Tony, and others found that Bilgewater accused Garen of Demacia of attacking in an unregistered fashion, Demacia accused Bilgewater and Noxus of the same, and so on.
Entering into a League match, Riku, Warwick, and others found out the truth: The All-Monster was tampering with the matches to cause war on Runeterra. After this discovery, the Ranger's Wings and all of the team beat the Avatars and cheating enemies.
But the damage had already been done. Although their heroes defected after Penance Stare and Sanctuary struck them, Noxus had found new heroes, and went on the warpath...
Later, at the Dark Tournament:
Kevin prepared to battle his foe. It was revealed to be a strange robot, with technology not known even to the Book of Oa. Kevin immediately faced the wrath of the Excel Wave, the ultimate destructive wave attack! His foe was revealed to be a surviving guardian robot from the Second Universe.
Kevin ended up absorbing the robot into him and acquiring it as a suit of armor, gaining the knowledge and power of the second universe. He then met with a man named Tyrant who claimed to be the designer of this universe. Kevin warned him that the unnamed Keyblade User would be trying to find him.
Dib fought a friend of his from Skeptics and Investigators Board. Dib and the man, who revealed himself to be the first Free Thinker, ended up tying after an epic match.
Knuckles engaged Blueshift, the Universal Constant, a daemon of pure speed. Knuckles had used the Sphere Grid to master his own speed through the Flash training, but his ability to achieve the speed of light and break it using Cosmo-Knight powers was as nothing to this speedster who could control the universal constant and velocity at its core. Blueshift blasts and the dreaded Accretion Titan later, Knuckles was nearly dead. But the toughness of the echidna would not let him lose, and as he charged in, trading blows with his opponent, he finally struck an overhead punch that rattled the entire Earth. Blueshift was defeated.
With only six Crinodaemons left and the record being 12-6, victory was no longer possible for the Krinodaemons. The best they could hope for now was a tiebreaker.
But many more rounds awaited in the Dark Tournament...
In a dimensional vortex:
Free, Gilgamesh, Dumbledore, Riku, Bruce Lee, Kiba, Soifon, Deidara, and Ray found themselves in a nightmarish alternate reality, stripped of their powers. It seemed like a normal town called Lotus, where they lived relatively normal lives. But, after a terrifying night, Free, Gilgamesh, Dumbledore, Riku, Lee, Soifon and Deidara were accused of murder! Escaping into abandoned sewers, they found themselves in a mirrored room, facing versions of themselves wielding strange weapons. These weapon souls insisted that the group slaughter Black Star, Avenger, Voldemort, Aizen, Xemnas, Itachi, and others. Riku intuited that they must say no. After being struck down, the nine plus Raziel and Firebrand found that they had ultimate weapons!
In addition, they found Two Cops, Kain, Ryu of Gate and Bow of Gate unconscious, apparently having also been trapped by the illusion...

Lust was fought as a Boss Master. Blue Beetle absorbed her attacks long enough for her to be defeated with his new Beetle armor.
Similarly, Greed was defeated by Firestorm.
The whole team became Claymores!
Those in the Scott Pilgrim world continued to free his friends in order to keep a Nega-Scott-based Hollow from being released. One group stopped Inakx, the Nobody of Kain, from harming Ramona and Knives. Another group stopped Rarchex, Nobody of Archer, and Wowixill, Nobody of Willow, from harming the rest of Scott's friend.
But the Keyhole still awaited...
The invasion of the Associated Worlds worsened. Earth had been relatively safe, but no more. A fortress on an island flew through space and destroyed Cryos and Earth's greatest fleets. The American fleet, the Russian fleet, the English fleet... all were as nothing to this invader. Maxim recognized the new attackers: Amon of Chaos, Gades of Destruction, and Daos of Terror. But Erim was conspicuously absent. Replacing them...
Was Nekron.
Apparently, the time of judgment was truly approaching. Daos, Amon and Gades had freed Nekron from his prison with the aid of Arek.
