Every heroic individual has a Banalet Tower somewhere that contains energy attuned to them. Achieving it opens up a new level of power, especially personal elemental power; allows further Unity (or Cooperation Tech) attacks; and opens up other unknown possibilities...

Jerry will go for this one, this is just his sort of thing. What information are we given on the start about these things?

Only that the Aquatallions before you scaled four towers, one for Ray, Leona, Tina and Cody.

Who were the Aquatallions, and are the people you just named OGM?

The Aquatallions, alongside the Kustera, on a distant planet opposed the forces of Homncruse. Yes, they are OGM.

Jerry will call Ray on his cellphone, if Ray has any phone numbers.

Ray lives in Lumina, the town that was built on an area called Old Hill.

Yes, but I was asking if he had any phone numbers Jerry could call him at. :3

...No such thing as "phones" anymore . There are communicators, and yes, he does have a number.

Awe, Jerry likes cellphones though. : P But alright, Jerry will call Ray on his communicator.

Well, I'm being semantical, most people call them phones.
Ray replies instantly, "Yes?"

"Hello Ray, this is Jerry from the CH. I was wondering about those Banalet Star Towers I've been hearing about. Would you happen to be able to help me?"

"Well, we just explored our planet for those. I think they tend to be close to home. Why not look there? Hueco Mundo may have your tower."

"Alrighty, thank you." Jerry clicks out. He'll look up Hueco Mundo in the database to get a general idea of the place.

...Jerry doesn't need to. Hueco Mundo is Hollow World. The area of the Spirit Realms that contain the Hollows, a subset of the Phantom Realms.

Ah, that's right. Are there any known items that can act like a monster repellent to Hollows? I think if I went to this plane of existance, I'd find myself the main course and have Hollows from miles coming to dine on my spiritual energy.

Pretty much any trick that works to repel ghosts, but none are perfect. That's what makes this dangerous: Having to go into the lion's den, perhaps literally. The thing is that any overt repellent would usually involve spiritual energy or would indicate someone who could be used to gain spirit energy and thus would elicit an attack from, say, a vasto lorde. A more subtle repellent probably would not carry enough punch.
What Jerry can do is more subtle: Bring some equipment that will function as a slight repellent, keep his energy hidden, sneak, etc. Reduce the amount of encounters instead of eliminating them.

Maybe something like spirit cuffs? Something so reduce his spirit energy to something like the energy on the plane that keeps the Hollows' taste buds sated? Make his energy sort of blend in with everything else's?

Actually, that kills two birds with one stone: Spirit Cuff IV training from Felhame. The second one is a chameleon, but she could create a special Spirit Cuffs that also makes your energy subsume into the environment, which would train other skills too.

That sounds great, I'll go to Felhame's place then.

Felhame is striding about the complex, quietly accumulating herbs.

"Felhame?" Jerry calls out, jogging up next to the person and observing the herbs Felhame has already accumulated. "Felhame, may I ask something of you? I'm heading into Hueco Mundo and I was curious about measures I could take to keep the Hollows off my back."

"It's necessary for me to obtain the power within my star tower. I was wondering if maybe you could design a pair of spirit cuffs that could cause me to be like a chameleon within Hueco Mundo, spreading my energy out into the general area to make me blend in so I won't draw the Hollows to myself."

|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Apr 2, 2007 23:00:57 GMT -5
"Why is it necessary?"
|
|
|
Post by Mace Parshath on Apr 2, 2007 23:07:18 GMT -5
(Sorry, meant "Necessary in order for me to obtain" )
Jerry coughs into his forearm. "Pardon, I meant it is necessary for me to do in order to obtain the star tower power."

"And why is that necessary?" OOG: I, on the other hand, meant what I said

He stops and looks at Felhame, not sure as to where she is going with this. "So I can help my team. My life has been built around competence, I will not be a weak-link in the group."