Fred charged in with the strength he had, but was struck from mid-air by Galactic Lancer. This power was far beyond what Maxim had known. The Sinistrals truly were all powerful.
But as amazing as their new power was, it was not dominant. The ultimate Enterprise Delta endured their attacks and fought back with everything they had. With the Ranger's Wings, the Baronian Enterprise, the fleets of Baron, the Invincible, the Balamb Garden, a Bugger fleet, and a Protoss fleet, the Sinistrals' fleet of the dead was kept at bay.
Further, Nekron found that his authority extended only so far. Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, and many other authorities of the dead had declared their war against these new invaders.
Still, the endless swarms of the dead were truly powerful, and they were joined by yet another threat: The Kreeghor Empire. This alien empire, truly run by an eldritch abomination, had declared war on Earth. With the All-Monster's technology, magic and enhancements, their Invincible Guardsmen were a counter for any Fate's Guardian, their ships a match for anything but the Enterprise Delta and the Ranger's Wings.
While everyone got struck by Galactic Lancer, Fred endured by far the worst: Being kidnapped by someone in Organization XIII.
This event proved the last straw for the United States government. President Colin Powell met with the team and offered covert assistance in the form of the Cryos and C. Viper.
Darkseid at the Dark Tournament informed the team that Hal Jordan had been attacking evil species the universe over. At this rate, Hal Jordan would commit genocide, cross lines not meant to be crossed. The plan was simple: "Kite" Hal Jordan to Splynn, then take him to Azlan, flipping the alignment of Parallax to Ion. Sinestro endured the attacks of his most dangerous foe, being healed by an entire group, attacks on Hal Jordan by the likes of Frieza being repelled by the sheer power. But eventually, after destroying entire swarms of Splynn soldiers and letting the team capture thousands of Atlantean soldiers and free tens of thousands of slaves, Jordan was reverted and the team retreated. The Splugorth invasion of Earth had been fought back and a great warrior recruited all at one time.
Larfleeze was somewhat of a harder nut to crack. Captain Strong explained the economics of the universe's collapse. In essence, it was better for him to let the universe grow to take more things. But the All-Monster had placed traps in Larfleeze's stockpile, so the crew prepared to commit insurance fraud... of a type. They managed to get an insurance policy to cover Larfleeze's possessions. Meanwhile, they stopped an Avatar attack.
The attack was the standard fare, but it did reveal two new opponents. First: A darklighter and a former Avatar. Second: Kevin's mentor, Tom Thanteg.
Later, at the Dark Tournament...
The team now wanted to head off what may actually be worse in some ways than a defeat: A tiebreaker, forcing the Fate's Guardians to engage in some kind of tense sudden death challenge.
Martian Manhunter stepped up. Before the battle, they had battled the Hyperclan through the Boss Master in order to allow the Manhunter to fuse with the Hyperclan members conjured by the Boss Master. The Golden Knight's gift of the Boss Master's revealed itself to be truly advantageous, as Martian Manhunter was able to ascend to the power of Fenrus. With the power of the Hogyoku, sealing magic, psychic sealing, and exposure to the Rift at Azlan, the destructive power of Martian Manhunter's Fenrus form was revealed. But Martian Manhunter came across the dilemma that all Dark Tournament combatants face: Reveal too much, and you become too vulnerable; reveal too little, and you lose.
The enemy Martian Manhunter fought in particular proved to be an especially difficult challenge: An ancient android R. Giskard recognized as his old friend, R. Daneel Olivaw. Martian Manhunter found it hard to keep his true power hidden from this ancient mentalist, but R. Daneel indicated that he fought with the Krinodaemons only to keep an eye on events at the Dark Tournament, and had no interest in "jamming Martian Manhunter up". Though the immense power of the android at first stymied J'onn J'onzz, Martian Manhunter managed to emerge victorious with a ringout.
At this point, with the competition being 13-6, the Krinodaemons had no chance. But their fight could still mean something: If the damage they dealt would defeat the Fates' Guardians chances at victory, their memory was assured.
In that vein, they sent the master of their void cloak at Mario. This being insisted it was the defender of the Void, only recently obviated by the position of Luminous Knight. The two fought, and Mario was utterly destroyed, his chaincasting attempt turned against him. But Mario managed to, while losing the fight, unwrite the creature's registration. Another victory awaited them.
Dr. Manhattan fought next. It was hard to imagine a foe who could eclipse the power of this physical god, but so far, the Krinodaemons had failed to disappoint. His foe could not speak or introduce himself, but was introduced by his teammates as Demiurge. The creature's mastery of true words/thoughtsounds and deific power caused Dr. Manhattan to nearly die, as he was sent to nothingness several times. But Dr. Manhattan persisted, and he got by with a little help from his friends. He created a quantum computer using nothingness as the zero, created several universes, and managed to come up with a tentative answer to the Final Question. With this knowledge, he managed to create micro-universes to deck the foe into defeat.
Finally, Thrash fought one of the Eight Heroes, an ogre named Rab. The Eight Heroes fought the Old Ones and managed to get a degree of independence for demons. Daemons, youkai, yoma... all independent demonic creatures owed them everything. Rab immediately told the team the history of Crashing Heavens, including their brutality and their slaying of Na'Pacuabra. While Kevin pointed out that the team had far worse on their side, Fred's response was quiet. The news was hard.

Many ancient heroes have been returned by the techniques used in the Grail War. Kratos of Greece, the God of War, has been summoned as a Berserker, alongside others like Nursery Rhyme, Gawain and Robin Hood.

The next floor of the Dimensional Vortex was faced by Free, Kiba and their friends. As they went through what appeared to be the Air Floor of the Temple of Fiends - Past, they saw a young Japanese man facing an ancient green dragon, two Air Elementals and three Great Eyes. A brutal fight began with the elementals controlling them, but the Great Eyes had been slain and the fight was beginning to turn around.
The team got a message from Bad Horse, the Thoroughbred of Sin. For the upcoming Dark Tournament, he was willing to back the team. He had bets on them and Team Revelation, a group of mystics, clerics and holy men. But Bad Horse's most promising new recruit, Dr. Horrible, was missing. The team found he was under attack by Penny, his former girlfriend, alongside Father the humonculus and Sidious. Nekron had brought these two back to life under his control. After a fierce battle which nearly ended in death, Spiderman managed to pull everyone out of there.
Dr. Horrible has joined the party! I would sing to commemorate this time, but you will find that I am bad at rhyme...ing.
Kevin got it into his mind to recruit many of Link's greatest foes.
Zabuza cut Odolwa's blade in half and killed him in one blow.
Odolwa has joined the party!
Firestorm turned Goht's arena into pudding, with some resistance from the temple, then whittled it down with punches and nuclear blasts.
Goht has joined the party!
Sasuke used Amaterasu to melt the water in Gyorg's room then struck him helplessly with Kirin.
Gyorg has joined the party!
Guldo used Time Stop to make it easy for Jonah Hex to shoot the varmint Fyrus in the face and lasso 'im down.
Darbus, Lord of the Gorons, Formerly Fyrus, has joined the party!
Aquaman let Shinryuu wrap around Morpheel then punched it in the face, sending in an audition to World's Most One-Sided Fist Fights.
Morpheel has joined the party!
Venom and Kazuma took out Stallord. Kazuma punched out the vertebrae while Venom used Venom Web on all of the minions. Venom then tied it down before it could fly up, and Kazuma and Venom curbstomped the skull.
Stallord has joined the party!
Queen Gohma, with the help of Boush the Tinker, lasered, missiled, bit and egged Argogohma to death, becoming Argogohma as well.
Queen Gohma has become Argogohma!
Kevin one-shotted Argorok, using a segmented line to blow open its shell and send it careening to the ground.
Argorok has joined the team!
Link showed off his new power, alongside Psycho Pirate who had taken on the form of Bongo Bongo through Nu Mou Morpher, and killed Zant without using his blade once until the last blow.
Zant has joined the team!
Hal Jordan devastated Majora by summoning copies of the entire Green Lantern Corps.
Majora has joined the party! What's that laughing sound? [Majora can be worn as a mask or be used as an independent character.]
Twinmold and Diababa were also defeated.
In addition, Jesse Bond, Ryu Ryoji of Onagi High and Huey Freeman were recruited!
Later, at the Dark Tournament...
Orihime battled another one of the Eight Heroes, a woman who was the daughter of an Elder and a demon. Orihime was initially stymied by her opponents' private dimension, but after switching bodies through a soul unity, she managed to secure a tie. Orihime's performance was impressive enough to make the crowd respect the little ryoka woman, and Eldrada the Second Heroine offered her the knowledge of creation later...

Android #16 was faced by a large team, standing in for Cell and the Cell Jrs. #16 fought valiantly and managed to score early wins against Retsu, but was ultimately harmed by Tom's rust monster, Zabuza's ultimate blade and other attacks that sealed his fate.
#16 informs the team in his taciturn manner, "When I was in Heaven," (isn't he a robot? I can understand the T-800, he was part organic, but this thing?) "the Black Lantern attempted to take me, but I could not be dead." (Why?) "But others were taken. Prepare for them". #16 identifies many, including many on the Boss Master list who are now sealed until Nekros can be beaten back, or until the Golden Knight's power can be increased.
However, this has freed up some of the Golden Knight's power for other uses...

The team has been granted Exp. Shares by Kevin, which allows them all to get a fraction of the experience of every battle!
In the battle at the Keyblade Graveyard, the AI Director's power allowed him to create zombie Keyblade Masters and neutralize the enemy Wielders, reducing thousand-to-one odds to three-to-one odds. Subsequent work allowed Mr. Miracle to bluff that the child, now known to be named Noba, and his parents were not under the All-Monster's thumb, giving them time to make that a reality. Further, Goku had some Potara Earrings, and before DF could think to run or the All-Monster could pull him out, Mr. Miracle used the last few moments of Transgressive Glibness to put the earrings on Fred and DF.
Normally, the All-Monster could still return DF, but this would be much more difficult due to the qualitatively new persona that had emerged. More importantly, DF's contracts had always had a clause for either party to terminate, with savage repercussions, if either party knew that DF wasn't complying.
In the Matrix, not only was Aladdin found, as was Morpheus and the crew, and Neo, but Sora was found as well. Xingel, one of the #1s of Organization XIII, arranged a truce with the team, but unfortunately, as Fred was freed from his grasp, Xehanort revealed that he had been backing the whole endeavor and made a new body. Luckily, the team's celerity prevented Xehanort from draining Xingel's power as he had planned, but they now faced an endless swarm of vile Organization XIII members and monsters...
Later, at the Dark Tournament...
Tom faced a master of not only art but language, a combination of glyphs and meaning. The creature was able to summon the All-Monster as a symbol, but Tom managed to overwhelm it with his immense Hollow power created by putting on his mask, revealing that he had branched fully into Hiyori's Sphere Grid.
Meanwhile, Vader battled an ancient supernatural intelligence who had mastered the Force at a deep level. Vader's immense toughness let him withstand dozens of assaults, but upon being stunlocked, he had to wait until near the moment of death to free himself from the physical and mental assault and slay his opponent. In a last blazing set of saber fighting, the two defeated each other. But Wallace smiled as his brilliant work, among all the others who had improved Vader's cybernetics, stood on its own, Vader himself unconscious, and managed to do so for long enough despite grievous damage, Vader's own indomitable spirit amplifying it, to win.
One more fight against the Krinodaemons remained...
